Anxious about the store being open on labor day weekend. It was open Saturday. I was able to get into the store and get my phone activated. There was a bit of a wait but understandable for working people to get their phone issues resolved

My rating changed from 0 to 5 stars after I left the xfinity store in Wtby and dealt with the store manager Edward R. He was very professional and was able to solve my issue quickly and efficiently.The call center / automated answering service on the other hand, is very ineffective. It takes forever to get an actual person when the automated answering service cannot solve the issue. When you do get an actual person on the phone, it seems like every person you talk to was hired that day. I spoke to 4 different people and they all either did not solve my issue or made the issue worse, including a reassured (several times) “waived” charge that ended up on my bill.I normally don’t leave reviews but just wanted to give props to Edward because he fixed my cable issue in 10 min while the call center could not accomplish the same task with 4 people. The only good advice I got from one call center employee was “go to the store”.

You should really inform people when your going to do a routine maintenance. It was very inconvenient. My daughter was taki g a very important test for school and was kicked off in the middle of the test. If i was informed of a routine maintenance i would have sent her somewhere where she could have service. Very disappointed of how your maintenance routine are done. You should really improve on this issue.

Poor customer. This place is not professional at all . At first they tell my boyfriend he can’t get the phone because he does not have ownership of the account. But he does. Double checked with headquarters. He then gets back on the phone with xfininty headquarters and goes back in the store. Now all of a sudden he can get the phone because the guy on the phone says so . Seems strange . Then tells he can’t get the upgrade because an upcoming balance. I’ll call it like I see DISCRIMINATION!!! They see a younger black man & automatically assume he is trying to steal or something . They wanted everyone on the account to be present. Also, The females in there attitudes need to be better !

Went in to exchange my modem/router for the WiFi 6 version thats out now. The technician that waited on me, Nicky, was very professional, courteous and even though she was wearing a mask i could tell by her eyes that she had a huge smile. My exchange of equipment went very smooth and quickly. Nicky is certainly very good at her job and hopefully management recognizes that.

Well I had to come into the store after calling people 5 times, so much for caring...I go to upgrade my modem n not only did I not get the coax cord with the new device, but the woman at the store failed to put the one from my old modem bck in my bag....now I have to travel once again after a while two wks waisting my time...I should have canceled my services n went elsewhere!

My husband went to pick up an installation kit. The sales woman was extremely rude, she did not let my husband explain what he needed, took the order number and left him standing without saying a word. My husband was able to see from outside that she went in to chat with two employees, sat for about 10 min and then she walked out with the kit, gave it to my husband without saying a word. He did not expect a conversation but a customer should be treated with respect. The service they provide represent Xfinity customer service.

Could not find the number to call ahead to forewarn staff I was coming. Showed up with my old cable box and router to exchange for new equipment. There was a tent outside with friendly, masked staff waiting to help. They didnt even have to ask for my information; it must be attached to the serial number on the old boxes. In less than 10min, he had gone inside, grabbed the new equipment, and I was out of there. Very satisfied with this experience.

I only walked in with a friend who went to pick up a modem for her home internet service and the person who took care of her was the most polite and friendly outgoing person very informative about the productivity and in general multitasking while giving us both info on products..my goodness she convinced me I will be going back to pick up my modem soon

Staff were excellent. Its a shame I give the store 2 stars because of Comcasts overall service. Comcast looks out for COMCAST! Greedy money grubbing company that service advisers tell you & promise you one thing to keep you but ultimately take away your promised services and increasing your price. I thought bait and switch was illegal??? Its only a matter of time before things catch up to them no matter how big they are now.

My husband and I visited the Xfinity store on Wolcott Street in Waterbury Connecticut at about 5 p.m.August 21,2020.. The person that assisted us at the store was a female K/@0821201739200z0015.. I apologize wholeheartedly for not remembering her name .. She was excellent professional and very very helpful. She worked with us and got us a great deal a great plan we are very grateful for all of her assistance and time spent with uds. I went as soon as they opened and had a huge box returning everything and the girl up front was so nice and opened the door for me. And I was in an out within 5 minutes. Yes I was the only one there but they were very nice and canceling comcast was the best decision ever! But this store is great friendly staff.

The store atmosphere is nice.The customer solution center is in need to hired extra personnel, having short staff take longer based on customers preferences and needs, you need to consider that when store is full. Customer waited time is needed to be consider and valuable to.

Went there to simply swap out a control and remote: 2 customer services reps there to service about 20 customers. Ttook my number. sat down and waited. After about 20 minutes NO ONE new had been called up for service. Went to the front desk and asked how long a wait ? Was not given a time frame only shown a list and told that it was very busy, pointing out the obvious. Got my old equipment back and left.Called today to find out the wait times and can no longer reach the local store and cannot be given any idea of what my wait time would be. Apparently a Comcast customers time is not valuable to them only their bottom line is. This is the poorest customer service approach I can imagine for an amazingly steep price. No wonder cord cutting is catching on. Comcast sucks!

I went to this location on September 14 2019 at 620 pm I was looking to transfer my cell service to them from us cellular when I entered the building I was greeted by a young lady who informed me that they stop servicing cellular at 6 pm it would be nice if there was a sign on the door telling you this or on the web site so I would not wasted my time going to this location also it’s funny that on the Sunday August the 11 I went there and they took care of me after 6 pm .

