He was very knowledgeable about the cars and was able to guide me through the process without being pushy at all. He also had a great sense of humor which always helps. I was in and out of the dealership within an hours time total test drive and all, and I returned a few days later to pick up the car. The Woman I worked with in F&I was very easy to deal with ( I wish I could remember her name) Overall I found the car I wanted in clean condition and they worked with me to get the deal done. I would not hesitate to refer anyone who is looking for a Subaru to purchase here. I am so impressed that I plan to do all of my vehicle servicing here as well! Overall just a great experience.

Recently requested oil change tire rotation and new wiper blades along with some help in using gps system! I was told there would be a charge of 159$ for the gps instruction even tho I was never demonstrated this when purchasing the car! 4 weeks later the battery died .I found this unacceptable for a car that had just turned 4 years old and reported the gps incident to the company manager and told her not to try to finance their new showroom overnight with their regular or for that fact any loyal customers!
Do not take their word (from the service department) as the truth. There is a big chance they did Not check your air filter and fluids during your oil change. I purposely left a filthy air filter in the car before an oil change. I always write the date and mileage on the sides of the air filter when it was changed. So I knew it was about a year past due. This time as usual, they swore that they did check the air filter and everything else. They also skipped over checking the dirty air filter for several oil changes prior to this. Yes they are going to put their spin on this feedback. I have nothing to gain, they cant afford anyone to learn the truth. Double check their work with a separate trusted non-Subaru dealer repair shop. If it is a major repair double check with a private car repair shop before you commit yourself to a repair with Subaru. I stopped going to these guys for service. Sorry, I can not trust you guys, plus your service and repair jobs are more expensive than the rest.
I’m writing this review On my office PC. We bought a oil change plan it was priced very good. I sent my wife in for the oil change. The sales person sold everything under the sun plus the oil change. I asked them not to upsell her. They were underhanded and tried to express the need of things to be done at that particular time. We have a small child she was nervous about the car. We had an argument over this because of their negligence and upselling tactics we do not recommend this company for anyone!

He never pressured me at all and answered all of my questions promptly.I concluded the sales process with their business manager, Joe Hernandez who made finalizing everything a seamless process. He didnt pressure me into buying anything extra and didnt try and sell me anything I didnt need.If youre in the process of buying a new Subaru, I cant recommend them enough.
Very disappointed! We have been waiting 4 weeks for a vehicle to go through the inspection process for my son-in-law. I FINALLY received a notice that the car was ready to purchase. I responded to the salesman that my son-in-law was out of town but I would come down after work and put a deposit on the vehicle for him until he returned. As I was on my way to the dealership (I am only 15 minutes away) I received a text that the car was sold. This was literally as I was driving to the dealership. Upon my arrival, I am told that the salesman should have had me make the deposit over the phone. I would have absolutely done this, but was not told to and therefore thought after all this time waiting, the car would be there for us. The new sales manager went to look for another vehicle that was comparable to the one we wanted, but that vehicle was at the same point where it was not pictured yet so we would be waiting AGAIN! I have purchased 3 vehicles in the past year from here and sent several people to this dealership in the past year. Now we go with no vehicle because when I asked the salesman if we should look else where while waiting for the initial inspection? I was told no, we would get the vehicle. Never again will I go there for ANYTHING!Add to the post as the response below is unacceptable! If you read the text messages you will see that I was NEVER asked to make a deposit over the phone. In conversation when I arrived to the dealership, I was told that supposedly AJ stated to me to pay a deposit over the phone and I replied no. That is not the case as I would have gladly done that to ensure the security of the vehicle. There were several times that AJ could have requested that for me to do that. It took over an hour for him to reply at all. Please ensure to read the full times. 9:02 am with an immediate response, then 10:56 am with an immediate response that I would come down after work to out the deposit. No additional replies until the vehicle was sold at 4:47pm. This is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE!
My experience 3 years ago was pleasant when I purchased my outback from Premier in Watertown. I wanted to get into a new Subaru Outback again so I had called the parts department a few months back to price some accessories I was interested in for my possible new vehicle. A woman answered the phone in the parts department and said “parts hold” and slammed the phone on the counter without putting me on hold first. After a couple of minutes, she picked up the phone. I told her I wanted to price some Subaru accessories and I also stated it would be polite if you waited for a response from the customer before abruptly making them wait. I guess she did not like what I said because she placed the phone down again while looking up the items.She mistakenly assumed because I might not be or sound Latino, I would not understand what she said in Spanish and she said some not so nice things about me to her coworker.Annoyed I ended up calling the Subaru dealership in Torrington for parts prices and they were very friendly and helpful. I even ended up buying a new outback there. Maybe with their new building being built they might want to get some new employees.
Beware of the $400 they try to sneak into every sale. $300 VIN etching and $99 Nitrogen filled tires are being listed as Dealer Fees when they already have them on the car. Automatic profit per sale if you dont say anything before you sign the purchase order. Ill be looking elsewhere.*RESPONSE TO BELOW*VIN Etching and Nitrogen Tire Fills are 2 of the biggest scam add-ons that car dealers call fees. Im sorry, but if you are selling a car on the lot that has Etched windows and Nitrogen filled tires, you should account for that in the price of the vehicle, not as a forced add-on.From my conversation with the salesperson via email, which was an active negotiation NOT a simple quote.Lifetime nitrogen tire service and VIN etch is already on the Forester and it is not included in the sale price posted. No dealer posts fees in there sale price.

