So I’ve been with best oil for over five years and for the past two weeks i’ve been calling leaving them messages with no response, someone finally picked up today I told her that I want 100 gallons of oil for delivery like I always do, she told me hold on for one minute, she hung up the phone and when I tried to call back it goes straight to voicemail every times I call back. That is no way to run a company or treat a customer that’s been with you for over five years I am very disappointed.

The girls in the office are always respectful, drivers and technicians do a great job at everything they do, and they always having the best pricing and are willing to work with you.

Great customer service that really makes you feel cared about. I ran out of oil and called and they came out on a Sunday within a couple hours to fill my tank so my family and I wasn’t cold. Highly recommend! Amazing family run company!

I was visiting Connecticut and my friend was low on oil. This was an emergency as it was wintertime. Even though it was in the middle of the night best oil came through and delivered. I am so grateful for them and their services. Best pool is BEST!

Best Oil has been extremely wonderful to me, since purchasing my home years back. I remember about 3 yrs ago when I forgot to order oil and it was a freezing winter. I had no help or family in CT. My son and I needed to stay warm, I called and was blessed with a driver that filled my tank at the early morning hour and came inside to bleed my lines. He was truly my xmas blessing. Best Oil is super! Especially with whats going on, the FIRST person to answer the phone went out of her way to be helpful in any way possible! Ive been using them for a number of years, and their customer service has just gotten better and better!

I am 84 years old and widowed. I ordered 200 gallons of oil and noticed the pin did not rise after the delivery, yet I did have oil. They came back to my house to fix the pin on the oil tank. Upon doing so and given my fragile state and age I was beyond nervous to let the driver enter my house. Although they are nice, I ran out of 200 gallons of oil in a 900 sq/ft house in less than 1.5 months. I can say with confidence, that I paid for the 200 gallons and Best oil did not deliver the full amount that I was billed for. Not only that, they left mud tracks in my home with grease stains I cannot get out. Pay the extra dollar and find a more honorable company to service your home. I give them a ZERO rating. For my carpets and oil that should have lasted me into fall..shop elsewhere. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned from a company I trusted based off “good reviews”...just want to prevent my experience from happening to someone else. I use penny oil now and would never go back to best. Inconsiderate and unhonorable owner. BEWARE.

2015: Whenever I call, the women in that office are rude & miserable. Reading older reviews, I can see that I am not the only one that has experienced that. I feel like I am inconveniencing them when I call for delivery or service. When one leaves they seem to be replaced with an equally miserable employee.11/17/16: I gave Best Oil 4 properties to service, not one but 4! Today is the 2nd time in a week that the service guys didnt show up & no one bothered to call me to say there werent coming. Kevin, the service coordinator, should be on top of this & he clearly doesnt care. What an inconvenience to block off my day to accommodate them & then they dont show. Their customer service is HORRIBLE - if I never showed up to my business appointments I would be OUT OF BUSINESS! Get your oil & service elsewhere!

Outstanding customer service.

I see that the last review was from 3 years ago. Since then, Best Oil has gone down dramatically. Called in on Tuesday for 200 gallons of oil, over $700+ on oil. Guy on the phone told us when we told him how much we had left saying We would be fine for the night. Turns out we ran out of oil. Called the next, when it opened, explaining we are out and need oil now. Customer service rep didnt have the schedule and told call back by 9am. Called at 9am, still no schedule. Called back at 11:20am, telling us that they would not be able to come by until mid-late afternoon. The woman I spoke with on the phone, was very rude and uncarrying. No empathy. I asked wouldnt you prioritze customers who are out of oil first vs people just getting more? Her response was When there is a news report of a storm, people panic and it had nothing to do what I asked. She explained there is 1 guys doing 6 towns. What does that say when it comes to business? Also her nasty response telling me everyone called for oil, your not the only one. Will not do business again with this company.

I agree with Caroline, If you can find another Oil company go to them first and DO NOT go with BEST Oil. Trust me.....you would rather pay the extra 2 to 5 cents per gallon more with another company. You might get the service the same day or the next with the other company. After having Best Oil has my fuel provider for years, they have lost my trust and my business. I made friends with an ex-employee and found out what I suspected. They go to the home of who paid cash 1st and who paid for the most Oil. If you Bark loud enough then they will react. It was really hard for them to apologize, sort of like they had to say sorry (because their boss was telling them to) rather than they were really sorry they screwed up. They really blew me off last week for the 3rd and last time. Getting it cheap is not a good idea for me anymore. Im getting What I pay for.
