This store tried to rip me off on cost. Once with a credit card, where they rung up an item as one price, and then added 2 dollars, and once with cash, where they gave back change missing a dollar. While its nice to have a corner store, this is really disappointing. Will never shop here again.
This neighborhood store has been a life-saver so many times. Great selection of quality products. Great chocolate too. Friendly staff!
Amazing place with great finds and staples.
So friendly! Great selection of high quality products and yummy chocolate. Glad to find a great neighborhood spot
At first I thought this store would value the community relationship of their worth in a marketing way instead of demonizing both business opportunities and other critics. I noticed that they posted color photocopy of two young apoc men on their door without phrases like warning theft or anything and my humble opinion is that the store is probably demonizing the intruding theft that took what ever they didnt pay for. The U First store feels the right to over do its demonizing characterization as suppose to focusing in the values and worth of the community and business. It is sad to see something like this happening again in Washington DC as to what happened to Windows Cafe just down the block. Later on people are going to accept this as as standard when it is not at all acceptable in a business policy else where. Pluss they are raising the prices for bread as windows did which gives them a discredit than a downgrade.
Friendly staff and surprisingly wide selection - once ABRA comes through with their license, adding a beer/wine selection will make it even better.
The best corner store in the neighborhood
My favorite corner store.
