Very helpful, answered phone immediately, very kind and understanding
Customer service at this location was poor. The fax machine was not pulling the paper through properly. When asked if they could make a copy of the document to see if that would help, they informed us they would charge us. It was clear to see the damage the roller from the fax was doing to our document. It didnt seem to make sense to us that we would be charged for their faulty equipment. The attendant was inexperienced and lacked any sort of ambition to assist us with our needs. We will not return.
I came in to this location yesterday a little after 5 pm. I work from 8 am - 5 pm. I have a child that I have to pick up from daycare after I get off at 5. It’s hard for me to get up there before they close. I was able to make the trip up there after work before close yesterday. The girl that was working didn’t really understand how to work the printers for what I was needing done. I needed to print return addresses on the back of some envelopes. We tried a few things together and it didn’t work. The phone was ringing off the hook and the girl made a comment, “You can keep calling all you want, doesn’t mean I’m going to answer.” It rubbed me the wrong way considering I was calling the day prior to even see if this is something I could do and find out the best time prior to coming up there. I didn’t say anything though. I was nothing but polite to her. She called someone, I’m assuming her boss and had him on speaker and he said I’d have to come in at 12 pm when another girl who knew how to work the other printer was working. I had to come in today during my lunch hour, like I explained to the girl that was working last night. I get there a little after 12 today and the girl that was working told me she would try and get them printed but she didn’t want to ruin my envelopes. I go out to my car to get some extras. She then tells me it’s going to take an hour for her to configure the envelopes and I’d have to come back later. I’m like... uh okay can you at least try and print on one of the envelopes I have to see if it works? She’s like I mean it’s going to take an hour at least. I told her I’m on my lunch hour and i didn’t want to make another trip up here to get my envelopes especially if it doesn’t work. She basically walked away and said I mean we’re busy so that’s how long it’s going to take me to reconfigure the document. I’m like I know... I’ve been dealing with this for several days. The document was a PDF that was already configured to A5 envelopes. All she had to do was just adjust the printer properties real quick to see if it worked and then I wouldn’t have had an issue coming up there again. I’m not going to make a 3rd trip out there for an unfinished project. I said to her I mean the least you guys can do is answer the phones when people call you off the hook. Then the older guy comes out, I’m assuming the boss who was on the phone yesterday, trying to I guess intimidate me? I don’t know. He said the girl that worked last night was in high school. I said I understand that, didn’t give her a hard time at all. I said the LEAST you could do is answer your phones. He said well we’re not going to answer the phone when we’re helping customers... okay so why not respond to the voicemails?? I don’t understand why my request was handled like it was some huge issue. I don’t know, but I will not be coming back here and will tell everyone I know in the area to not go here. It was nothing but one huge inconvenience for me.
After attempting to call this store several times... (The first 2 were answered by a voice mail, the rest were just busy signal,) I drove the 35 miles to the store to find out if they print. I was met by a very young girl who seemed to be working by herself. She said they dont print, even though its on their website and on several signs throughout the store. Then, she told me I should have called first. REALLY!?!🤣
Shipped package with them for an ebay order and asked for it to be insured for what the buyer paid, had them box and package hoping it would be properly packaged. The owner right away said is that how much it was new otherwise you wont get anything. Shipped and arrived the next day very damaged of course. Tried to call them but their phone only goes to voicemail at all times of the day so had to drive up there. Provided all photos and contact information. Two days later they start the claim process but are asking for recipients information again and asking to save the box and packing materials like I have control of that. Attempted to call again to make sure they have everything but cant because they have the phone go straight to voicemail. Doubt I get refunded anything...
If I could give a zero I would. I sent original citizenship documents to Canada and the envelope never even made it out of Belleville IL. I was then told a claim was made, though a week later no one contacted me. I called UPS back again and was told it was closed they couldnt find it and the shipping store would handle a refund. I left a message at the store to which no one called me back, I finally spoke with the manager today, days later who told me after they take your payment they have no accountability for anything?! I am appalled that a business owner would take no responsibilty for their business and in no way try to even look into the situation or resolve the issue. I have since paid $275 for a new citizenship card that will take 6-8 months to process and had to pay that out of my own pocket. This location is shameful in its business practices and I will never be returning to their location nor would i advise anyone to use their services.
Rude for the second time. Walked in and was immediately told someone else was ahead in front of me when I took my place 15 feet away from counter. ( Wasnt gonna cut.) Even though my return email said I could take to UPS to return I was told the code was USPS. I had a few Amazon items I could have returned but I could tell they didnt want to deal with me so I will take my stuff to my friendly shipping place.
The old man had an issue today when I brought in returns. Immediately when I walked in with two boxes, he said are those Amazon returns and I said yes, he rolled his eyes and literally stomped to the back.I’m not really sure what the problem is but I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re there for, I would assume it’s just pure laziness on his part. I asked him numerous times if there was a problem as he ignored my existence while the girl assisted me. Never had an issue here with an employee or retuning my amazon packages before.
Staff is great, the owner like most of these stores is an extremely unpleasant person to deal with. I dont understand how corporate allows these franchisees to treat their customers this way!? As another reviewer mentioned, the impetus for this review had to do with the way I was treated when bringing in a prepaid labeled packages - It doesnt matter if its an Amazon package / return or some other corporate companies prepaid ups label, franchisee owners are rude partially due to the fact that they are not compensated enough to make it worth their time, so if you come in with one theyre going to treat you like dirt.FYI this guy owns at least two other stores in the St Louis MO area, one on Watson road and the other in Arnold. This is not just an issue at this guys store, although hes one of the worst!UPS corporate needs to fix their compensation and watch their franchisee owner reviews so they can deal with this issue. We are all forced to deal with UPS just as if they were the United States Postal Service because theyre becoming a requirement to deal with since we all have to deal with the Amazons of the world That require us to use UPS. These corporations like UPS are certainly aware of this issue and hide behind the fact that these are franchisee stores, which is what the rep indicated when I called the 800 number, she told me to go ahead and put stuff on social media, otherwise nothings going to get done. If UPS wanted to fix the problem they would change the rules. Theyre obviously doing something wrong to create the kind of environment that allows owners like this to behave this way.
The UPS store in Monroe County is so handy and helpful! We use USPS for shipping small items but large items need special care and we can depend on The UPS Store every time for their expertise and efficiency. In fact, our church group often collects boxes that need shipping from all of our Church Moms and we make one visit to UPS for everyone because we all have busy schedules. The UPS staff does not mind all the packages and are very patient with us (we ship alot of donated items to charities all over the U.S. from our various church groups). We hope UPS stays in Monroe County indefinitely!
Great customer service...friendly staff..good packaging...
Great people, they get you in and out fastAnd they do more then just shipping!
I’m so glad the UPS store is in Waterloo Il. I have had to return a few packages.....They always email me my return label. I DO NOT have a WiFi printer. I took my first package to them, they were able to print the label for me and I was on my way. I just had to return another package, I just forwarded it to them, got there it was printed ready to go. Fantastic service!!!
Great service, very polite
