I enjoy shopping at Schnucks in Washington, MO. They have nice a selection of food to choose from. I have the Schnucks app on my phone so that I can clip electronic coupons to use in the store while shopping. I also receive emails from Schnucks with delicious recipes attached. I highly recommend shopping at Schnucks in Washington, MO.

It was great. I found the hot and Spicy brats I was looking for. Will be back but its 40 miles from where I live. Dont go too often.

Love the rotisserie chicken (you can even buy bare ones and add what you love, or keep plain if you have a restricted diet like me). Lots of gluten free choices. Flowers, Boars Head brand meats, pharmacy, bank, fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery.

Always a great selection of fresh produce with many options. They also carry gluten free items but I wish they were in a more convenient spot other than the easily overlooked space across from the bank.

The staff is always helpful and friendly,The store is always clean and has ample parking.

The pork steaks in the bag are great. They also have fish and veggies also

Always clean and well staffed. Prices are higher than any other grocery store in the area though. Employees are more snobbish than helpful too. There is a branch of the local bank inside so it can be convenient at times for a quick duel purpose run(when the bank is actually open).

Most customers refuse to wear masks in store. Staff wears them but customers act like we are not in Pandemic.

Looking for a cake last minute. Kinda pricey-$20 for a quarter sheet cake. Wanted something written on it. The lady working behind the counter said she was new and had no experience writing on cakes. Actually didnt do too bad of a job.

Shopped in the store on 4/10/2021 and had one of the worst experiences in this store ever. Produce department was in need of serious attention, banana and corn on the cob displays empty. Meat is far more expensive here than any other store in Washington or any surrounding town. Still, you can do well if shop the ad and dont purchase meat.I spent about an hour and half to two hours in the store selecting my items for purchase. When we got to the check out, a cashier began rapidly scanning our items and slinging them to the end of the counter. She did not attempt to bag any of the items herself, nor did she attempt to get anyone to help. I tried to bag the items as quickly as she was throwing them, but my cart was still not emptied and so I had nowhere to put the bags. I asked the cashier if they no longer offered the service of having someone bag groceries for you and she just mumbled some ignorant response. At the risk of being a total Karen, I asked if there was a manager working. Cashier replies yes. And that was it! When I had finished bagging all of my groceries, with items ALSO being tossed off the other side of the belt, and this cashier just looking dumb-founded like how did that happen?, she finally says, do you want to talk to the manager? YES I want to talk to the manager.Once the manager came to the front of the store, and again, I asked, do you no longer offer the service of having someone bag your groceries? And received a sheepish answer, no, we do. Let me find out where they are. WHAT!?!?!? Look, the groceries are bagged now, I was rushed through the whole experience as if it were some kind of competition, and Ill repeat here what I said to the manager TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! It is easy to see how robots will replace useless employees. I can scan items myself, if Im going to have to do all the work anyway!! I deliberately stopped shopping at the huge competition store because of the lack of customer service, or lack of real employees, but at least, if you did find one, they would bag your items!! I realize my $200 means nothing to this company, but rest assured, it wont be spent here again.

I love shopping at Schnucks. The prices are very reasonable, and the employees very kind. The only thing I think they need to do is lower the shelves so that short people dont have a hard time reaching for things on the very top shelves. The way it is now, I have to look for someone to get the product down.

I’m smelled some of the meat product after a night out on the town and walked into the store and thought I was going to get some dairy to help my stomach instead I found myself through up all over the place due to the smell of produce and the couple making out as if the drive in movie theater came back into town it was awful and the couple never stopped to. See what the rest of the world was doing priceless..🧐

The store is always clean and well maintained and usually well stocked. Cashiers and baggers are helpful and polite.

Stopped in for Donuts for our Sons Birthday. They were amazing.I really like the way they have their check out lines set up. Social distancing, disinfecting and Customer Service is all on point. Thank you. 100% reccomend. Will shop

From what Im used to, the prices are high. The meat department only provides Certified Angus Beef, but they cant provide any proof that that cut of meat is actually from an Angus animal. They should be able to provide proper proof for the consumer. Some of the cuts taste and cut more like Holstein than Angus. The in store sausage is decent, and occasionally the value packs are actually a value. For everything else, go to Walmart.

We usually buy our wine here. Its a decent selection.

Good selection, though wish the hot deli area had more expanded choices. Price isnt always as low as the competition, but you pay more to get the better selection. As long as you dont go at peak hours, checkout wasnt too time consuming. Good store!

Although not the largest Schnucks it is adequate and clean. Great produce and deli!

I love to shop the sales! Especially meats! Got some gorgeous London broil and roasts for less than the price of hamburger! Prices tend to be higher than other places. But they have a real butcher shop complete with butchers! A rare thing these days.

A good store if you are looking for daily or hard to find items. Consistently good meat counter and produce. I think they have the only seafood counter in Washington. Definitely worth your time even if it isnt your only stop.

