Kids loved it. I was looking for the creamy soft serve ice cream they used to sell. It wasnt the same. Otherwise I would have gave five stars.

I remember coming here when I was a child with my grandma. She has passed since but the memories we had going to go get a soft serve ice cream with her were some people f the best memories ever. And I took my son there the other day to make new memories like my grandma an I hope this place remains a staple in the community for years to come. Yours truly dedicated customer

Im so excited! They have simply natural creamery ice cream. This is the first time in my 38 years of life that I was able to eat their ice cream (lactose intolerant). Now I can enjoy a cone from a restaurant. ❤❤❤

Food was good and the ice cream was also good and reasonably priced. As far as the Cashier she had a rotten attitude towards the customers and myself. Id fire her if I was the owner. Most likely will go somewhere else to spend my money.

This place is one of the three Legendary food places in Washington NC best milkshakes, banana splits, you name it. Try it out and you wont be disappointed.

Its kinda like a hwy 55 and cookout in one, it has frozen custard and ice cream. The food is great and amazing, I would recommend it

Four stars because its a landmark, the staff is always nice, and the food is pretty good. I do wish they would get boats to put their banana splits in, it aint fit to eat all crowded up in a cup! Ill never order it again, but their burgers are great.

Switched to Jersey Cow lactose free milk. Easier to digest and causes fewer upsets. And the icream is delicious. You will love it.

I ordered a Grilled ham & cheese sandwich & fries. It was mediocre at best. On my last visit however, I had the chicken sandwich with cheese and it was much better. Also, I have ordered milkshakes & sodas previously & they are always delicious.

This location is strictly a drive-in the food is reasonably good, they have great soft ice cream. Most everything is reasonably priced.

Been stopping at the Dairy Palace on my trips to NC for over 30 years. Love this place! Clean, good service,, good food and great shakes at a reasonable price. In nice weather, we stop, grab some food and a shake and head to the Washington waterfront for a casual meal.

Classic style double cheeseburger l, crinkle fries and a chocolate milkshake was out of this world delicious. Prompt service, all items packed nicely and labeled and hot food ! Loved it so much we stopped back in from our outer banks trip 3 days later!!

Best grill in town.You can order anything off the menu anytime. Their hours are absolutely excellent. Theyre open before any other restaurant at 5 in the morning.

Did not have much to order on menu. I got a grilled cheese,and didnt eat it,bc it wasnt good! (Couldve made better at home!)I thought prices were WAY to high for their food&drinks! Tea tasted terrrible. I will not go there again!

One of my favorite places. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner... And dessert.The Dairy Palace Special with hamburger all the way, fries and a coke are the obvious good lunch deal. I always add cheese to these hand pattied burgers. (Thats how I roll)Order it up and take it to the waterfront to enjoy surrounded by Washington at its best...I love the crinkle cut fries while watching the world float by on the Pamlico River.Never fear! The Salt, Pepper, Napkins, and Ketchup are in the bottom of the bag waiting for you to slather on as you see fit.Go back for soft serve ice cream or a Sunday... Its just a short walk away.
