I am 41 years old with hearing loss, severe tinnitus, sound decay, and hyper sensitivity. Everything from my very first visit, tests, and check-ups to this very day everyone ESPECIALLY April have been excellent. Personability, patience, care, professionalism, assistance, compassion with a huge and beautiful heart, and the drive to go above and beyond to be available and help has been outstanding. Learning, adapting, and adjusting to hear again with my new hearing aides hasnt been easy for me personally, and April has taken great care of me and my extensive needs. Ive been to both to the Avon location and the Waterbury location. Shes ALWAYS there and is ALWAYS available to make things as easy, comfortable, and painless in every aspect as possible. I highly recommend And How Hearing / True North Hearing and their CT staff.

Color me impressed. My first visit to this downstairs facility was a great experience. ...(Located in the back of the down lot)😁😁😁April was informative, patient and caring about hearing....lol.😜The office manager, Naime is a delight.We were offered beverages and left with a cute welcome packet.April demonstrated hands on wearing and clearing of my mothers hearing aides. I felt very comfortable in assisting with the hearing aides on my own.

The staff was amazing! You are greeted with a happy hello from receptionist. April the audiologist was absolutely perfection. From my first appointment she was pleasant and explained everything in a simple way I could understand. I had had a few follow up appointments to make adjustments and she has made my life so much better by getting my hearing back to where it should be! I highly recommend her to everyone!! April is an asset to the company and deserves a raise!! Love her, love it all!

Dan and April.... Amazing. My Husband is 40 years old and lost 60 percent of his hearing... ( Guestimate) today he heard the rain for the first time im 3 years. Not only did they treat us as people and kind and concerned.... They went above and beyond in every way. Even goodie bags!!! If they had an opening Id work there with such a great team in a heartbeat 💓 I hope to see Dan again ... Since he travels... But April is an absolutely amazing and thorough as can be.. Id give 10 stars if it was possible!

The warmness of these ladies creates a wonderful, comfortable atmosphere that is evident from the phone call when you set the appointment and then really shines through once you walk in their office door. April cares about patients so much and takes the time to listen to all cares and concerns, whether it be from the patient, or spouse, or caretaker. Nair is a smiling, friendly face to greet you when you first walk in the door. Never will you feel pressure or as if you are rushed through an appointment, but rather you will feel as if you are their only concern that day! Theres no where better to go for hearing care in Waterbury! Hearing aids are not your grandmothers hearing aids anymore! Dont go another day wondering if you have a hearing loss, go find out!

Very knowledgeable and personable staff. April knows her stuff and treats everyone with respect. Absolutely recommend, and they take most Ins so it cost me nothing outta pocket.

I met Howard when he came to give free hearing tests at my senior living home. ....several of us had poor hearing and we all made a second appointment at the office of And How Hearing....that is where l met April, the receptionist/secretary there.....Howard gave us further testing and with the patience of a saint he explained the whole process to us....the others got their hearing aids and were very pleased...l could not get them right away for financial reasons but Howard helped and advised me so that today l was able to receive my hearing aids.... What a difference ! ! ...I am so happy to have met these wonderful people who made me comfortable and gave me my life back ! Thank you for your graciousness !Patty Ligouri...

Howard the owner is really good at what he does! April the office manager is a very nice person. And I absolutely love my new Starkey hearing aides. The 4 is because their expensive. With that being said hearing aids are expensive no matter where you get them. And most insurance dont cover them. And thats crazy.

I highly respect Howard as being extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is much better than the specialist I had previously seen in Bristol. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Howard is a really great person and always willing to help,even if you just walk in. April is great, though she needs to relax! I am glad I purchased my hearing aids here and highly recommended them!!

I have always thought this man just had a bad bedside manner, but after todays visit I realized he is very discriminating against people on Title 19 insurance. On my visit before last he outright lied to me by telling me he took my little red gasket out of my aid to add an earwax trap when I asked him what happened to it. It was missing when he returned the aid to me. Upon coming home cleaning my ears with a q-tip I pulled out the little red gasket. It must have stayed in my ear when I handed the aid to him. If he would have been honest I would have known to check for it. He also told me my and I quote ears were so full of wax he could not perform a hearing test, please come back after having my doctor flush them. Which, of course I did. She, and I quote said I have never seen such clean ears, tell your your hearing aid guy to have his eyes checked. There was literally nothing for her to clean out. I shower daily and clean my ears twice a day. On todays visit he handed back a hearing aid with a big chunk taken out of where the gasket goes, a crack up the side and told me it was like that when he handed it to me. LIE. I guess he did not realize his secretary looked at it first, she knew full well it was not broken when I handed it to her. At first he offered to fix it himself by sending it out and he would pay, when I said I was filing a grievance. But when I handed it back... then it slipped out...... I will patch it and bill your so called welfare for it VERY NASTY TOO! I am not on welfare, I worked hard all my life. If there were negative stars up there I would pick them. And I am filing a grievance with the ADA.

Over all great experience. what iced the cake and made it the best was walking in the door to an immediate smile on the secritarys face. April can put a smile on your face even if your feeling down.. on top of that she really knows how to do her job and tackle complications that come her way and execute the situation and solve any problems in her control.

Howard and April are wonderful. Very patient and kind. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know.
