I was delighted to hear that I could get a bottle of wine for one penny! It was a special promotion for International Womens Day on March 8, 2021. I thought it was a nice gesture. And the wine was decent ;-)

This needs to be your liquor store of choice! The owner is so sweet and caring. He was so genuine and friendly to me my first time in and recognized I was new to the neighborhood. Just goes to show how well he knows his regulars! This is a small business you want to support!

JP and all of the staff are so wonderful and friendly. Great selection, and reasonable prices. I mentioned they didnt have a whiskey I was looking for and JP ordered it while I was standing there! Its now always in stock. You cant get better service than that!

The owner is always so kind and helpful. I only come to him for my alcohol beverage needs. The prices are fair and not overly priced.

The owners and staff are always so welcoming and inclusive. When I first moved to the neighborhood, they welcomed me in and told me about events at their shop. For International Day of the Woman, they hosted an event to honor women. It was a nice celebration!

Such great people. The Annual 1 Cent Woman’s Day Wine Event at Downton Liquors went off without a hitch. What an asset to the neighborhood.

We grabbed a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants near Downtown Liquors then hopped into the store to grab a six pack and bottle of wine for home. Very friendly and helpful staff, great selections, clean store all in a superb location.
