OK, first off what a great place/people. So I seen this 2001 F350 7.3 that I was highly interested in. So I sent an inquiry. Got a phone call the next day! Im in NY and could not travel then. So I asked if they deliver and he said yes! I was jumping for joy! Called him later on and asked about a bank check payment. I dealt with Bob, he took me through the whole process with there info and his info, he emailed me the bill of sale and which i had to sign. Sent them back and got approved! Mailed him a check yesterday and I will have my truck delivered to my door this week! Bob knows what he is talking about and will do business with them again. Gotta love Atlantic Motors!

My father purchased a vehicle from this dealer in March. It is now May and we have yet to receive the title. Upon inquiring about the title early last week, I was informed that the title had been sent and to inquire the following Monday, if the title was still not received. The title was not received. I inquired the following Tuesday and was told that the title was sent out. I requested for confirmation of the address that it was sent to and was told they were too busy right now and for me to call back. I called back again and was transferred over to Anthony, who, upon confirming the address, I had found out had sent the title to the wrong address. Anthony informed me that he would contact the post office to see if he can get an address change. He also stated that he would text me the tracking number in several minutes. I never received a tracking number text. I also requested that he call back to follow up regarding the address change. That was around noon. I called back at 16:00 (4:00 p.m.) to follow up, as I had not received a call back. The employee who picked up the phone this time informed me that the title was sent out yesterday. (a week and a day from when I initially followed up on the title to also be told that the title had been sent out already) After requesting to speak with someone familiar with my fathers purchase, I was informed that everyone had left already because they close at 4:30pm. I told him that it was only 4:00pm- he continued to state that it was slow, so everyone went home early. I informed him of the situation and that I was waiting for a confirmation that the address was corrected. He told me that if they said it was sent out that it was probably sent out. The response from the employees of this dealership seem incredibly inconsistent and unprofessional. Furthermore, I do not appreciate deceptive statements that the title was sent out, when, in fact, they had done no such thing. I will be consulting with my attorney to resolve this issue. I strongly encourage that you practice caution if dealing with these people. I would not suggest purchasing a vehicle from this dealer.

March 26, 2015...I believe this is family business. I havent been back for a year but I was so impressed not only by their service but by their warm and friendly and helpful staff. I went there for a ford truck. The best deal and best truck got from there. trust them absolutely.

SCAMMERS! CON ARTISTS! BBB GAVE THEM 1 STAR!I wouldnt even give this place 1 star, but thats the only way I could leave a review to hopefully deter you from going to Atlantic Motors. My 16 year-old son took almost his entire life savings, $19,000, to buy a 2007 Ford F-250 with 134,000 miles from them. We asked for the Car Fax for this truck; however, they told us that their printer was broken so they couldnt supply us with one. They did show us the Car Fax on the computer but never scrolled down far enough to expose the actual mileage. We went to pick up the truck today, but prior to making the trip from Stamford, my sons father printed the Car Fax showing that this truck actually had 234,000!! We still made the trip to give them the benefit of the doubt. Upon arrival, the salesman. Bob, said Guess what I found? A few days ago, I found the Car Fax for this truck in the glove compartment. The previous owner must have left it in the glove compartment. and he hands it to my sons Dad. The mileage on the Car Fax he gave us said the mileage was 134,000. And he couldnt have found it a few days ago in the trucks glove compartment because it said right there in black and white that this particular Car Fax was printed today, February 11, at 11:06 a.m. by Atlantic Motors. My sons Dad asked him to print out the exact Car Fax he gave us. He attempted but said he didnt have the password for any of the computers. And Bob is the owner! He didnt have any of the passwords?? I think not. 🤔 Needless to say, we did NOT buy this truck.If they were going to rip off a 16-year old, I dont think theyll stop at anything. Please, I highly recommend that you do not purchase any vehicle from Atlantic Motors or have any dealings with them. Youve been warned!!

Giving this place one star is generous. We drove an hour to come look at a yellow ford ranger. Truck was beautiful. Only to find out that this pretty truck that they want 13,000 $ for has a ROTTED frame. Employee tried to tell us its the north east and surface rust is normal. WELL if their employees actually took the time to look at this so called surface rust They would see the giant hole that we could stick our hands through behind the left rear tire. Such a joke dont bother doing business here.

