Great little shop if you’re looking for a gift. They have excellent options for baby, wedding, housewarming (adorable quilts), guys, or home cooks (they have a great selection of cookbooks). They also have cute cards and awesome smelling candles. Everything is beautifully arranged and the staff is always friendly. Four stars because it is a little on the pricy side.

Perfect place to grab a thoughtful gift for most any occasion

I had the best experience with Salt & Sundry. I wanted to send a little care package to a friend who lives nearby, and the lady who helped me was so great, so efficient, packed everything up and stuck it in a car to deliver. These are weird times, and it was so great to find a boutique that was willing to work with me remotely and send something to brighten someone elses day xo

This little spot is beautifully curated and has a wide selection of handcrafted trinkets for all kinds of people. Its quite expensive, with the cheapest thing I noticed being the greetings cards. The fabrics and tapestries all seemed incredibly high quality though so if youre someone to invest deep in your home goods this is a decent spot for doing that. They even have a section for baby/kids gifts!

The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The store has really cute home goods (barware, decorative kitchen supplies, cookbooks, candles). Its great for gifting. I also love that they carry some local DC goods. A little pricey but not crazy for the quality.

It seemed a little pricey, but they have a good collection of stuff for the home and more. I think this would be a great place to stop into if you need a gift in a pinch. Theres so many different things theres bound to be something for the person youre shopping for.

The best gifts and goodies in DC!

Such a wonderfully curated collection of goods. And so well designed. Its just such a pretty store. I found some building blocks for my godson that had the elements of the periodic table in them, instead of simply the alphabet. He loved them

Salt & Sundry is a great shopping stop along 14th Street. The shop strikes the right balance of whimsical and functional with its offerings -- mostly home goods. Lots of good gift options, and staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a visit if youre walking by!

This shop has pretty nice and cozy house items, plus pretty interesting cooking ingredients. It also has nice specific cooking books. Totally worth to check out.

This space is beautiful! I dare you to walk by and resist the urge to sneak a peek inside. This is the second S&S store in the area, and has all the great offerings of the Union Market flagship. Items are a but pricey, but its always fun to see whats new.

Little pretentious and pricey. Staff slightly aloof but seemed inexperienced in retail so might have been the day. Bought some nice home good here but could find similar products elsewhere for less. Tried purchasing hand towels for $40/2 towels only to find out one was stained. Girl at register try to use a shout wipe on it (?) and was gone for over 10 mins in the back trying to do so - so we walked out.

Cool shop with a wide assortment of a sundry. Some of the positioning of items can be a tad random at times, but surely theres a method to the madness.

Salt and Sundry is becoming one of DCs most beloved stores. With several locations across town, this one is located in the U Street District. Its a larger one room shop with any item a modern yuppie/hipster would want from cheeky greeting cards to craft cocktail syrups to modern cookbooks. A few things to note:1) They support local business, which means you can find all the top DC brands here from Harper Macaw chocolate to District Shrubs cocktail mixers.2) They sell a wide range of Swell water bottles in all different sizes and colors.3) If youre looking to buy a gift for a friend who likes to mix drinks, come here. They have fancy glasses to cocktail books to stirrers.The prices are a tad expensive, but definitely worth a visit to window shop.

All the coolest stuff you never knew you needed from boutique drink mixers and bitters to unique baby clothes. Need a gift in a pinch, theyve got you covered.

Great little kitchen/home store with friendly staff; was here to get a gift card and it was a very easy transaction.

If it wasnt being overpriced would make it 5 stars. Otherwise nice and convenient store.
