They have doing some rearranging since my last time being here. I like what they are doing. Looks good. Stating to spread out in the back of the store.

Some sections were sparse but probably due to seasonal changes. Staff is always helpful. Update: Went again today. Found exactly what we needed. Staff again helped us find it.

This location is great. I know most of the employees but the actual small town element is there. Very helpful in the store. If they dont know they will find out and find you. You dont see that much anymore. Great store.

They know how to prepare exceptional seafood. The Shrimp Bang Bang and Calamari apps were amazing! No rubber texture at all. The Rainbow Trout was superb.

They always have plenty of dog food in stock! Workers are all very nice and helpful! They also recently got a new automated popcorn machine so no more germy popcorn scoops! 😁

Rural King in Waterloo has a little bit of everything. They have quite a robust inventory most of the time. The only drawback is all the carts that need to be replaced.

I really like rural king. Always good music. I like the atmosphere, I get my chicken feed and cat food and cat litter there. Havent had free popcorn in awhile, but when they do have it its really good.

This store seems larger than other Rural King stores in the area.  The store is well stocked.  Management hasnt allowed the pandemic to adversely affect their supply chain.  The staff is highly helpful & courteous. There are some great deals to be had in here.

If you need about anything except groceries, and they even have some of those, this place is for you. My trip here was really just a fact finding mission because I wanted to know if they sold mature chickens. They dont.... just chicks.However, they sell just about everything else. Clothes, my wife got a Rural King hat, fishing gear, guns, small to medium farm equipment, home improvement stuff, pet toys and treats, and chicken feed. We left with peanut butter filled pretzels, pig ear treats, and the aforementioned hat. Got a pair of huge roosters that are fun to hear throughout the store.Place is definitely a little sloppy. Not a ton of effort in presentation. The other issue, and we may have hit them at a bad time, was when we checked out the lines were out of control and the staff really had no real sense of urgency to get the lines down. When we got up to checkout the checker wasnt rude, but wasnt exactly friendly either. Put a bit of a damper on the trip.

Pretty much anything you can imagine they have here in every category. Hunting, tools, farm supplies, clothes, shoes, food and household supplies. They have it . Can be overwhelming trying to find stuff at times but the staff is always and willing to help

Lots to look at friendly people great place

Usually love this place, but today was a nightmare, took a plant back, waited in line finally get waited on cant returns outside, go inside get into line they cant take you. You have to to to service desk really, can put more people outside plants all over and 1 register what joke. Guess they dont want to sell stuff.

Wifes favorite place! Prices always reasonable. Good selection of food/snack items, lawn care, tools etc.

I used to Love my Rural King in Murphysboro. Management changed and so did the store.

Everybody here is so nice and helpful. Besides being out of a few things, but thats pretty much everywhere. they have a big selection of items, and everywhere you turn, it seems like there is some one close by to help if you need it.

We went in to get a cage for our new pup. The 2 employees that helped us were really great. I wish we had time to explore more. We will next time were in the area.

Is bought a farmers hose This is the 2nd one that Ive bought in 5 years now I kept mine outside so thats not bad 5 years outside for a hose

Clean; a wide variety of farm and household goods present to choose from. A fun place to just look around!

Website is useless. Takes forever for the pages to load. Literally like old 1990s internet seed. Ordered from Home Depot website instead. Shopped and completed my order with Home Depot in less time it took for Rural Kings website to load their homepage. Not the first time Ive had this issue. Third time infact. I do not recommend this store.

Been buying firearms from here for the last 5 years, today they told me they can never sell me firearms again because I used a different debit card then my normal.also waited on the phone for over 30 minutes just to have to come in for them to tell me this. Got to say that’s terrible for business.

I stop by one of these anytime I get a chance. There arent any close to where I live. I go because of the selection of baby chicks they have.

It was wonderful! My husband and I went there to find some boots for myself. We found these cute Justin Work Boots that will be great for working on the ranch Im volunteering at!

They have good service. We buy Good Friends dog food which is high quality and less expensive. They have a wide variety of products.

One of my favorite stores! They’re old school and sell lots of local/US made products.I wish they’d get into selling cheese and dairy products. Especially now I think it would go over well and could help farmers who may not be able to sell to big grocery chains. Either way though, I love this store. :)

It is always worth the drive to go here! My husband is a welder and the only pants that fit right and last a while are the rural king jeans. Worth every penny every time!

I give this place a 1 star just based off the employees because we come and get big bags of hay every few weeks in the winter. These kids do not want to come out and load the hay in bags or nothing. They will literally give us the bags to load ourselves. Or they have it pre bagged under the trailer and it is wet and frozen. They also do not have a specific bar code to scan the price for the hay, they literally scanned a lawn mower part!! We have paid different prices everytime we come. Smh definatly have a set of lazy employees that do not communicate.

I love Rural King. My visit yesterday, however!!!!!Wearing a mask and it was extremely warm to hot in the store making it very hard to breathe.THENI asked an employee, a kid that was stocking close by, if they had cases of vinegar any other place?Ummm, I think this is the only place. Okay.They are stacked 6ft high. I said to him. I need 2 cases, can you help me? He looked at me and walked away.So, me at 5ft tall I managed to get 2 cases and get them in my cart, I look over and he is watching me!!!I get to the check out and the cashier asked do you need help loading these in your vehicle?No, thank you I have them handled now.