Horrible experience. I bought a 2005 dodge 3500, within a week the exhaust fell apart brought it back to them twice and it fell apart again, within 2 weeks the power steering pump broke leaving me stranded during a storm, they wouldnt fix that, within three weeks the plow they gave me fell apart cause they just paint over the rust, and now the truck cant run because it needs 6 new injectors and 2400 dollars worth of work and they will not help at all. BE AWARE DONT BUY FROM HERE !!!!!!!

The owner Bob is an absolute slimeball and will do whatever it takes to get you separated form your money. Make sure you know what youre looking for and look the trucks over really well. A lot of these trucks are rusted out and Incredibly neglected pictures do them no justice. Buyer beware.

Horrible! Went for a test drive in one of their trucks, and 2 minutes in the test drive the breaks completely seize on all 4 tires. It took 2 of their workers 45 minutes to pick my girlfriend and I up from the truck we were test driving(3 roads over). Once I got back I spoke to a sales guy and told him once the truck got fixed I would happily come back and take it for another test drive, his response to me was, put a down payment, I refused to do so, and he came back and said the truck wont get fixed for months if I dont put a down payment. I was completely shocked by this experience. Not to mention 60% of their trucks in their lot had 1 flat tire on them. Trucks were not vacuumed or cleaned. Very shocking experience . Would not recommend it.

Drove 12 hour for a rust free perfect running f450 got there wouldnt start when they got it started it was pouring transmission fluid out of a broken line. Very rude would not return deposit.

Writing this for my brother, This place is a JOKE !! Led me on the past few weeks regarding 2 different Ford Trucks. They just lie and play games. I believed I was picking my truck up today since paperwork is completed, told loan is all set, they have my binder and insurance proof and so forth and nope, not happening cause of a so called lien and other problems on the truck. Chalk it up as complete bullshit. They should not be in business !!!!!!

DISHONEST. I checked out the same truck as the person below me, 50,000 miles on a 2003 Durmax seems a little to good to be true. I checked the car fax and behold, evidence that the odometer had been tampered with. For some reason I still went and took the truck for a test drive, the truck did drive okay however the interior was atrocious, holes in the doors, a missing crank to open/close the window, blinkers needed to be replaced, the tank was empty and the aftermarket radio didnt fit nor even work. Before the test drive I walked the lot for a good 10 mins and no one approached me, so i went inside where there were three guys, all seemed pretty apathetic towards me, I was seriously considering buying the truck if they could give a good reason as to what happened with the odometer. Instead, after test driving the truck 9no one even came with me) and asking for a car fax, they all looked at each other, deer in a head lights look and then one finally said the car fax website was down. ARE YOU KIDDING? I had checked the site not a few hours before, if this is how they do their business then may god help anyone who buys a vehicle from them. I wouldnt have even bothered to leave this review had they not come up with such a terrible way to handle the situation. I pray this truck is an outlier in hopefully what is a generally good lot of vehicles, but meeting the sales people and the general vibe and overall experience made it seem like it really is not all that uncommon. Terrible experience overall. 95% of the vehicles on the lot had well over 100,000 miles, they need to seriously change the way they do business.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages.... I drove 2 hours to go look at a low mileage dodge truck that they described to be in near perfect condition. I asked them if the truck was available to take a test drive before I took a day out of work to drive there. They told me the truck would most likely be sold unless I left a 500 dollar deposit with them over the phone. So I did, taking their word that the truck was in excellent condition.I arrived there and the truck was repainted and clearly in an a couple accidents due to miss matched door and fender parts. The truck was soo severely rusted on its frame there was a hole the size of a golf ball in both frame rails near the steering box.I was absolutely disgusted, i cant believe these people have no shame or any sort of integrity. If you are not a professional mechanic then please dont bother with these guys, you will be lied to.I luckily did get my deposit back.

