They failed to show up for the 5 hour time window. Then when I call they informed me they never assigned my service to a tech. They did not fit me in a new appointment they are making me wait almost a week. On top of that they then tried to upsell me wipers. I was never offered an apology or discount for the inconvenience. Now I have to sit around for another 5 hour time window. I would not recommend them to anyone!
Orlando came out to my home he was kind and very professional. He finished in a timely fashion. I really appreciated the washed windows and vacuumed floors in my car. I would recommend Orlando.
Santo came out to do my windshield. He was very professional, polite and punctual. He did an outstanding job as I have never had an issue with my window and it has been in over a year. I had another issue with another car of mine and requested Santo because he did such a great job the first time. He even clean my windows and vacuumed my car which was a great added bonus.
They we very nice and good customer service. The service can take up to two hours which is good and they let you know.
I confirmed with them before and after picking up the car they knew how to replace a window on a BMW. When I got it home I noticed the window was not installed properly with a massive gap and there was still a lot of broken glass inside the door. The window was also not cleaned after installation with dirt all over it. I tried calling about it at 6pm that day, was hung up on, and then after calling back was told that Safelite was unavailable to take my call. To schedule a warranty repair that the earliest time was a week out on something they just did is ridiculous. When I took the door panel off to align it properly today the expensive sound insulation was missing from in the door, there was broken glass in all the seals and two screws that hold the door panel on were also missing. This car has never seen an accident nor was this door ever dismantled before. This is completely unacceptable as I now have to order new screws and sound insulation material. I am at awe that this is the level of quality Safelite guarantees.
This has been the most seamless experience. From start to finish the men were very professional, courteous and responsive. They even had an uber pick me up and bring me back to my office! Highly recommend.
They are the bestThey couldnt replace the windshield on site because of the weather so they decided to drive car to there shop since I was to much of a chicken to drive my car. Of course my battery was dead so it had to get charged. The car was fixed and delivered within a couple of hours. Thank you Anthony for picking up my car and thank you Manny for fixing it and delivering it back to me. Great job guys. Scored 100% in my book
Waterbury, CT location did a horrible job replacing my windshield and they had to come to replace the windshield, however they scratched top of the hood and side of the vehicle and left the black glue inside of the ceiling of the vehicle. It took Mike (manager ) two month to replace the windshield. Tried so many times to get in touch with that location manager. At this point I don’t trust anyone at that location to get near my vehicle, so I need solution ASAP. I’m about to file a police report and report Safelite to the better business bureau.

Made an appointment 3 weeks ago and still waiting for my drivers side window to be fixed after they showed up without the regulator for the window!1/23/21, technician showed up at 9:00 a.m. and started work immediately. 1 hour later he was finished and my window was finally fixed. A little expensive for a broken power window regulator, but at least its fixed!

I got there a little bit earlier than my appointment and they were able to fit me in all the earlier. The technician was very quick to fix the divet and was able to explain everything to me in a comprehensible way. Now Im a lot less concerned next time a rock hits my windshield, because I know this company is both reliable and very cost effective.
Had to have a windshield replaced recently. They came right out to my house and swapped out the windshield. The tech (Orlando) was awesome!! He was very friendly and professional and did a great job!!

For the best glass place around if you make an appointment you can have it done anywhere .. if youre going to movies thats were you can have it done by appointment if you wanna stay home and do nothing You can have done their they are Excellent.... If you do it like I did and just drop by the shop and have it done by the time I went To the mail Box in did a few things but a 1/2 hour when by and they were already calling so they are quick And they do excellent work

I was sent here by my insurance company and it was a big mistake. They were scheduled to show up at between 12-5 (smallest window they would provide) and when I called around noon to see if I could get a better window, they told me they werent coming because the window was on back order. This was after they confirmed the night before and I took the day off of work.They promised to call me on Tuesday but never did. I tried calling them several times but the phone was always turned off and picked up by their central office. Because I didnt have an appt scheduled, the auto attendant routed me all over before I got to speak to someone. When I finally did, she said she would route me to the Waterbury store but I ended up at another. I finally got through and they told me my window was on a National Back Order. I asked the if I could call Volvo directly and they said they wouldnt have them either. So I did, turns out Volvo did have them and directed me to a shop who fixed it right away.This experience was as bad as it could be. If theres one thing I hate its getting the run around and being lied to. If I could give them less than a star, I would.
Got my car in an out fairly quickly, however whomever worked on it broke a piece that is needed to dispense the wiper fluid. Had someone come out as an on sight who identified the problem got the part and got it fixed. He warned me the on spot techs have more experience. The guys in the shop are still training.
It was very bad experience Had to get my part myself cz they cancelled my appointment twice and not telling me. I have no faith in them whatsoever. Now Im worried if my regular is even fixed correctly I will never ever go there again. Everyone beware Zero star is what they deserve so stressful I se the only time owner responds to the t review is when is a good one this place is the worst
Horrible phone service. No type of explanation for my questions. Instead of selling me the guy was rude and was willing to end our conversation.
I had them out to replace a window on my van, they came out and brought the wrong size window and told me it would be over a week before they could get the window. I called another company that came the next day to replace it and found the hardware to hold the window in was missing. I called they told me to call back tomorrow and when I did they said they were sending the piece out. When the guy dropped it off he didnt have the screw. He called his boss and put me on the phone I was told they fired the guy and didnt have and wasnt going to get the piece but I could use a nail to hold it. Both guys that came out were nice but management needs changed.
Took care of my cars replacement window in the rear with no issue. Was very understanding when my card was declined due to suspected fraud, and allowed me to call for 20 minutes to fix it with no hassle. However, forgot to vacuum the glass out of my car afterwards and so theres shards all in my back seat. I cut my hand in one of the pieces. Will be vacuuming it out at home.
I submitted a claim with my insurance to replace my cracked windshield on May 1 st it was scheduled with satellite auto glass, the first window came out with a crack in the replacement the second window all of the stripping was off and as for the third scheduled appointment when that was never actually scheduled!!! It is now June 22, 2018 and my window has still not been replaced by this company they have the worst service and customer service on earth no in the universe!! Do not use them at all!!

