Have had a turn of events a few years ago I was thought to be holding the store up... โnot the case of course the in past weeks we thought they were getting us โ๐ณ๐คHowever as with my first strange experience with IT works this one was resolved well and goodThanks to the The young man at the Wasilla branch โDaniel โ who happens to be a amazing young man he has been doing his best in these strange times to keep The Apples fresh!! Hopefully we get to have more good experiences in the years to come.
Terrible service. First, I take my laptop in for battery replacement and they say they will order it. But they donโt. Apparently, they need to run a test on it first, but they donโt call me to say so. When I call (three weeks later) to find out why the delay, they say to bring it in for a quick test then they can order it. So I do. When I get there, however, they say I have to leave the laptop or they wonโt order the part. Omg. Worst communication ever. Going to the Apple store next time. Worth the drive.
I had and old iphone 5 that I wanted set to factory setting so I could give it to my grandchild. It had a icloud account on it from someone we let use the phone. When they did the factory reset they did not clear the account so I still cant use it. They did not say anything about that. They ripped me off and I still cant use the phone never again will I go into that place.
Overall, my experience with iTWorks was a positive one. Though, as other reviews stated, there could be improvement in communication for what their customers can expect from them as an authorized Apple service provider (as opposed to working directly with Apple at the Apple Store in Anchorage), the customer service from their tech, Daniel, was impeccable. Even though it would be nice to have the immediate fix or replacement like we expect with AT&T or Apple, I was never overpromised and was given a realistic timeline for repair or replacement of my phone. Furthermore, having had to bring my toddler along to have iTWorks look at my phone, Daniel was fantastic with keeping her entertained and occupied while also taking care of my needs with my phone. I would definitely recommend iTWorks to those of us in the Valley who donโt want to drive into Anchorage or wait for an appointment with Apple!
I didnโt get his name, but the guy who helped me seems like he is more of an Apple genius than those at an Apple store. He managed to unbrick my brand new phone, update the software, and help me transfer everything wirelessly (which I didnโt know was possible). Plus I was able to get a same day appointment instead of having to wait 5 days. He also shared some of the cool things my phone can do now that itโs actually working. While I was there he also helped a few other customers and they all expressed how happy they were with the service. I would not hesitate to recommend iTWorks to my friends/co-workers/random strangers.
I think they know what they are doing in there but they simply dont call back after saying they will. I think they just need a better internal communication protocol or way of tracking a job status. Count on calling and checking in on your device periodically.
It works have always been my go to guys when I have issues with any of my devices and always done perfect. The one time I wasnt completely satisfied, the owner John took personal responsibility to make sure it was resolved with upmost urgency. Every business in every industry makes mistake, the true measure of a company is how they resolve those mistakes. With that said, they performed flawlessly. And have earned my business for life, and also a great recommendation too the 35,000 clients I assist every year. Great job guys
I have been fighting with my Mac Pro all year, and even had the folks at the Apple Store dig into it and replace parts, to no avail. ITWorks fixed it! Now it is blazing fast like it was supposed to be. Fortunately it is still under warranty, so the repair was free, too.The main reason I felt compelled to review was that I really, really needed the computer back by a certain date for some broadcasts, and they got it done in time! Plus they were also understanding and nice about it, which I appreciated.
Dropped my phone off to be fixed and they said 2-4 days and I could get my phone back, then went in after 4 days and the kid said that he sent my phone to apple and I wouldnt have it back for another 4 days so I went in today to pick my phone up and he said that its still with apple and he has no clue when I can get it back. Truth is dont trust these guys with your device and do not give your phone to them or pay for priority for it to be done faster cuz thats a big lie also๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
Great place to go assuming you dont need your device for 2+ weeks
Well they say they are certified but I brought in iPhone 6 and they said they dont fix 6s screen ?you have to send in so I guess they dont fix everything then brought in a iPhone 5 because it wouldnt charge when plugged in they said they would call me in 2 hours that day never did then called back next day really late told me that it was fried and couldnt replace it so what can they replace and charged me 35 bucks and something about they dont do 3rd party replacement and when I came to get phone just handed me phone not even a thnx for coming in have a nice day they said try replacing the charge port but I guess they couldnt do that he said
DONT GO HERE! I went in on the 31st of July to have my phone disagnosed. It takes an Apple agent two seconds to do this. It took them 6 days and they still didnโt disagnoise it. I was told they would take 1-2 days to do and because I didnโt know better I agreed. They didnโt even call after two days to update me. I had to cal them and they told me it was sitting on a desk and hadnโt been looked at. This was on the 6th of August. They charge a $36 fee to just diagnose it and an extra $20 if you want it done by the end of the day. Apple Store doesnโt charge anything to do it much less sooner than a whole day. I told them I wanted a refund because I paid to have it serviced in two to three days and they told me I could get a return but they wouldnโt diagnose it. Honestly worst way to make up for the 6 days of being phoneless. I was where I started. Apple Store allows walk ins. I went there today without an appointment and it took almost three hours but that was so much better than ITWORKS because it was free to diagnose and so much better. Go to the Apple store and save yourself some money and a lot of time.
Was able to help when my friend phone crashed
Came on Friday from Anchorage to get a iPhone battery replacement and they told me they couldnโt do it that day and to come the next week and theyโd do it. Drove here again on Monday to get it and asked if they could get it done in two hours and got turned away again. Waste of time and money, Iโve got a busy schedule and all the other battery replacement places have no availability. Do not come here. Unless you live in wasilla get prepared for disappointment.
Always helpful if I go in or call.
Always helpful.
I called to see if they had a replacement battery for my phone. I was told they had it in stock but when I showed up 30 minutes later I was told they did not have the battery.