Came here to simply test drive a few vehicles with my friend that is looking to buy a new truck. They did not pressure us at all at any step of the process. I arrived about 45 minutes earlier than my friend and browsed the outside and inside selection of trucks...not once did any salesman walk up to me to ask if I needed help. In one sense this was a good thing, but in another sense, if I was the one that was looking to buy the truck and had a question, it would have been a bad thing.It was also a little strange that none of the trucks had any prices on them, luckily you can look up their asking prices on their website, while walking around. In some instances you will see trucks on the lot that arent on the website, and some that are on the website, but not on the lot. Dont panic, this is typical with all dealerships.I had pres-elected a truck for my friend to drive upon arrival and by the time the truck was ready my friend showed up. We both presented our driver license and a dealer plate was given to us to test drive the truck.We walked outside and upon inspection of the 1st truck, I noticed the front bumper had a large maybe 2 foot piece missing from the bottom section of it.The salesman does not go on any of the test drives with us. Following the test drive, we found the salesman and he said the bumper would be fixed by their service team if we were interested in the car. You can also put down a $500 deposit to hold any car while this process is being done.We then picked 2 additional cars to drive that were not damaged or wrecked thankfully and enjoyed driving them with no salesman since they were both manual trucks.Their schedule says they were open til 5 weekdays, but its actually 7pm. They let us test drive vehicles until nearly 730 pm though which was cool.Upon the test drive we end up putting a deposit on the truck and picked it up the next day with the new bumper put on! Over all our experience was positive with these fellas. They seem to have what a lot of dealer do not and that is why we came to them.

Junk, Junk, Junk. STAY AWAY!!! Took forever to get pickup delivered and when it showed up not only was it a huge rust bucket, but service engine light was flashing and was not in driving condition. Pickup was misrepresented and they did nothing to make it right. Had to sell the pickup for salvage value only. Huge mistake the day I did business with Atlantic Motors. STAY AWAY!!!

SCAMMERS. Put down a REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT on a truck that I said I may be interested in but Im not sure yet. They said they still had to go through the whole truck. The ad stated the Duramax was a LBZ but it was an LB7. The truck had anti lock brake light on check engine and the brake light on. After not hearing from them for 3 weeks I called. They had no idea who I was or what truck I was looking at. They told me they havent even looked yet. After not hearing from them for another almost month I called today. I asked for my REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT back and they said why, I said Im no longer interested in the truck, they said well why dont you want it, I said I just dont want it anymore give me my money back, they responded with okay no, have a good day and hung up. NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THESE IDIOTS.

Just took a 3 hour ride with my friend to look at a GMC 2500 at Atlantic motors in Waterbury CN. We met with Bob and talked for a couple of minutes about the trucks on the lot. Unfortunately the one we drove 150 miles for was locked and they didnt have any keys for it. Believe that??? A truck that they just bought from an auction that THEY drove and put on their lot yesterday has no keys. After asking a few questions, Bob said the truck, a 2012 GMC had 84k miles and they had not had an opportunity to go through the truck yet. (We are not sure what he meant by that)My friend went outside to look at the vin through the window and pulled the carfax to find out the truck had 184k miles instead. We checked the vin on a second truck as well to compare with the miles described by Bob and again, 100k miles off. We asked them to pull the carfax and just started giving every excuse as to why they couldnt. They seemed to get very defensive when questuone about the carfax and mileage. They seem very shady. I would never give them my hard earned money. Stay away!!

Turns out the truck came from upstate mass and was nothing but a rust bucket. They did dum dum work and used putty to cover up rusted out cab corners. PICTURES ON THEIR WEBSITE AND CRAIGSLIST WASNT THE TRUCK ON THEIR LOT. Second truck, they forged the car fax and tripped the miles on the truck. The truck said it had 134k miles on it and turns out it really has 234k miles on it after I ran my own car fax. One of the guys Bob is very rude. Whole dealership and all the workers seem very very sketchy. STAY AWAY from this dealer if you can. If there was a button for 0 stars I would use it. This dealer deserves no business and no stars! I dont want anyone else to make the same mistake I made and put a down payment on a $20k truck and end up there lying to you.

I had the worst experience ever in this Atlantic Motors dealer at 520 Watertown Ave Waterbury, CT 06708. Five days ago we bought a 2011 Freightliner Sprinter and its totally unusable. The next day, one dash light went on and a strange sound. I took it to the Mercedez Benz Dealer for a complete check and its a disaster. The DEF/Adblue tank is leaking DEF Fluid from the top of the tank and the heating element is bad causing the light. The fuel tank is leaking from the top seal, diesel is all over the under body of the van. The rear differential seal Is leaking fluid, need to replace the seal and flush out the old dark fluid. The Diesel particulate filter of the exhaust is cracked and leaking air. This is going to melt all the wiring and sensors below the vehicle. It is very dangerous. The front and rear brakes are rusted out, the calipers pin are seized up and the list goes on and on. The repair will cost around $9,000.00. I dont even know haw this vehicle passed inspection at the certified Connecticut State Safety Division. I called the dealer several times and finally they responded. They were rude and didnt want to respond for the Lemon vehicle. Do yourself a favor and dont buy from them. I now have to start a case in The Better Business Bureau.

