Went today to change oil on my Accord Sport. Im glad I did come to Waterloo Honda, not some Joes Quick Oil Swap. Guys did complete check up and tuned up all loose ends to make the car safe. It was friendly, professional and didnt even cost a fortune. Also, man they have a lot of cool cars! I nearly traded mine for 2021 model ( see pic), but my wife said not to return home if I do that. All in all, Waterloo Honda is The One!

I brought my 2009 Accord in last week for service. Im not positive his name is Jason but Im pretty sure he was the guy who helped me out. I must say he was excellent and his service was perfect from start to finish. My bill was hefty for me but when I average it out over how long i have owned the car $500./year is not bad at all! The car now has 139,000 km and other than regular tune ups and oil change stuff I have needed little to no service for it. The guys in service are just great and I want to thank them all. So pleasant and go out of their way to make certain all is well. I would recommend this dealership 100% and that is high praise coming from me!!!!!

Do not get your vehicle serviced here. Waterloo Hondas average review may seem high, but look closer - it seems many people have a decent experience purchasing vehicles from this dealership, but a horrible experience with their service department.My experience with service here was just that - horrible.I purchased tires from Waterloo Honda and had some work done on my car. The service team made mistakes. They also sold me a defective tire. I followed up very shortly after the work was done and asked what they could do about a) the defective tire they sold me, and b) the fact that their team had made service errors. I first spoke with Rob Allan, Assistant Service Manager, who accepted no responsibility for his teams mistakes and proceeded to blame me for the defective tire. His response was that I would have to purchase a new tire and pay for installation again despite just having spent roughly $2,000 on service and tires.After this initial conversation with Rob I did some research and noticed that the tires I purchased were under a 60 day 100% satisfaction warranty with the tire manufacturer. Since I was not 100% satisfied I inquired with Rob to invoke the warranty. He then proceeded to inform me that I wouldnt be covered by the warranty, which ended up being untrue.While Robs response was completely unsatisfactory, it is what comes next that prompted me to give Waterloo Honda a 1/5 (I would give it a 0 if possible). After speaking with Rob, I spoke with his manager, Trevor Taylor, Parts Manager. During my call with Trevor, Trevor belittled me, was hostile and aggressive, and told me that if I wanted the warranty to be invoked I would have to do all of the paperwork with the tire manufacturer myself. Trevor claimed that the paperwork was too much of a hassle for him and his team. It was one of the worst calls I have ever had.After all of this, I reached out to the tire manufacturer myself who gave me absolutely no issues invoking the warranty. I then coordinated with a new auto shop who were happy to do the paperwork. The service I am now receiving at this new shop is leagues better than what I received at Waterloo Honda .

I can’t put all my frustration towards the dealership in words.They are not really price competitive but seem/claim to be.When you buy a vehicle from there, they give you the experience of buying vegetables at a farmer’s market.They don’t treat you well if you are an immigrant (concluded after discussing with local friends and acquaintances).Most of car dealerships are like this, but some places you don’t realize that you are being pushed in to spending extra money with warranties. Here at Waterloo Honda, you can feel the push.Let’s not discuss after sales service, which is worse. No additional perks of buying from here, rather go elsewhere they try to be gracious about your purchase even if they made you spend a lot.

Did not have a good experience here. I was looking to get a quote from here while searching for my next car and repeatedly stated I had no intention to make a commitment, but it appears this meant nothing to the salesman. I was constantly pressured into making a deal that same day even though I stated I was not willing to many times, but the answer to my statement would just be Ok but if you had to choose a number for you to commit today, what would it be. I would say I was not interested in making a deal, then be left for 20 minutes while he talked to his manager. Wasted an hour of my time with nonstop pressure trying to get me to commit all while I repeatedly said I was not comfortable with committing and did not want to.Only giving it 2 stars because I was able to test drive and the receptionist was nice.

Highly recommend Dan from Waterloo Honda! From start to finish he was was beyond accommodating and helpful. We didn’t once feel pressured into making any decisions that we didn’t feel comfortable with. The other staff we interacted with (financing, receptionist, etc) were very friendly, patient, and in tune with the purchase that we were making. They followed all Covid protocols and we felt safe during the whole process. I wish I could give Honda Waterloo a 0/5 rating. Worst experience leasing a vehicle I’ve ever had. Started bad, and ended worse. I paid extra for an appearance protection as well as other warranties. I tried for 6 months to get into service. Then they told me it would be a $365 early lease buyout fee, but when I went to settle, they said their fees changed overnight and now I owed $1000. I could write a novel of other things… it bottom line, they’ve lost all respect and both mine and my family’s business forever! Nothing good to say.

