Uneducated and uninformed staff. I walked around and found what I was looking for faster than the staffing directed me to.

Jayce, Sean and Andrew in the lumber section of the Wasilla store were very helpful while selecting treated wood. All went out of there way to provide excellent customer service and made sure I found the correct boards needed for my project. These three guys are a credit to the store and deserve complimenting.

HD bought and removed my original review.The sold a septic tank out from under us. We checked the web site, we called, we went straight to customer service. Each time we were told it was in stock. As we are loading it into our truck the same sales woman comes out and tells us, AFTER we paid for it, that we can’t take it. Being the good citizens we are we didn’t take something be bought but got the full refund. The said they would transfer a 1000 from Kenai. We waited patiently for over a month for a call that never came. We called and they refused the transfer three times. They said the Kenai location had sold the 1000 gallon meant for us, yet again selling it out from under us. So then they said they would transfer one of the four 1500 gallon septic tanks. We waited again for over a month before contacting them. We went to the store this time. Wouldn’t know know it the septic the sold out from under us was still sitting there TWO months after we bought it. I just cried. Also Kenai still hasn’t shipped the septic tank.

Went in to get washer and dryer and they were out they sed try eagle river they sed they had them drove there and they did not and havent for a week or so.

Way better than than Lowes in price and Ive done my research they have more selection and value as far as I found out thats just one persons opinion.

Home Depot will always be my 1 stop shop for any construction needs. Im an Electrician and they have all the material I use. Not to mention theyre the only ones who carry Klein tools as well. Awesome!!

I bought a Whirlpool when they delivered it. They did not level the Refrigerator and they did not adjust the doors. What a poor job. Its sad you put out that much money. And this is what you bought.

Clean, not crowded, aisles well marked for likely products.

Lots of workers walking around but no one to help unless I wait 10 minutes got heavy item myself only use this store as last resort

Home Depot employees are extremely friendly and helpful to all of their customers!

Needed a new water heater. They said they did not have in stock the size we needed. So we got a different size. Went back the very next day and they had 3! Ended up costing about $300. More than what it should have. Price includes having to replum the system to get the different size heater hooked up.

Have to pick and choose their lumber and they have poor warranty on Husky hand tools unlike Craftsman.

Not as helpful as they used to be, prices not clearly marked. A great improvement is the isle and bay designation for finding items you want. Showing six in the inventory and having zero is not so great.

Home Depot will Only issue in store credit. If you do not have tbe oeiginal in store thermal printed receipt.Lowes is WAY BETTER!

Love this place its hard not walking out buying more then you needed

The employees were practicing social distancing and very respectful while wearing a mask. However, when you walk in there is a sign stating all customers need to wear a mask. Call me a “Karen” all you’d like but I was in the store for less than 30 min and counted seven customers not wearing masks and employees checking them out/walking by these customers without enforcing the rule. Why bother with the sign if the rules aren’t enforced. I was VERY uncomfortable and will do “pick up” from now on. We’re in the middle of a pandemic, take care of each other.

Went for a new Christmas 🎄 had help with it plus asked if I needed help with anything else I asked about a hot glue gun and had one in a blink great help at Wasilla store.

Went to the kids crafting day at home depot. They had lots of fun! Will be going again every 1st saturdays of the month!

Fairly poor phone menu if you call the store and even worse if you want to talk to someone. Worse still if you want to talk to someone knowledgeable. I had a question on ordering a $5000 tool box and after finally getting someone to talk to in customer service she said shed transfer me and she did... To tool rentals! That lady said shed transfer me and did... Phone rang and rang and rang. No answer. Was finally picked up by another lady in customer service. She put me on hold. Several minutes later I got picked up again, then transferred again. Once more the phone rang and rang and rang with no answer. 15 minutes into the call I gave up and hung up. One simple question about upgrading casters on a tool box and no one could answer it.

Very friendly staff. Some are helpful and ask if your doing good/ how your day is other just ignore everyone. Ladder placement is a major issue during the day times as they block most of the isles and make it difficult to shop. Otherwise good place to shop

Me and my dad have been coming here for a while now. While they have a fairly great selection, they need to be a bit more lenient on pricing.I bought a 2 wide steel pipe from them and had it cut down to 2.5ft, and the final price came to about $40. I wasnt completely unsatisfied with the purchase, it was used to add more leverage to a wrench. But why was the price so high? Why not price the material for how much was removed by each foot taken?Just a minor complaint, nevertheless this business provides anything you could need for a building project.