Excellent experience at Schnucks again. They do groceries right.

I went for only one reason. There is a new zero-alcohol Budweiser available only at Schnucks. Yeah. They had it. On sale $2.00 off. Good. But none in the beer cooler. It was all on an end cap with bottles of wine. DAMN! I wanted a cold beer for the drive home. I had to stop at McDonalds for a large cup of ice. Oh well. 😒 Ive had iced beer before. Thats okay.

Odd lay out but clean with really good selections

We shopped here because they had some specials and coupons that we could use. The store is clean and everything was stocked. Everything we buy is quality, even the Schnucks brand. The meat is fresh and looked great in the packages. I only bought what was on my list, so prices were comparable to other stores on those products. The Schnucks brand soda is fantastic and it was $2.50 a 12 pack.

Went to get Irish Soda Bread. And they had it!Surprise, Surprise. Mademy day alot easier.

I do love Schnucks. A little pricey, but the selection makes up for it.

Our go-to Schnucks. They have a wider selection within each grocery category than local big box store. We use them to complement our bulk purchases. A wee bit more expensive, but we dont have to settle.

Tried their home delivery for the first time. Their app works well and easy to navigate.What surprised me was the personal communication with the person picking my order. She had a couple of questions, all taken care of super quickly and efficiently.The delivery communications were also helpful.Just a terrific experience overall.

Bank of Washington has a branch in Schnucks,thats the only time i visit there, for banking needs.The last time i actually shopped at Schnucks, mw wife bought a piece of chicken from the deli and found a maggot inside of it..

So packed i waited in line for 30 minutes and couldnt wait any longer. I have cancer and cant stand that long.

Too many people shopping, and too little workers at the front.Although the selection here is top tier, the inconvenience of the COVID regulations makes quicki-mart, and its limited selections much more appealing.Sorry!

Love this store, its always clean, they have amazing produce, seafood, and meat. A great selection of products you cant find at other stores, and their health options are fantastic!!

Great place

My last time there they were the only ones in town that had cashew milk. Much lower in calories and tastes better. Walmart has a bad problem with keeping up with increases in popularity, apparently Target does too. Schnucks normally has it covered.

Found everything we needed. Shelves were well stocked except for paper products. Plenty of people stocking but they werent blocking the isles like other stores do. Every register had a cashier and they sanitized after every customer and they immediately called for the next person in line. Very impressed.

Its a decent store, the prices are a bit high but not as high as Dierbergs. The layout is confusing if you havent been in the store before and the staff werent the most friendly, except for the checkout ladies, one man walked by me and burped quite loudly, wiped his mouth, and walked away without an excuse me.Pretty good selection of produce but not a lot of fresh herbs (at least I couldnt find a lot). They do carry boars head which I love and make a few premade sandwiches out of it.I only gave 4 stars because it cant compete with the paragon of grocery stores that is Aldi. They also could stand to learn a few things from Hy-Vee about store layout and customer service.

It is one of my favorite grocery stores. They have some of the best sales that make them hard to beat. I try to shop there as often as I can but the closest one to me is 25 miles away.

Wasnt a typical experience. So many missing items. Bread. Etc. So silly. Life is not ending. Run on toilet paper. Cant eat it. Would of like to have seen Schnucks post notices. No need to buy the store out. Shame on them. Adding fuel to the fire.

Pandemic fear makes a disappointing shopping experience. Mandatory masks in this store. I couldnt hear or understand most of the staff today. The cleaning does make me feel better about putting my groceries on the belt but the carts dont appear to be sanitized.

I go there for all my large cuts of meat. Good cuts and can usually find it on sale.

As a business owner that serves food our employees must have the Hepatitis A shots series. Several of my employees went to Schnucks for these shots, they payed for the shots and were told to come back for the second shot and they payed for the series. Now that CVS has taken over as their pharmacy they increased the prices and are charging for the second shot and claiming they have no knowledge of the previous pharmacy policies. This is unethical and shows a complete loss of integrity not only for Schnucks but for CVS as well. I recommend that Schnuck customers leave this pharmacy and use Walgreens if possible.

Great shopping experience. The store is always clean and the food is fresh. Love that they have Boars Head meats in their deli. Bakery has fresh breads and the store has a wide selection without being huge. Recommend!

Best fried chicken in town ! And my cat food was at a better price !

I spent $42 today. I was over charged $5. I took my receipt back into the store. I waited at the service desk and was ignored. I went to the checkout for help and they sent someone over. So rude. I gave her the receipt and explained that i was over charged. No apology but she was more than happy to school me that not all varieties are on sale. I told her i was well aware of sales and pricing. I let her know that the items are marked on sale and the mistake was in their system. She rudely shoved my money across the counter. Thanks schnucks employees for the overcharge and rude schooling.

Every time I go there they never have any jalapeno and cheddar bratwurst.This week theyre on sale. The past five or six times they have not had any.When you get ready to pay you wait in a long line as they call people who are not paying because its their turn