Dont waste your time. They replaced my windshield and left me with a broken wiper cowl, missing screws, and missing weather strip for the bottom portion of the windshield. They claim thats how it was before they started. Im a mechanic and I know everything about my vehicle. Whats broken and whats not. If the screws were already missing, the cowl would have fallen off while driving. I spoke with 2 different people and received 2 different stories about my issues. I was told every vehicle has to be photographed before work can be done, yet the assistant manager Jamie told me some of the guys is like pulling teeth to get them to do that portion of the job. He also told me he couldnt see well in the picture and it would be sent to corporate to be zoomed in and inspected. Now I have the sales woman Sharon tell me she can see it clear as day that items were missing before service was provided. Its lie after lie. Beware of safe lite, beware of the incompetent tech Carlos, Assistant manager Jamie, and sales Sharon. You will regret choosing them

A few weeks ago I called to get a crack fixed in my windshield. The person who came out to fix a very small crack and he DID NOT do a good job. I called your company in a week to have the person come out to re-do the fixing of the crack - he REFUSED TO COME BACK OUT TO LOOK AT IT! Instead he said Thats the best I can do. Now the crack is slowly spreading...I will make sure that I will tell folks not to use your service!!!!!!
If I could give less than one star, I would. Went for a windshield replacement (something that should be easy for an auto glass shop....), waited 40 minutes for them to simply pull the car in, and then found out that the only replacement windshield they had was damaged. Over an hour of my limited time gone. You’d think for an auto glass shop they wouldn’t treat a windshield replacement like it was their first time ever attempting it and then not even have the necessary parts to replacement. Waste of time. Do not go.

Everything went really well except the generic 800 number and no phone onsite. The 800 number was inflexible so I had to drive there the day before to speak with them directly. Took a short walk to Jimmys and had breakfast while I waited.

Made an appointment by phone. Talked to a person. Their response was no problem. Went down to a CLOSED shop (Waterbury). Then I went to the Cromwell branch to have the crash plastic put on and in less then 5 minutes it was peeling off. They offered to vacuum but didnt clean any glass.
My wife called Safelite to set up an appointment to have our car windshield repaired after getting hit with pebbles from a landscapers truck on the highway. I used Safelite because I thought they would be convenient and professional. Giving an appointment window between 9-5 is ridiculous. When the repairman arrived he did not have a replacement windshield, only epoxy. He said he would repair the dings in the glass and it should be fine. When my wife asked about replacing the windshield he told her shed have to make another appointment if thats what she wanted. When he finished my wife inspected the repair and noticed the epoxy was clearly visible and questioned if this was done correctly. The man stated the this was to indicate that safelite did the job and not another glass re[pair company. I doubt I would use Safelite Auto Glass again when I know there are many other options.
My glass had a cracked on it do I took it by safelite and it was fixed in hay the specified time!!!
I had Safelite come to my home and fix my windshield. It was great I was able to work from home and not have to travel somewhere to fix my windshield! I appreciated that the tech was ontime! I called safelight ahead and was able to reserve a 2-5pm slot so I did not have to be waiting from 12-5pm which made a HUGE difference! thank and called when he was 10-15 minutes from my home to let me know to expect him. The whole process did not clog up my day, I was able to go about my business while he installed the windshield - took about an hour.

From the time I called Geico I was transfers to the safelite office. In less than 10 min my appt was made. They sent me a reminder the night before. Ismael was kind, pleasant, on time, worked quickly. Gave me a courtesy call before and after the job was done. Didn’t interrupt my day at all. Oh yeah, they came to my job location which made it super convenient.I used them Yrs ago, so glad Geico had a contract w them.

Due to the rain the tech met me at the Waterbury location to replace my windshield. He was from the Danbury location and was helping out. It took about an hour and when I got home the molding on the driver side of the windshield wasnt attached. I called Eric the tech from Danbury, who was very nice, but he wasnt able to help me because he was back at his location. He told me he put a call in and someone from the Waterbury location would call me in 10min but they never did.I called Safelites customer care line and by this time it was after 5pm. The rep transferred me to the Waterbury location knowing they were closed. Of course no one answered. Now Im really MAD! I then called back and spoke to a very nice rep by the name of Marc who apologize to me for the unprofessional treatment Ive received today. He assured me he would take care of this personally for me 1st thing in the morning. Well see..Follow up:Well I waited ALL DAY for Marc the customer care rep I spoke with to call me like he promised but he didnt! I ended up taking my car back to Safelite in Waterbury before they closed to fix the molding on my window. When I got there I was told they never received a call from Eric the tech from Danbury or Marc the customer care rep. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!
