Huge arena featuring diverse world class performances, modern amenities and easily accessible via public transport and large parking. The picturesque route along the Potomac overlooking the Watergate complex presents a great escape from the nearby urban congestion and excellent vista for that quintessential DC photo shot, especially at sunset. A great workout area for local residents with deep pockets;)
The ushers are very kind with people that have special physical needs. Kudos to them. The KC Cafe staff are very friendly and helpful as well. A big thanks to an employee name T (works in KC Cafe). Thanks for going above and beyond. Please present T with a commendation and place one in her personnel file.
Great experience. What a great tour of the place from our guide Ann. She took us to all the theaters and provided us great information. We also saw the Korean ❤️ to ❤️ orchestra at the millennium stage. Very memorable!
Kennedy Center was beautiful. Starting in the hallway at the entrance with the history of JFK on the walls and back to where the Opera House is where Hamilton was playing, the experience was awesome. Definitely go upstairs to the Terrace and walk all the way around the building and take in the sites of Washington!
The Temptations were awesome. One of the original guys was in the audience. Great seats. Pleasant and helpful ushers. Enjoyed watching the planes outside come in to land at Reagan Nationsl Airport during intermission. Perfect evening.
Well the shops are great! Books, postcards, music, jewelry, ornaments, tshirts, if you love the arts impossible not to find something. The whole experience of the Kennedy Center do not miss!! Opera, ballet, free shows on Millenium Stage daily, restaurant, cafeteria, views, history, culture, jazz, special events, student, senior, group specially priced tickets, handicapped accessible, parking is validated by the gift shop if you buy something for 30 minutes. $23 to park for a show.
I love the free events on the Millenium Stage. This is always a hit for out of town guests wanting to experience various locations in the city. We got really lucky with the Jazz Concert on Sunday.
Very nicely place and a great tour. The gift shop is also great. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the visit.
Its a gift shop. Its a good way to spend a few minutes during intermission. But unless youre dying to have some knick-knack with the Kennedy Center logo, or something vaguely musical, I wouldnt go out of my way to visit.
Great place for entertainment for the whole family. Speedy parking entering and exiting. Convenient online parking ticket purchasing makes life easier.
This is a wonderful place to go for any of their plethira of shows, musicals, music, or whatever else they have going on! If the playbook he Kennedy Center on it you know the show will be amazing. I cannot overstate, however, how bad the bathroom situation is during intermission. I got up to go to the bathroom for intermission and while I managed to barely slip into the mens room before the intermission ended my wife was not so fortunate. She had to wait until after the show. Snacks and beverages are similar to every other theater so while not exceptional they are what is needed. The gift shop is superb with not only Kennedy Center paraphernalia but also gifts directly pertaining to the show being put on that morning, evening, or night.
Nice gift spot, great staff. Could use more site-specific gift choices.
Amazing facility with many historical artifacts. The free guided tour really helps you appreciate the facility and the history.
Gorgeous shop full of art, music and dance gifts. Wonderful selection and immaculate shop!
Excelent service from the crew everywhere, no exeptions: at rhe restaurant, the bar, the theatee.
Great experience. All products were unique and affordable.
You MUST take the tour to really appreciate The Kennedy Center.
Beautiful background for pictures. Free events as well as Broadway shows. Great atmosphere.
Easy access and exit..heavy traffic moved efficiently. Opera Silent Night was amazing.
The Eisenhower theatre is set up so there isnt a bad seat in the house. Helpful staff. Grest as acoustics. Be sure to check out outdoor balcony/patio.
One of the places that I can tell they know exactly what they are doing, Staff was very helpful, place was clean and felt like a place you want to visit. I recommend and I know I am coming back to JFK center.
Somewhat expensive and the gifts are seasonal with the showings. The placement of the gift shop is convenient and the venue is gorgeous.
It has cute things that can be good gifts, they have products related to the plays. However, sometimes too expensive.
Many beautiful items in the shop.A great sale is going on.
Awesome items, great gifts but very overpriced... seems its well healed customers will probably pay the prices anyway.
Like almost everything else in the Kennedy Center, this gift shop is very nice and the prices are surprisingly affordable.
Beautiful items, but limited to Christmas and Nutcracker. A tad didappointing from previous events.
Staff were friendly here and the things available for sale seemed to be of pretty decent quality. As always, you can expect the theater merchandise here to be offered at a pretty significant markup, so make sure what youre buying is only available here.
Every time I go I have a memorable experience
Food at cafe is terrible. Not a necessary a big fan.
Best show related nic-nacs
This is a very nice giftshop. Right now Hamilton is playing so they have lots of Hamilton items.
Went to see SHEN YUN with granddaughters. Did not go into gift shop!
Visitors to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts should read John F. Kennedys four wonderful quotes engraved on the back wall of the building.
Top of the line merchandise if you can get in.
All that can be seen in 3 days.. I saw.. going again one day
Love the millennium stage concerts.
Great stuff, definitely pricey. Not very large.
Aint Too Proud, in the Eisenhower theater was awesome from beginning to end. Excellent performance!
Saw Hamilton - parking was easy, staff was well organized, show was phenomenal.
I hate Google Communist Censors Real Freedom Lovers
Nice items but a bit pricy!
Saw Hamilton in the Opera House. Incredible.
It was great but every thing in the gift shop is over priced
