Not the best looking or attracting the highest caliber of clientele but friendly staff and inexpensive alcohol. If your a smoker throw you butt out half a block away or you can bet you will be harassed or even swindled for one. The store definitely needs a facelift and copious amounts of cosmetic work on the interior. To sum the place up in 2 words - neighborhood bodega.
Not a huge convenience store but still have lots of necessary stuffs like Beer & Wine. Lots of household items and also have tobacco and hookah related products. They have a DC lottery too.
The friendliest neighborhood service you will get.
This place probably has the cheapest beer at a deli in the U Street area. 6-packs are consistently $2 cheaper here than elsewhere. $5 for a 6-pack of Yuengling and $7-$9 for 6-packs of smaller batch/craft/international brews. Wine selection is mediocre and bit overpriced compared to Trader Joes, but it will work if youre in a pinch.
