I absolutely loved this place! We needed to look into an emergency screen repair for a laptop after our son threw it on the floor. Marcus was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately he couldnt get our screen repaired or replaced but he did get us a very similar replacement laptop for cheaper than it would have been to fix the screen.The service was relatively fast for only having two employees that day and a data move from the old computer to the new one was included at no charge.Marcus was super helpful in that he let us take the laptop home one night for classes and bring it back the next day to do the data migration. Also, he was friendly to my toddler who was getting a little antsy at the end of our visit.Ill definitely be recommending this place to others and coming back if I ever need device repair!

I accidentally left my phone in my pants when I threw them in the washer. When I came back 45 mins later, I found the phone completely dead and mostly dry from the washer spin cycle. I left it in rice over night and nothing happened. It was completely dead. Took it to Kiwk phone repair just down the street. They told me it was completely dead, tried to sell me a new phone. Figured Id give CPR a try. They called me a few hours later, told me it was repairable and gave me a quote. An hour later it was as good as new. Saved all my files and pictures. Cant thank them enough!

I took my Microsoft Surface to CPR Cell Phone Repair for them to replace the battery... Which isnt simple on that device. Once they received the replacement part, they promptly replaced the battery, and verified the battery would fully charge. They communicated with me through the process. I was pleased with their work.

My iPad tablet had a crack on the screen due to an accident with dropping it on the floor. I called CPR Repair shop prior to coming in and they stated that they had the parts and asked if I would like to bring it in. I brought it in on Saturday morning and was greeted by Marcus. He was very professional and even recommended to get a screen protector to avoid or reduce cracks in the future. He even adjusted the new screen to fit the tiny camera view on my iPad. I love the new screen and it even make the iPad look brand new. I am definitely recommending them. The new screen placement does take about 2 and a half hours so it would be better to drop it off earlier in the day to get it quickly repaired. They are cheaper than going to the Apple Store.

SCAM ALERT : CPR Cell Phone repair quoted us a price of 139 for an iPhone X screen. When we picked it up they wanted 210 because it was an XS. That is 150% higher! I called several other repair facilities and their prices are significantly cheaper. They offered to lower it to 169 plus tax but then said the total was 186. Thats like 10% tax not 8.25%! That is tax fraud! Beware, Beware, Beware! Remember when they fix your phone they need your pin and you are giving them access All sorts of private info. Go to someone you can trust!Reply to owner: If you need more information about the phone to give a correct quote, ask for it, you are the expert right? Also if your quote changes you dont just do the work and expect the customer to pay it, which is what you did. The original charge after tax was 205. You said you would take an additional 30 off, then said it would be 185.68. Thats 20 not 30!! I had already gotten quotes of 159 from 2 other shops. I felt the offer 170 total was fair given what others have quoted. I just wish I had not wasted my time with you scam artists! Buyer beware I guess, but this review is going on alot of different places. Already had several replies on another app.

I spent thousands of dollars here on a laptop in 2020, and while CPR/Protechs was in the care, custody and control of my computer I had over $3,000 transferred out of my bank account. I filed a report with the city of Watauga. The owner Bill is aware of the situation and did not care about the issue. He asked me for an IP address but Wells Fargo would not release that information. Bill acted like he did not believe me and that this was “my fault” after I attempted to discuss this with him. Do not use this place, they will take your money and you will have no way of getting it back. Yes Bill, if I bought 0 of your products and used your company for NO services, I would have had a 0% chance of having these issues!

Went in to fix a broken screen on a galaxy A21, a 200 dollar phone. They charged me 110 dollars to replace screen. Phone was working perfectly fine before bringing in, I was just tired of a broken screen. The moment I picked up phone the mobile network was not working, my calls were dropping, all very frustrating. I tried to fix the problem through my mobile service provider. Went into Metro by TMobile store multiple times to fix network and they couldnt fix it. This persisted for a week. During that week I was in contact with CPR, 377 location, I spoke to Marcus frequently. I kept them in the loop and even let them take the phone apart a second time to diagnose it . He said it was working perfectly fine. My guess is because the store is conveniently right next to metro. I went in to try to get a refund, I waited in line for over an hour while Marcus dealt with one customer before me, 7 more people got in line behind me. After the longest wiat time I have ever had, I only asked for a refund on labor not the screen itself. Marcus told me to call Bill the owner. Right after seeing Marcus I went to Metro right next door and bought a new phone because at this point it was affecting my business. I take the new phone home and network is working flawlessly. I called Bill this morning to explain my situation and try to get a refund on labor. He told me they dont do refunds and when I mentioned I would write a bad review about their terrible service, he got very offended and hung up on me. Long story short, save yourself the hassle and your money. There are better businesses in the DFW. Definitely would NOT recommend.

