Good snacks (ie, Hershey’s Moosetrack ice cream, other nostalgic comfort food). A little over priced, but that’s probably the markup from some grudging five finger discounts. Decent coffee, mediocre sandwiches, decent alcohol selection. Exactly what you’re looking for in a neighborhood corner store.
A very nice Mount pleasant community grocery store friendly staff well stocked organized clean
Lived next to this place for a year. Absolutely loved it. Great sandwiches. Decent wine and beer selection. Always comes through in a pinch.
Great little market with good of snack choices plus some pantry staples. They also have a pretty fairly priced deli counter. I had a bagel and wasnt disappointed!
Great corner store with tons of selection, friendly staff, and a bomb deli with tons of great sandwiches!
Foods fine but be prepared for the slowest service of all time at the deli
I love arygle maket. They have a great selecton and friendly staff!
Amazing beer selection. Super friendly staff.
I walked in, greeted the guy behind the counter, but got no greeting back..felt an uneasy feeling about the guy so I just left.
Always friendly, great tunes, and oh yeah, well stocked.
I 💘 Argyle Store and l frequently visit because the peoples that works there are very kind.
Great customer service always!!!
Staff is very rude.
They just denied entrance to ya service dog
Argyle is my preferred corner shop because it has a good selection of both necessities along with specialty snacks & alcohol. Even better they renovated and offer deli sandwiches and premade grab & go food section. Great option when you just want a simple sandwich or quick late night meal. Good service with friendly staff who remembers you.
Argyle Convenient Store is a larger than normal bodega on the north side of Mt. Pleasant Street NW. Its run by friendly faces and has anywhere from basic food items to lottery tickets to basic household items. One unique thing about this bodega is the pastry and coffee corner if you need an early morning, quick breakfast/cup of coffee. Its not the best food or coffee youll have, but it gets the job done. Think gas station coffee and quality of pastries.Pro-tip: They do NOT have baby food, but Bestworld nearby does!
Their prices are better than 7-Eleven down the street, and they pay more for their goods wholesale than 7-Eleven does. Everybody that works there is laid back. I have been going there off and on since I was a teenager, and the only gripe they have ever given me was for bringing my bicycle inside the store.
This place has been recently renovated and its very nice and organized. I like the new addition they have of the deli service. The employees are nice and they have a good variety of things at a reasonable price.
Has everything I would ask for of a local corner store. Some of the grocery items are on the higher quality side, it has a good beer selection. Deli is decent
Great neighboorhood corner store. Fast and friendly checkout, reasonable prices and a small selection of beer. Im happy its in my hood.
My experience with VFitDC was exceptionally rewarding, both physically and emotionally. Chay presents just the right amount of pushing to get one physically fit without judgment, regardless of ones previous physical fitness (or lack thereof). A most pleasant experience.
Great business! Great owners nicw deli bar with great sandwiches and salads. Well deserved business in a good community
Its a pleasant little corner store with a nice section of products.
Great sandwiches
Its just a cool place, its my go-to coffee spot. Everyone is really cool there.
Rude, insulting, misogynistic owner. He went on a crazy insulting tyrade just because I pointed out that he had the wrong prices on an entire shelf of Cheetos. The dusty shelves, expired products and overpriced basics were already enough reason to skip this place, but the real jerk of an owner just drove me to encourage all Mt. Pleasant folks to give it a skip and go instead to the Brown Street Market or Best World.
Great convenient store and staff and good beer and wine selection.
Small square footage but a good selection with variety.
Limited variety, convenient store prices.
The owner of this shop is currently organizing customers to sign an anti-homeless petition. In a neighborhood where locals have long been priced out of their homes and housing is no longer affordable for many, a petition to build dividers on benches so that those without a home cannot have a place other than the ground to sleep is sickening. If the owner decides to stop organizing against the homeless, I will remove my review. Thanks.
Kedi knows what customer service means
Good staff nice offerings √win for me

I personally feel somewhat biased
