The lady at the from front counter on October 25 at11:00 am 2021 was very rude and disrespectful to the customers for no apparent reason she must had a bad morning I dont know her name but she was big and scary! Please dont waste your money
Rude staff. They will call you that your medication is ready but when you get there they can find it out. And they dont even apologize for the mistake 👎👎

If you’re feeling nostalgic and decide to use a film camera, don’t come here to get it developed. We took 27 pictures and only received 19 of them. But they were all terrible except 1 😂😂. And you don’t get the negatives back so memories are now lost. On top of that, it took a week longer than what they told us. It sounded like they forgot about them and then rushed them. Customer service was a mess also. Just overall trash to be honest.
Went to Walgreens on Rhode Island Avenue today and asked a couple representatives about the juices that were displayed on the shelf being available in a large quantity package, which I know they had because I picked up a few cases different times over past weeks. The representatives had the audacity to state in a nonchalant tone that I had to go down the various aisles and pick up the juices off the shelves if I want them. That was not possible because I needed a large amount and could not carry them by myself in individual bags. The representatives did not get up to check inventory in the back; they sat around chatting up front. The tone was very unprofessional and did not display high level of customer service. Perhaps I should consider taking my business to the competitor service of CVS! I will make sure I reach out to corporate to notify my experience.
Sadly the store manager Travelle takes customer service as a joke, he chose to be condescending and rude rather than a professional store manager. He was requested by PA for assistance and never came. I then had to stand in 2 lines because the item had no bar code so it wouldn’t scan and the manager never answered the call for assistance from the cashier. When I asked who the manager was, he boldly stated that he was, and that I could take a picture of his name at the front of the store or him. He placed the blame on the assistants in the pharmacy rather than resolve the problem. This store has consistently SUPER long and slow lines with employees and manager in the booth talking about personal business, which we all hear on the sales floor rather than them at the register. So for me to wait 45min in 2 lines and receive Horrible service is unacceptable! If the store manager provides this level of service…smhFekadi and Gamel are the only employees who go above and beyond consistently and provide exceptional service.

Lost a prescription and then pretended they never had it, wouldnt even look for it even though it was there the entire time. Horrible customer service, extremely rude people who dont want to do their jobs. They also never pick up their phones and have problems with handicap accessibility.
I called the pharmacy to ask an insurance question. They put me on hold and then hung up - 4 times so far. So frustrating! Please improve.

Terrible customer service. The woman behind the counter was rude. I came for a COVID test, she said I could not have a test without an appointment. So I said I’d like to make an appointment, she told me you can only do that online or over the phone. I told her I had already attempted that and it did not work. She told me to make an appointment online or over the phone. I clarified “to be clear, you are advising me to do something both of us know will not work”. She confirmed and added it was not her fault. I don’t care about fault or blame, I only care about results and customer service. I was given neither.If you are looking for a COVID test, I recommend you visit Remnant Christian Center. They provided me with a free COVID test with no need for an appointment. They were kind and helpful! Unlike this Walgreens.
I called on numerous times about something that was advertised for the Walgreens on Rhode Island. The associate gave me wrong information and then tried to tell me that I had the information wrong. Then whenever I asked to speak to the manager the associate hung up on me. Great store but very bad customer service.

Staff are friendly enough, but the lines are always long and move slowly. I have also had issues with the pharmacy re: not having my medication and lacking efficient service and problem-solving. This seems to be a larger Rite Aid brand issue rather than this store in particular. The shelves are well-stocked, the store is tidy, and prices as appropriately marked, so its an ok store. Ive taken my prescriptions elsewhere though.

What happen to customer service? You wont find it at this Rite Aid. I came in the store to get batteries for my blood sugar monitor and came across 2 employees that are in need of additional training in customer service. One employee told me they had the batteries but didnt even try to help me find the right one. At least he was honest. The other employee in the pharmacy just lied to me and said they didnt carry it and that I needed to go to a medical supply store to get it because that battery was very expensive. I went to CVS where I was helped by an employee there and was able to buy the correct battery for a few dollars. Thats the last time Im going to Rite Aid.
