So I have purchased 2 other mattress for here and didnt think twice when I was going to purchase a 3rd one as a gift.BIG MISTAKE!!! The mattress in the store was soft and when asked which I preferred I informed the sales guy I needed a soft mattress. The mattress was delivered and they stated they had the wrong one, left and came back and set it up. Now I purchased this mattress for a friend kid who is Autistic and needs a softer mattress. Let me tell you the mattress we received is as hard as a ROCK!! Called the explained the situation and was told to take pictures of the bed and the tags which I did. Long story short the owner is now saying I have what I asked for and wont do an exchange and I would have to purchase a new mattress and pay their restock fee if I want to return the one I paid for.

I was sold the worst mattress ever in the Torrington store. I’m a senior citizen with a history of spinal surgery which I had informed the salesman. I was buying a mattress for a twin platform bed and wanted to carry it home in my car. I haven’t slept since.The return fees are exorbitant but I had no choice.I went to the Waterbury store and the wonderful young man looked at my sales slip with a look of surprise. He immediately recognized the mattress I’d been sold was for a CHILD and had a weight limit of 98 lbs!!! No wonder I couldn’t sleep!I’m still waiting for the new one and praying it is better. I lost 140.00 and it cost 190.00 more to get rid of the other one. Very unfair since I was bamboozled.I

My husband and I went to mattress firmto hopefully find a good mattress at a good price. The sales associate, Mr. Jones was more than helpful! After asking what we preferred, he showed usmattresses in that style and we were able to get the mattress we wanted at a GREAT price. For a small fee, we also got it delivered and our old one taken away. We didnt have to lift a finger!Now thats service!!!!!🙂

Waterbury CT location - Jocelyne very helpful and knowledgeable as well as her associate. Went in to purchase an adjustable bed. After a couple of hours exploring possibilities made a decision for the Serta Iseries with adjustable base. Transaction became cumbersome due to the credit process, after all 5 years no interest is a good deal. Company does price match - went home did more research and made an inquiry received a lower price and reduced delivery. Went back to the store to swap the base and get the credit to account. Not that simple - had to cancel original order and redo entire purchase. {note to self - when redoing purchase it will not recognize original discounts and it itemizes discount vs straight credit} this is a way to keep the customer confused and gives the illusion that all discounts are applied. One issue I came across is after sale they provide additional credits but must be used either in store or online (online you only get 50% of the credit) One has to return to store to claim credit. This is very cumbersome and not consumer friendly and inconvenient. All in all I left ~$175 in credit on the table which would have been helpful to offset the adjustable base. over all good experience but terrible credit process. giving credit for a lower price is not that easy.

I had previously purchased a mattress and box spring set from Raymour & Flannigan. Initially the set cost me over $1000 and I was set to have it delivered this past Wednesday. Due to a family emergency I had to move the delivery date and asked that we change it from Wedneaday to Friday. They told me no can do...earliest was going to be the 20th which would be tomorrow. They called me today to say my mattress never arrived so it will not be delivered tomorrow.....well it was all set to come to me last week. That tells me that they sold my mattress. To make matters worse they didnt even have an estimate for when I would get it. I promptly cancelled that order and headed over to Mattress Firm. I called the Waterbury store and spoke with Chris who was honestly the most helpful person. We did most of the transaction over the phone and the whole process only took a few minutes. Not only was Chris able to get me a better deal which ended up being less than the $1000+ I was originally going to spend, he was able to offer me a better warranty, and Mattress Firm has a refund/return policy that Raymour and flannigan doesnt have. Overall dealing with Chris and Mattress Firm was such a breath of fresh air. I obviously wish I went there to begin with and would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a new mattress.

Sales person was not pushy (cant say that about my prior experience at another location). He worked with me to find the right mattress, Thorougly explained the warranties. (Lots of exceptions, be sure to asked questions) Left making a purchase that I was happy with, without feeling that I overpayed. I give 4 stars. Once I receive delivery and am completely happy with the mattress, Ill give it 5 stars.

Five stars. Gerald and the guys in the store were very professional salesman. They worked with me and werent just looking for a high-dollar sale. Just customer satisfaction. Delivery got there earlier than the designated time and I wasnt home but they waited for me until I arrived 20 minutes later. The guys were nice and quick with the set up and took the old stuff away, even the old, messed up frame that they said they dont usually do! (usually just the old bed and box spring).

Super friendly sales staff offered a great sale price on a floor model matress. Delivery was flawless and went back to get the mouluf pillow and sheet package what great pillows and sheets the best pillows Ive ever slept on.The matress is the best matress Ive ever slept on but the bottom line is the Waterbury store was great to deal with Gerald was a pleasure and very informative.

Ive never had a better experience shopping for a mattress!! Gerald is top-notch, attentive, willing to go out of his way to help you make a great choice on a mattress. Most people in this industry are pushy and can get annoyed easily if you dont make decisions fast enough. Not Gerald! I went in the first night, layed on a few mattresses, came back the 2nd night, and then a 3rd time - every single time he treated me with upmost respect, patience, and helped me learn about various mattresses, even taking the time to speak to my husband on the phone (since he wasnt able to join me) to help him understand the mattresses too. He is exceptional and would definitely be recommending him at this location and buying from him again!! Im coming in for my Wellington one of these days :) Dont ever let Gerald go!!!!