I was looking to replace the exterior doors on my home before it was painted. So I went into Home Depot the Thursday before Memorial Day to see about ordering some doors. When I spoke to the sales rep he told me that I would have the have measurements completed before I was able to pick out my doors and schedule my installation. After paying my $50 the sales rep told me that I should receive a call with 48hrs to schedule my measurements. What he failed to tell me is that it was actually 72 business hrs. Fast forward a few day later I finally get my measurements completed and I call to ensure that they are at the store so I don’t make a blank trip and the lady at the customer service desk tells me that no one is working in that department at the moment and that the next person isn’t scheduled to be in until 8am tomorrow. So I ask there is no one else that can help me with right now? She places me on hold for a few minutes and comes back just to say, “I spoke with my store manager and he said that that person is the only that can order doors for you.”What I truly don’t understand is that if you extend you store hours in the summer months to accommodate the insurance of customers then why isn’t the store staffed to the customer needs? The store is open from 6am-10pm and I was told that the person that worked millworks got off at 4:30pm. Why is there a gap in coverage from 4:30-10pm? Better yet why didn’t the Store Manager offer to assist me? I guess this just may be the last time I ever do business with Home Depot.

Was able to order a toilet sink online and have it delivered to store . The way they organize the items in the store are way more helpful then other stores .

Bought chainsas from them purchased a 2 year replacement warranty waste of money they wont honor it after 30 day I was told I have to send it to the manufacturer

If they picked a better politician to support maybe Id go more often.

Neat, tidy, employees do their jobs, and they always seem to have what I need in some way, shape, or form. Needed a spare key for my car with a very uncommon key, and they managed to make it work when other places in the valley couldnt give an answer.

I love Home Depot! I always have a great experience when I go there. I picked up planting supplies for our annual Easter party for the kids. The kids had a great time, and everyone was happy. What could you ask for!

Great but $7.10 for a 2x4 stud! That is over 3x the price for the same stud in Medford, OR!

The people who work here are always friendly and helpful. They dont always have what Im looking for and some of their prices are too high.I can buy a 5 gallon bucket for 4 dollars, but a 2 1/2 quart paint bucket without a handle is $2.50. A quarter sheet of 1/2 plywood is close to $23 and i can buy a full sheet for $30.I love the store, you have to watch what you buy.

Went to buy a washer and dryer, no specs or prices on any of them. Was told they were going to change prices tomorrow. Mind you this is only 4:30 in the afternoon. Only one person waiting on people. We ended up leaving. Lowes here we come.

Great place for home/business needs and more, but hard to find a customer service rep when you need one. Customer reps need more store knowledge. They do have a few gems who are very helpful.

The prices are much higher than Ace Hardware and the service is terrible. I think its about the same as Wal-Mart, no one around to help and if you want to check out you better do it yourself. After shopping here I wont return and will take my business to Ace. Returning anything is a real pain, the lady had such a condescending look and attitude its a wonder anyone shops here.

I love our Home Depot. It may not always be perfect due to how certain management runs the place, but most of the employees are knowledgeable and committed.

Last week Jose and his crew arrived to put new carpet and linoleum in our 5br3ba house. Jose is a man of few words but his focus is laser sharp and he leads a crew of exceptional young craftsman. They finished the job in a day and a half and even hammered the leg back on my broken couch. They did this job PERFECTLY. I mean, it was absolutely outstanding. The stairs look beautiful. It was a huge job and when they were done my house was perfectly swept and vacuumed and clean. They deserve a raise in pay because their work is the very best possible. They were so respectful and considerate. They are excellent examples in every way

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I like home depot. This store has everything you need except for knowledgeable customer service. They barely know where anything is let alone what a hammer is used for. Great place if you know what you are looking for but I wouldnt go there looking to gain experience.

Helpful staff, everything is easy to find & they have a great selection. I went there to order a pellet grill/smoker from their online store. It was one of the things they dont carry in store, but can order & have delivered to your local Home Depot. No S&H charges on the grill. Also they said it could take up to 6 weeks, but it arrived in a little less than 3 weeks.

Great experience. Stock on everything is really low, though.

Love this place

Another excellent place to buy garden equipment such as lawnmowers, tractors and log splitters. They also have an excellent end of season clearance sale. If you need paint, an excellent place to buy and receive discount on same.

Its really hard to find an employee to help with finding things, most of them dont know basic things about the store they work in. Other wise it is a well equipped store with staff where most employees are more friendly then others.

Wish they would get new customer service already.

Superb customer service, and I have to correct the one reviewer who said they dont give military discount. Well, I used to work for Home Depot several years ago and they stated in the training that HD has been and will always be a steadfast supporter of the military and will always offer military discount. Its one of the prime reasons I still shop there, not to mention I know the level of customer service training they receive. Good job #1304!!!
