Its ok. Out dated items everywhere, no dates on frozen meats like black chickens, or pork bones. Lots of molded foods for $1. Live crabs and crayfish just dumped into bin with no water, crammed on top of each other, animal cruelty. Smells awful. Refrigerator section is the only thing we like. Somewhat fresh produce and meat items at a good price. Staff needs to be friendly to customers instead of ignore them.

Great place to shop, they have a few ingredients you dont usually find in the super markets, the people are very nice and they serve everyone with respect. I would definitely be recommending this place to anyone who is interested in buying groceries, specially if you are looking for Chinese groceries..in general great place..

Awesome selection! Prices are wonderful! This is a very nice Asian grocery store. It doesnt have the variety of a dong in West Hartford, buy is more then adequate. The staff is great, and they have great deals. Plus you can get a giant jar of kimchi here! They offer many different ethnicities specific products from all across Asia and beyond. A wonderful store!

For its location it has a pretty decent variety of quality fresh produce and Asian staples, and at reasonable prices. Not particularly friendly staff, but that didnt bother us.

At this place, the staff are courteous. Items are very cheap since they are closing out. I got some teaching supplies cheap and sweet. Please, teachers check out this store for your teaching needs. Social distancing and mask wearing was evident.

Today was my first time shopping at Super Q Market, and what a pleasant surprise. They have everything, from an entire row filled with every type of ramen imaginable, to delicious kimchi, dumplings, fruits and vegetables, meats: the variety of items is endless! The prices are incredible, too: I bought 2-64 ounce huge jars of kimchi ($6.99 per jar; a 14 ounce jar at Target is $5.99), a 4 pack of imported Paldo Jjajangmen Ramen ($5.99; same item is $14.00 on Amazon), and 2 huge 21 ounce bags of Pork, Shrimp, and Spinach Dumplings ($6.99 each; similar item at Walmart is $3.97 for a 9 oz. package and theyre NOT good). Grand total : $34.99, WOW 👏.Someone left a review stating that this store is closing out. I asked the owner/cashier, and she laughed and said no, so they arent going out of business any time soon. This store is a hidden gem for the Waterbury area, and I highly recommend that everyone reading this patronize this supermarket, even if you dont love Asian cooking. BTW: They take all of the major credit cards, and its not crowded: important, especially during this pandemic.Theres something here for everyone, and the prices are fantastic!

Produce is very often mislabeled.

Fresh produce which tastes as it should... I wouldnt compare it with Chinese markets in Brooklyn but this is more than adequate. You do find varieties of frozen foods and fish unlike fresh fish in Brooklyn(dont know why Im comparing but I guess for those who have seen bot I guess?) stores. You can find ocra, Karela, bitter melon, Daikon radish, Turnips, Turnip greens and mustard greens... easily the kind of stuff that you wouldnt find in local supermarkets. There is and assortment of rice, flour and spices in the aisles. Though every once in a while youll find stuff unique to Target of all places... if youre into tea then this is your place... everything that should or shouldnt be called a tea is here... enjoy!Update 07/01/21I like buying and supporting local businesses however pricing stuff arbitrarily or by looking at or judging client is plain and simple dishonest. A $2.00 difference will not put a dent on my wallet but will certainly make me apprehensive.So people when the cashier doesnt scan the item and instead charge what they feel like ... do get a second opinion, if you so choose.

Unsanitary look and feeling inside. Looks horrible messy at the registers, behind the registers and where it use to be a FRESH sea food or meat section to the far LEFT corner of the business.

Always get a few products, but always has to double check the receipt. Once was overcharged $10.

Rude service. Cashier was literally holding a casual cell phone conversation the entire time I was in the store and didn’t even pause to handle my transaction, just kept her conversation going. Passes me my bag without even looking or saying a word to me. They have a decent selection of products, but the staff is usually unfriendly, and this experience was no exception. Unfortunately, with such poor customer service I can’t give more than one star.

First time there today, small space but pleasant. I wish they had a scale to weigh fruits and veggies for customers. Other than that, prices are a lot more reasonable than other markets.

I like that they have variety of products but the lady at the cashier is so rude that she didn’t even acknowledge my thankyou after she handed over me the receipt and it completely threw me off. First time it happened I thought she was very busy, second time i found it little rude and third time it happened again and i have decided not to go there again ever. That’s not how you treat your customers.

Things that you can find in a supermarket., But allot of thing are moldy in packages looked fresh noodles. Meats are brown. But prepackaged things are safe. Keep an eye on the register

Went in for tofu so find a very small selection; only soft, med, & seasoned. Dry bean labeled with a per lb price, but no labeling to identify the weight of each store-bagged pouch. I naively assumed each puch was a lb, I was wrong. I doubt I will shop here in the future.

Recommend this store for anyone interested in Asian cooking and foods. New, spacious retail space after moving from a tiny store in Spring 2018. This has expanded their stock and we can find a wider array of items for Asian cooking. Now rivals Asian grocery stores in bigger cities (i.e. we don’t have to travel to Hartford or New Haven any longe!). Prices are comparable or better, too. Some fruits and vegetables were priced lower than at local supermarkets or Jarjura’s (local produce store).