Of course there will be a rating of 2 in a store in Waterbury. People in this town are rude, have attitudes and feel entitled. I walk into this branch once a year to swap my old modem for a new one and have no issues. Dress respectful, act respectful, get respectful service. No this branch doesnt take payments. They are here for service like upgrading your cable box or giving you a new modem. Super convenient and I hope they stick around.

Staff is helpful, once you get past the receiving desk. The office is woefully understaffed - which is frustrating when youre there for a quick equipment drop and youre waiting 35 minutes to spend 2 minutes getting a receipt for your equipment

I went a few days ago to pick up a new Gateway modem that was being offered FREE with my account and in store Representative named Taisha or Tasha was extremely rude, very unfriendly. She did not answer any of my questions, she was bothered that I even had questions. She insisted that the Free equipment promo did not apply to my account because i had low level internet. Last time i checked 200mbps was very good. I kept trying to explain that Xfinity kept sending me the offer via mail and had the pamphlet to prove, and in a nasty tone she kept telling me that the equipment i was there to get wouldnt make my service any faster....Well guess what it did. I continued to asked why would I be charged for the free equipment and before I could get another word out she had my receipt printed and was done with my transaction. With no help from her I took the equipment to the car and called the 800 CS number, which the rep was very helpful, and agree that my account did qualify for the Free equipment promo. Taisha, dont take your customer service job for granted, you are their to serve your customers, and if you cant do that then stay home.

This office is terrible!! The older lady at the check was friendly she had the best service in the store all the others appeared to be sitting down chatting to one another as if they were the customers. Manager on duty appeared to be doing nothing but looking out, when a customer was yelling at an employee for an incorrect payment made. My mother needed help a young lady attended. She tried her best to fix her current package. But finally gave up and stated we should call over the phone for a better deal. I rather take the extra drive elsewhere next time than waste my time here poor service

First time in a Waterbury store.... drove to the wrong side parked and walked to the back door because I seen a lady in front of the door smoking, and the door has a big sign over it says [Xfinity] dont confuse this side with the front! This Woman turned out to be an employee.... she looked at me like I was dumb and said walk around the building hand your equipment up front.... me or someone else will give you your receipt, I didn’t know I was in the back of the store dumb on my behalf. Then when I made my way around; the place was packed sat down for 30 min.... To be handed a receipt by the same lady who said sorry we get packed everyone comes here to pay bills... This is my personal experience I’m sure others have had better service wont go back again....

I pay extra for Xfinitys 1GB Per second plan because I game/Stream all the time. Ive yet to go past 300 Mbps. They tried telling me that my Xbox one S wasnt capable of getting the 1GB speeds. So I went out and got the xbox one X. Same problem occurs. Even HARDWIRED Ive gotten trash speeds and they make excuses every time. Also, I lived in SC. Where I had ATT service and used the 1GB plan they offered there. My xbox one S had NO LESS than 900MBPS. I dont know if they throttle or something, but this has been unacceptable and they refuse to admit that theres a problem with service. One star until they fix this. When they fix this (or even acknowledge it) Ill give 5.-George K. CT.

This lady just assumed I was a cheapo looking for a antenna type of package and tried to get me the bare basic. I asked if DVR came with it she said no, but on demand is like the same thing... What? No! I asked about the speed of the internet and the lady told me 5 Mbps Im thinking oh really are you sure? Right before she processes my card info put in the computer I asked...So how many boxes does that include? She only added one I wanted 3 possibly 4. umm what package? She put me on the digital starter and I wanted double play. Also whats the surcharge and how much would the tech visit be? Oh we bill a month ahead it depends on what needs to be done there. She was just about to take my money after she took the card info and not explained or made effort to fit any of my wants and needs based off assumption.Now its even more interesting. The tech install took so damn long 8 hours yes 8 hours. Called his supervisor from Oxford and had him drive out to Waterbury. Called him a idiot and all lol... Drilled 3 or 4 holes without consent. The got frustred and gave us X1 boxes because its wireless and half the work of routing cable. Gave us 6MB/s speed which I doubt was only 5mbs to begin with. So I dont know weather to be mad about the holes or neutral we got more speed and wireless equipment oh and DVR. 8 hours though lol cant make this up.

This place is absolutely horrible to visit and do business with. The lady at the counter when you first walk in has an extremely bad attitude. All I came here to do was drop off equipment. They took my equipment and then made me wait over 30 minutes to get my name called only to go to another person at another desk to print off that I handed in my equipment. Ohh, and the miserable lady at the counter with the really bad attitude said if I didnt wait to see another person I was still going to get charged for the equipment even though she scanned it into their system already. I will never ever b coming back here. I will drive to the New Brittan store which is 40 minutes out of my way just so I never have to deal with these people again!!

One of the most expensive utility bills we pay every month and works about 50% of the time. When it does work we can use 1 device at a time without lagging... Customer service is polite and tries to be helpful but weve yet to come to a definitive resolution. So we are still left without tv and internet. Thankfully Ive finally purchased an unlimited data plan from my phone service carrier, because I was actually paying to use data in my own home so often. So uncessecary when Im already paying a fortune for the fastest Wi-Fi...

Really no sense of customer service. After trying to fix my modem connection for the internet for more than 1 hour the technical service on the phone finally told me to get another modem in the 920 Wolcot center. Got there almost at closing time of the store and they would not service me. After explaining to Deasare that Im from out of state and need this fixed for my son in college in CT as Im leaving tonight. She argue that there are cameras and she is not allow anyone in. This is the most ridiculous story I ever heard. In summary Comcast/Xinfinity service is terrible.
