I found this cool little Cafe after having a meal at a restaurant near by. I had an espresso with some baklava for dine in. They have small tables and chairs outside the Cafe and it made me feel as if I was having coffee somewhere in Istanbul. A few more food options might do wonders. But overall very satisfied.

Such a hidden gem. i don’t usually write reviews but i had to leave a positive rating after my study session here. i stayed for a few hours and was welcomed with really an amazing service + oat milk options which was plus. i appreciated how it’s a lot less packed than the cafes down the block and seating is very spread out & lit with natural light. there’s outdoor seating and an upstairs nook as well. spend an afternoon here after stopping by the flea market —it’s right across the street!!

Authentic Turkish Coffee in DC! It is so hard to find real authentic Turkish coffee in the area. This place has the real deal authentic Turkish Coffee, made to perfection (which is very hard to do), and Turkish tea. Look no other place in DC if you want real Turkish coffee!!

I often stop here for an Illy cappuccino. Yesterday my husband and I had a delicious birthday lunch sat outside enjoying the sunshine. I had asked the owner to reserve a table, which they were happy to do. We chose grape leaves, chickpea salad and a hot dish similar to lasagna finishing off with baklava. All delicious and served with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run business.

I was biking in Georgetown and saw this place. The person at the counter is very friendly, best coffee place in DC. I love history and coffee, and this place reminds me of Turkey, the cafe Janti means Rich and Lavish! Ask the person how to make the coffee he will give details and trust me this is the place you will experience the diversity of coffee.

This place is the best for coffee lovers. The Ambiance is relaxing and warm. They offer Delicious quality coffee and they also serve a variety of fresh Homemade baked goods and desserts. They even have nice breakfast / lunch sandwiches. The Barista is always warm and friendly. The spot is cozy and music in the background was a nice touch. If you have time, check out upstairs(2nd floor ) you can find a Turkish market that has authentic foods and unique goods. Prices are very reasonable too. Strongly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it.

Janti Cafe opened six months ago just south of Observatory Circle next door to Cafe Divan. Its a small Turkish cafe and market. The first floor is a little cafe selling pastries (sweet and savory), coffee, and grab-and-go items like juice, milk, and other items. The second floor is a Turkish market selling all sorts of Turkish items from sweets to noodles to coffee.I ordered a chocolate pastry and a beef pastry, both very good!

Wanted to get out of the suburbs for a little bit with the family. Decided to check out a new cafe I heard about in the city on Wisconsin Ave.. Janti Cafe was really impressive. The customer service was top notch. The illy coffee I had was excellent. They recommended their Panini sandwich which was perfectly toasted and blended with the melted cheese. I then topped it off with the Baklava and it was out of this world. It was not too rich yet the sweetness of honey mixed with chop nuts makes my mouth water just thinking about it again. Excellent service, great food, coffee, great location, very cozy feel in the middle of the city. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee and something good to eat. Definitely coming back.

I work around the corner, and since Dec. or Jan. this has been my go-to place for coffee. I also often get a spinach burek and cheese burek for a light lunch (pastries similar to Greek spanakopita with spinach or tyropita with cheese). They also have some awesome other savory pastries whose names I dont remember.Upstairs the grocery has awesome Turkish olives and many other treats.