Second Car from Waterloo Honda .Financed a Honda Accord 2019 Sports (1.5T), brand new in 2019. Almost $45k from Waterloo Honda. Noticed after a few months the Car doesnt have a Digital speedometer in Km/hr instead it shows only miles/hr. Expressed my Concern with the Dealership.I was told in a very funny way that it is what it is, just follow the analog meter(the needle one).Well the Analog Speedometer was there too in my 2001 Honda Accord .Shocked to see their reaction. Even my 2017 model basic Honda Civic had a digital speedometer .I was being told the car is made in American market (somewhere in Ohio)and thats why it is miles/hr.Forwarding the concern to Honda itself and VP. Its not a joke to spend this much money and treated in a Non Technical way just to hide their own fault.Be careful to check your Car Odometer screen for your features

Do not appraise your car here.Very disappointed with their lies on what they would have to pay to fix. And yes they were lies. My husband and I are both mechanics and keep our vehicle in prime condition with all the records.My husband went in to get our vehicle appraised cause they stated an interest in it when we listed it for 15000 privately knowing they wouldnt give us that much cause they have to make money on it but maybe expected 10 000 or 11 000.Long story short they said the vehicle need a bunch of work (which it doesnt, new brakes new tires and in prime condition even the Subaru dealership said the vehicle was excellent condition and doesnt require any work other than a good detail) they offered 8000. Subaru offered 11 000.

Summary: my car was damaged and now they are ghosting me.Recently purchased a 2015 Honda Accord. Sales was a great experience working with Jorge.However, my experience with service has been off to a rough start so far. I cant help but feel ripped off as part of buying a car at a dealership is to get a detail. The interior detail was very poorly done with dirt, smudges, and the previous owners hygiene products being left in the car. Whats worse is after returning to get the detail done properly, the car was returned dirtier than I left it, and there was even some minor damage done to the inside panels of the car. I unfortunately had to get back to work since I was picking up the car on my lunch break.I left 2 voicemails with Mark Snowden, as well as sent an email to Mark Snowden and Rob Allan and never heard back from anyone. I am not very impressed with the way I have been treated after the sale has been done at this point.Sales was 5/5.Service was 0/5 at this point - damaging my car when it was supposed to be detailed and then ghosting me is absurd.

The staff was amazing, and the booking for my car was fairly easy. I was informed about a recall covered by warranty, my tires will be changed, and a second key made. They made a first time car owner/driver feel good.

I literally recommend you purchase in Waterloo Honda. I signed my used car Hr-v today here. I met a sales consultant Damir who did an amazing job of helping me with everything. Even though I suggested my condition several times, he was always nice and professional to meet it.

My overall experience with the dealership was good!Since the beginning Scott was helpful in a professional way, we spent 2:30 hrs negotiate back an forth with Chris his manager and Scott himself, he tried to accommodate to my needs, and we finally were able to reach an agreement after a couple of hours. The process was seem less and overall smooth. The only thing that bother me, and it something that I saw mentioned in past reviews, was that one of the business manager, after we spent so much time trying to make my payment affordable, and inside my budget, he started to try and sell me their GAP insurance, and I understand that this might be something that they have to mention, they have to sell, it might be a KPR, or metric that they have to meet per month. But I declined it 4 times in person, 1 over the phone, it was too much that I asked that the day that my car was delivered to me, to please change persons. At some point it felt disrespectful, you say no one or two times, but then the fourth, fifth and even sixth time is too much.At the end I am happy with my car and I am hoping I can put my trust in this dealership and their staff that they are genuinely trying to help me and their customers, only time will tell.

I wondered into Waterloo Honda simply looking for a test drive without much expectations. After speaking to Mr Greg Higgins however the experience was much more personable then what I expected. He was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and super accomodating even during these unprecedented times we are living in. Greg was able to answer any concerns I had while maintaining a level of friendship throughout the whole encounter. Would definitely not hesitate to purchase a car from him or Waterloo Honda in the future.

I made an appointment with a sales man his name is DAVE HOWES, met with him at the dealership, the receptionist took our temperature and made us fill it a questions list for our protection (covid) and the staff.Very professional staff, Dave explained the vehicle that I was interested in very thoroughly, this man is professional .I recommend this dealership and this salesman to all .

Over a decade ago Jorge help me purchase my first Accord, I came back to the dealership this week and was immediately recognized. Unbelievable I was really taken back. I just picked up my brand new Honda Civic. This is the second Civic that we have purchased from Jorge Sandoval at Waterloo Honda. I met Mike A. after my 2002 Odyssey finally gave up the ghost this past September after 18 years of faithful service and over 602,000 km. I told Mike that I wasnt interested in a new vehicle but I wanted to get the most vehicle that I could get within my budget. Mike listened to me and he took good notes. It took a while but Mike came up with a previously owned Odyssey that met my exact specifications. I picked it up yesterday.. Some things are worth waiting for. Mike did a great job throughout my car buying process. His efforts to find the right vehicle for me exceeded my expectations. I look forward to working with Mike on finding my next vehicle when the time comes. That might not be for some time though because I did just buy another Honda after all..