They replaced the crack glass on my iPhone and it would not work. They tried to blame it on the phone malfunctioning... three hours later they had replaced the old glass and the phone worked fine. Really bad experience.

The staff were friendly and very attentive. They resolved my problem right away which was a tiny jam in the charging port not allowing it to charge. I will definitely go back if I other issues in the future.

DO NOT USE-!!!!!!!!!!! I took my sons IPhone 10 Max in yesterday (located on Hwy 377 in Watauga) to get the screen fixed from cracks. I PAID $300 yesterday (not even 24 hours ago) and it broke in my sons pocket today, while seated, and they will not help me. It is another $300????????? These people do not have any type of ethics, period when it comes to business. The owner told me that he cannot provide a 24 hour warranty because his customers would walk out of his store and throw phone on ground, just to get it fixed again. I assured him that his store, policy or business practices (or lack there of) no customer wants to deal with his business or him again. There are way too many of these businesses out there to deal with shady owners.

Utilized this service Spring 18...My Samsung Galaxy S6 had been broken (LCD bleed) for 2 years when I brought it to this team. Their customer service was great and they had it repaired within a couple of days. A day or two after repair, there was some kind of glitch in which my screen would randomly go dark. I took it back to them, and the tech fixed it again as we stood there at the counter (not sure he had to do much). But again, they were kind, quick, and efficient. I paid what I expected to pay for this kind of fix/speed. I am still using the same phone!

Quick easy very kind

I was referred to Pro-Techs by a friend who was pleased with the honesty they showed her. Marcus could have sold her a battery but was honest letting her know that it was a bigger issue than just a battery and a newer phone was needed. I could have gone to several local places by me but after the positive feedback from a friend I knew Pro-Techs was who I was going to use to fix the screen on my iPhone. Marcus was very knowledgeable, honest and quick. I was out the door in under 30min. What sets them apart from other similar businesses was the price, warranty offered and helpfulness. The Watauga location/Marcus will be my go to for all computer and cell phone repairs.

I dropped of my computer to find out why it wouldnt boot up. They said they would look at it in an hour or so. Two days later I was told I could come pick it up....it was completely disassembled, and the recommendation was to replace the motherboard, and maybe the processor. Then they offered to sell me a computer they had built for $1300. No thanks. At least it was only $27.

I have one plus device and for the most part stores, especially chain ones wont even touch one plus phones but they immediately said yes when i asked. They ordered my screen and they had it on within two days. Unfortunately the screen was faulty and they were very apologetic and professional about it. Pro Tech repaired my cell phone screen in one hour for the lowest price of everywhere I called. It was not a very popular phone and most places I called told me they needed three or four days to order the screen as its not something they stock in store. ProTech had me in and out the door in one hour. They also helped me on a motherboard transfer cell-to-cell. It turned out the motherboard was damaged so the process was not completed but Protech refused to charge me anything when I tried to pay something for their time. I wont waste time calling and checking anywhere else for my cell phone and computer repairs in the future Ill always go straight to ProTech.

EDITING a year or so later.I have a line running through my screen, and considering I had my laptop for years before it got cracked and needed repair, I feel that the new screen should have lasted longer. I havent dropped my laptop or mistreated it so I cant see why this is happening. Its still very usable, just annoying, and I definitely wish I had gone elsewhere for the initial repair. Downgrading review.I sure wish the customer service everyone is raving about was shown to me...I dropped my laptop off on a Friday because the screen was cracked and I also had some weird things going on where stuff was loading in the background and drop-downs didnt work (clearly I infected my poor laptop), the person working took down my info and promised to call me. Instead I had to call the next day when I was told they mixed me up with someone else who already authorized the repair so they did it to my laptop (I mean--I did intend on them fixing my screen but that still seems shady since then Id be on the hook for something I didnt authorize), and then when I mentioned the potential virus or rootkit or whatever the guy on the phone acted like he had no idea what I was talking about but said he guessed they could look into it...then nothing (so they basically kept my laptop all weekend, which is whatever I guess, I really didnt need it) had to call on Monday for an update when they said they were running the scan. They did a fine job repairing the screen but my complaint is the $80 virus removal charge....for $80 they googled around for removal programs and left the tabs open on my browser for the program they found and didnt actually install anything from what I can see, in fact I have the same problem. So I may as well have taken $80 from the ATM and lit it on fire for all the good it did. But they did a fine job replacing the screen, so if you need screen repair and dont mind having to request updates yourself (since they wont actually call like they say they will apparently) go for it I guess...just dont bother with anything else as its a waste of money. Sad because they are close by with glowing reviews, I wish I could have given a nice review too. Oh well.