Hello first off I want to say how much I love my new 2005 Ford F-350 that I bought from atlantic. I had the pleasure of being helped by this wonderful gentleman named Bob Dupis,(I hope thats how you spell last name) he was very informative, knew exactly what he was talking about which made me real comfortable while I was there. Bob made sure I had myself some coffee,I remember he worked the machine for me because I had no idea what I was doing :) he had no problem with showing the different trucks I was interested with, finally I found the one just right for me and my family. Right away he got the truck, showed me the bluetooth as the truck had an aftermarket navi unit and all the other helpful tips the truck comes with, after that he had the truck washed for me and made my whole purchase all the worth while. Thank you Bob for the extraordinary experience!! I will definitely recommend Atlantic Motors and Bob to friends and family.

They posted this really nice looking Chevy Duramax with only 50,000 miles on it. It was a 2WD. I gave a 200 dollar down payment on it because 100 wasnt good enough. Later on realized it said at the end of the ad Great truck for a TMU Chevy I didnt know what TMU meant so I looked it up on google and then did a car fax on the truck. Turns out the last recorded mileage was 140,xxx miles in 2010 and it was at a dealer in NY a few months before then auctioned off. While in NY it showed thats where the mileage was tampered with. Once I told them about that they argued with me about it saying hell give me half of my 200 dollar deposit back because he lost out on so many sales but tried to rush me to buy it because of all the emails he said he had about it. On top of it i didnt get any replies all weekend from them until I brought up how I did a car fax. Very untrustworthy and dishonest to me. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Would give them no stars if I could. I saw a truck on Craiglist a 1999 ford ranger that looked very nice they had many pictures of the outside and the inside. So I drive two hours down there after having talked on te phone with them multiple times asking about any problems. I show up and some squid comes out of the back room and says oh yea that truck your about o buy it needs new U joints. I still go outside to look at it bc Im curious and I drove two hours. The truck is rusted out. The entire underside. The interior is DIFFERENT from the pictures on Craigslist and it has a bunch of holes in the fabric and grime everywhere. The bed wont open because the key hole is corroded shut and the wiring for the flood lights looks like it was done by a a fifth grade tech Ed class. DISHONEST UNTRUSTWORTHY SCUMBAGS CREEPING UP FROM NEW JERSEY INTO CONNECTICUT. Stay away from these a holes. all the other trucks on the lot were rusted out shitboxes that had either rubber or paint sprayed over the rust to mask it.Oh yea not to mention the back window was just a piece of plexi glass that let water and whatever else in.

I put a deposit on a truck I found on ebay... and for the mileage and everything it was a great price. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.... I believe they sold it for more than what I was going to pay.. sold it out from under me. From the time I put the deposit on the truck until the time I got it back was about three weeks.....and after many times on the phone with them. It took them almost two weeks to tell me they sold the truck to someone else....IM SURE THEY GOT MORE THAT WAY. Im just glad I finally got deposit back and didnt have to deal with the a holes. From the reviews that Ive read they dont take care of their customers after their purchase..............IM SO GLAD IT DIDNT GET THAT FAR. Someone is definitely looking out for me. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay Away. Very untrustworthy and dishonest. I would not recommend them to anyone. They sold me a truck with non-working brakes on the back and lied on the checklist that they had inspected the brakes. I had a mechanic I trust fix them, and when I asked Atlantic to cover the cost, they refused and called me dishonest. Do not buy from them.

After test driving 2 F-350s Tim convinced me to go with the higher mileage ford as it had many newer parts installed. He worked with us to get us a loan and fixed all the little things the truck needed.

Very poor customer service, repairs not even a backyard mechanic would try to pass, they fail to deliver on promises and written contracts. STEER CLEAR!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Dont even walk in the front door they are thieves told me my injectors were done my injectors are bad and I have to replace them there was a couple things wrong with the truck that he said he would fix for example the back door would not open so all he did was disconnect the power lock he said give me a call of you have any problems I did so and he never said that we agreed on a full tank of diesel I left with a quarter tank because he also never said that and the list goes on it was a terriable experience
