Sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and they have a wide selection of carper. Offer many free perks such as tearing out and removal of the old carpet...sometimes not a pleasant job.

Really wish I could break up the reviews, because the installers did an exceptional job! However, Carpetland in general fell extremely short of satisfactory service. We were building a new house and needed flooring for the entire main floor (obviously a pretty penny). We picked everything out the first day, recieved the invoice, and confirmed. They suggested to call two weeks before install to confirm measurements, and delivery. Followed up multiple times during the build as we did with all sub-contractors, getting a different invoice (higher) each time. Eventually we said we will find someone to install the vinyl to save money because the price kept increasing, assuming they must not keep very good records. Of course they required us to pick up 900 square feet of vinyl from the store since they werent installing it. I guess they assume average people have shipping trucks in their backyards?This was all before the two week scheduling and measurement.We should have canceled then, but during the Covid fiasco, we were committed unfortunately. Without saying names out of respect, spoke to the Manager and Sales Rep numerous times, getting the run around for scheduling, taking the day off twice for install with no call or text when they didnt show. Apparently the communication is atrocious. Provided two down payments, which was odd, for most of the total. Finally got everything installed (looks beautiful). We called the manager to settle up, only to get a balance of almost double the original price after we already paid the two down payments. Go somewhere cheaper, with coherent representatives. House projects are stressful enough without the hassle of misinformation. Never even received an apology. We just paid the balance and said, Thank you.

Toni at the store is the best salesperson weve ever worked with. She let us take home several samples, was very flexible and knowledgeable. The installers for the vinyl planks and carpet were super nice, on time and extremely good at what they do. We were always kept informed of what was going on in the process and what to expect. Toni really made this whole process enjoyable and I would recommend everyone to use them for any flooring projects hands down.

I love my new carpet! The living room looks fantastic. I was in the store several times. Turner, Toni and Alan were all helpful and well informed on all the flooring. Carpetland exceeded all my expectations on customer service. I worked with Alan who went above and beyond. Everything was done as promised and done in the timing they set. I had gone to other flooring stores that made my floor shopping experience negative, but Carpetland turned it around and I was pleasantly surprised how they treated me. Love love love our shopping experience at Carpetland in Waterloo. Last summer he had wood floor put in our bedroom. Toni was so helpful getting us the right floor and color for the area. The guys that put the floor in were awesome. Worked quickly and did a great job. We love the floor. We just had new carpet put everywhere else in the house. Again Toni helped us and was so helpful leading us to the right carpet for our lifestyle with 4 dogs. She was so patient while we picked out a color. We had a few samples home for sure. We ordered and it came quickly and Turner was great at setting up our installation. Since we got so much carpet it would take two days to install so he worked around my days off from work, so we did part one week and the other part the next week. Work out so well. Again the guys that came to install were outstanding. They worked so hard, they were so professional, went above and beyond, very pleasant and the carpet looks great. We highly recommend Turner, Toni and the team at Carpetland Waterloo. When we need anything else we will be going to see our friends at Waterloo Carpetland. Usually dont post reviews, but felt like Carpetland deserved one. Toni was very knowledgeable and helped us decide on the perfect carpet. Turner was great following up with us and working with out schedules to set up a time for installation. Because we got a nicer pad, the carpet set up higher and our doors drug acrosss the new carpet. They sent someone from their hardwood floor team to trim all of our doors. Process took less than 3 weeks for 1,800 sq ft of carpet. Very happy with the finished product. Thank you guys!

Our experience at the Waterloo Carpetland USA store on Flammang was AWFUL. We were greeted by the one and only employee in the store. Unfortunately I do not know her name. She was condescending very rude. She acted as though were the dumbest people she had ever met.She was friendly at all. Very poor service. We will never step foot in this store again. She needs to be fired. We were ready to spend several thousand dollars and we walked out and will never return. If there was a minus score that is what this store would get.

Had appointment to have room measured @ 8:30. No one called or arrived.Tried to call salesmans phone number on business card.No phone service CR 22 service suspended non payment.Had to wait for store to open.Vance finally called @ 9:15 to set up appointment to measure! Didnt even apologize .Going somewhere else to purchase my carpet!

Terrible service. They were supposed to do ONE ROOM OF CAPRETING on a Wednesday. Said they would call the day before to set up a time. They called us the Sunday before and tried to do it that Monday. My husband works third shift and I had to take time off work FOR IT TO BE DONE THAT WEDNESDAY. When we told them that wasnt going to work they were very rude and said they would call us back the next day to reschedule.. two weeks later my landlord asks if we have heard from them bus they already pad for it. They had not called us so we called them to have them schedule it to be done another two weeks down the line. So weve been trying for almost a month and a half to get our carpets redone and theyre extremely unprofessional! If it were me paying for this carpet and not my landlord I would have went somewhere else a long time ago!!! They will never get my hard earned money!

Amazing customer service!! Had a great experience !! Awesome customer service -- you can tell this place is very well managed !!!! We just bought our first home and the carpet was perfect !

They showed us carpet, but did not really listen to what we were looking for. We had to ask about and specials they eere running.

I was told dont buy from Carpetland but my builder recommended them because of some guarantee they have so I did. Like buying anything there will almost always be some bumps and bruises. However after installing around 2000 square feet of Laminate flooring in mid November everything went perfect right up in till the weather changed. Once the weather warmed up my flooring cracked and popped like crazy. My home builder blamed Carpetland, Carpetland blamed the product, the manufacturer of the flooring blamed the install. and around and around it went. I wont go into all the details but I will tell you that Carpetland was the ONLY one that stepped up to take care of my issue and they genuinely care about doing the right thing even when no one is looking. It took some time but the end result is that Im very happy. Doug, Turner Ned and the rest of the Carpetland team did me right and I thought the rest of the internet should know.

The ppl came to install the new vinyl at the beginning of Sept 2013, at the end of the week we called them to inform them there was a bubble (really loose) in the walkway of the laundry room and kitchen doorway. Turner the sales man came out and looked at it the following week and said they would replace it in the laundry room. About 5-6 weeks after still hearing no word from them. We contacted them again, and he said he was going to call us that day (ya right..lol) So, Turner the sales man said that the installers would be there on Fri Nov 22nd to replace the messed up area. Friday afternoon we called to see when they were coming, Warehouse personal answered the phones, and said they knew nothing about anyone coming to Indep to fix the floor. We left a message for Turner to call us back. When he finally called us back about 4PM he flat out lied to us and told us the installers are running behind and they rescheduled us for this morning (Mon 11/25/2013) Very Bad Communication with this office!! The Vinyl was over 2000.00! Not that it was a cheep little thing. Never again will I or my family use Carpetland in Waterloo!!Rosemary Shelton, Diana Aldrich, Tina Peterson
