I dont like to write bad reviews, I know mistakes happen and things take time. But I also feel that errors can be made right. We had our truck fixed at Dixie Diesel and I was glad that they were able to see us because all the other mechanic in the area couldnt. We were traveling across the country with our two small children and we ran into truck issues in Utah. We missed a big portion of our trip waiting on parts (not Dixie Diesels fault) but as we were stranded without a truck waiting, we had to continually call to check in on the truck- they didnt call us except once. After 12 days stranded in Utah (again not their fault) and a whole new rear end, we left for Idaho falls, and made it to Salt Lake City to pump gas and found our truck was spraying oil all over the camper and truck. Both wheels were filled with oil.we called Dixie diesel, they told us to get to a mechanic nearby, so we did. The mechanic explained to us that a part was not put on correctly and the new mechanic fixed the problem. We spent another week missing more of our trip, losing more money from reservations missed to wait on a part again. Another $500 later, we are on the road again and heading home. Again, I understand mistakes happen, Dixie Diesel said they would make the situation right if we sent a invoice to them, but we have not heard back from Dixie diesel since sending the invoice to them, to correct the problem that they caused about 300 miles up the road. Its now been two months and still no word or response from them.

Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful! Shout out to Josh who helped tow my 31ft RV up the drive so I could wait out the weekend in my camper, til they serviced it on Monday. They also ran gas to me when I ran out after leaving to fill up.

These guys are incredible! I came down from Salt Lake to pick up a trailer for a friend. About 5 minutes after getting on the freeway with the trailer, a plastic section of the intercooler piping burst. I called the dealer and the part is on national backorder. I was able to limp it back to Dixie Diesel. They called around and could not source one. He asked if I was just passing through and I told him I was on my way back to Salt Lake. The next thing I knew there were two more guys looking at my truck trying to figure out how to patch it to get me home. They came up with a plan and got me going again. Unfortunately it blew the pipe off the repair getting on the freeway. I called them up and they were at my truck in less than 5 minutes. After reinforcing it with some extra fasteners I was back on the road, and made it all the way back to Salt Lake without any problems. I would highly recommend them for anything you need done, they really care about the customer. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Fast affordable service! The shop foreman Jeremy Allred is awesome. He saved our vacation and kept us from being stranded!

These people are amazing! Rolled in there with a blown clutch. They analyzed the situation on the same afternoon and had me in the shop for repair the very next morning.No 4 day wait like most dealership repairs these days.

The guys at Dixie diesel are Great. Laid back, but get the job done. They also have a roadside assistance.

They very generously looked at my problem and sent me in my way without a bill and in a much less worried state.... later on ...Reduced review to 4 stars because when I got home my mechanic told me I really was badly in need of a brake job. Dixie missed out on $2900 or so... which maybe stings more than a 4 star review.

This is one of the best shops around. Knowledgeable and friendly staff that do good work. They honored my quoted price even after it took them more work than anticipated. Ill definitely be going back when I need work done on my Duramax.

Dixie Diesel is Great to work with. They found the problem & fixed my F350 the same day. Previously I took it to a few other places with no success.

I was towing a 5th wheel trailer and had issues and did a Google search of local repair shops in the area. Took the truck in 8:30 AM and explained the issues, along with the diagnostic codes. They suggested a simple solution, and had the job done by the end of the day. Wow! They were accurate, honest and had the job done so I could be back on the road the next day. They even provided curtesy transportation. Highly recommended, and would use them again.

The Dixie Diesel mechanic and shop foreman were diagnosing my truck before it was off the tow truck. Ten minutes later they told me the problem. I have an uncommon diesel truck, so they had to order parts, but they had me back on the road in less than 24 hours - at a fair price. Dont go anywhere else!

The only place I trust in town anymore. Im always treated like family. Every time I am there, there are locals who stop by just to say hi or hang out because of the good people who work there. Anytime I have a question, I know they can answer it because their mechanics are top notch. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Absolutely amazing customer service. Our bus broke down and caught on fire. They were quick to fix the bus and sent us on our way. We had some other unrelated problems down the road about 2 hours. I called Dixie diesel and they had someone come out to us and fix it for us and we were on our way within a couple of hours. Great service with people who care about doing right and helping other people. Honest and honorable. Thanks Dixie Diesel i dont know what we would have done without your help.

The water pump went bad on our rv while traveling thru St George. Fortunately it couldnt have picked a better place. The reviews you see about Dixie Diesel are accurate and thats why reviews are so important when you are a traveler. Family run biz since 1956, which was reflected in the manner we were treated. Owner Jeff, mechanic Nick were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Luckily part needed was in and we were on the road quicker than expected. We highly recommend this business.