Just bought a certified 2017 Subaru Outback Limited from Premier. I went there for a specific vehicle I had found online and Hector Salazar had the car ready for me when I got there and made the transaction the easiest vehicle purchase I’ve ever had. Hector, Mike, and everyone I dealt with were courteous and friendly...and without any aggressive sales pitches. I will definitely do business with this dealership again in the future. My wife loves my Subaru so much that we might be back sooner than expected.

I worked with Sarah at Premier and financing was done by Joe. I bought a brand new 2017 Impreza Sport and I could not be happier. I currently am a college student and they both looked at the best options/packages and it turned out I was better off buying new than used due to end of month/end of year deals! My Dad has had horror stories at other dealers on the same strip and he was more than happy with the clarity, transparency, and all fees that were being applied. I definitely recommend!!! We paid for them to register our plates and send them to our new address (we were moving) and they sent them to our old address, so they were lost. When we asked them about it the GM Joe said Its not my car anymore edit: I’ve seen the reply to this. I will not be taking it down, what I’ve said is accurate. We were in the process of moving to CT and said so, and we moved to CT 15 days after we purchased the car. If we were advised to register in CT we would have done so. 2 employees at the dealership both said they would mail the plates wherever we wanted. If this was against policy, both were misinformed. I’m not sure where the idea of avoiding CT sales taxes came from, we actually had to pay NY taxes, pay to register the car in NY, then pay again to register in CT.

I am editing my review after receiving a very passive aggressive and incorrect response from Kerri Pacheco- Vice President and General Manager of this establishment. I received an estimate for over $3900 for a total of 4 repairs at this Subaru dealership (photo attached). Now- everyone and their mother was telling me that these prices were too high. So, I respectfully took my car elsewhere. This is when I found out the all of these repairs (with the exception of the left ball joint because there was no issue with it- something I know how to evaluate myself) PLUS 2 of my break pads and rotors being completely replaced could be done for a total of $1950. Tell me Kerri- are $3900 and $1950 a difference of $200? Its shocking that someone in your position can have such poor math skills. Clearly, I was getting ripped off, but you can try to deny that again. Also in the response to my previous review you mentioned I had never been to your dealership before- this is incorrect. On June 15, 2020 I came in to get a sensor issue checked out, since my tire pressure light seems to have a malfunction. However, there was no record of my appointment that was made A WEEK in advance and when I learned that the diagnostic fee was over $150 just to look at an obvious sensor issue- I again respectfully declined service and refrained from leaving a review. Please take your business elsewhere. Im still shocked.

I cannot speak highly enough of Shannon in the service department! I had a warranty problem with my 2020 Crosstrek. She immediately came out to the car to check the dashboard warning lights before I turned off the vehicle to drop it off. She was in constant contact with me while the service department did diagnostic testing. The car did not cooperate, so they needed to keep it overnight and she supplied me with a loaner. When it was time to get the loaner, she literally ran to get the vehicle for me so it was ready when my paperwork was completed.I have never had better customer service!
Ease of scheduling appointment, service manager was great - keeping me informed throughout the day with the progress of my car. A loaner car was readily available ans was sanitized for my use. I have chosen to travel here vs. a local dealer because of the service department.

Would probably not buy another Subaru...not sure. Its only a year old. However, I most likely would not buy it from Premier Subaru in Watertown. I was apprehensive about the selling process. In retrospect, I should have trusted myself. Im less than confident when I leave the dealership after having them perform service on the vehicle.

Just had a catalytic converter replaced. Vehicle has 137000 miles and they covered the entire job plus 8 additional parts. This would have cost me upwards of $2500. . I contacted this dealership via the internet, about a newer Forester that recently caught my eye. I had previously bought a premium version at another dealership closer to home, was really unhappy about it as I way over paid for what it was worth and had negative equity. I had been searching high and low for a XT version of the Forester and this one I saw was the one!! It had everything, and at a very reasonable price. I was so excited I decided to come down a few days before my appointment and then was acquainted with Florin Testea, then Joe Hernandez and Gretchen (the Finance manager). Gretchen and Joe worked really hard on getting me approved because of my situation. They were patient and went above and beyond to make my dreams come true on this, last of its kind (Unicorn) XT!! I was more than happy to drive out of my way to this dealership because of all the above, as I live 30 mins away

I visited Premier Subaru after researching a used cars online, and had decided on a used Crosstrek. I met Sean when I came in to the dealership, and from the moment I met him he made me feel comfortable and was clearly interested in what I wanted, and not just pushing me towards a particular vehicle. In the end, Sean helped me select a new Subaru that was right for me, based on listening to what I wanted, and the price point I was working to. Sean explained everything that would be needed before I came in to collect my new Subaru, and when I came in to complete my purchase my experience was equally easy. Adam in the Finance office got me through the loan paperwork seamlessly, and I was out of the dealership in my new Subaru in an hour. I would definitely recommend Premier Subaru, and Sean too as a great, customer focused representative to work with.

We bought a 2015 Outback at Premier Subaru in Watertown and had a great experience. Mark Haislip helped us out and was great. Very laid back, not pushy at all. Knew the car well, spent the time to go over all the features on the initial test drive and after I purchased it as well. And Mark was very patient with me (my husband was at work and I brought my 3 year old and infant with me!!!) Highly recommend.
I have a Subaru Outback that occasionally get serviced at this location. A great job is done all the time. I sit in the waiting room until my car has been taken care of and sip on free complimentary hot tea. A very nice place to get your car serviced at. Michael and Shannon they work the Customer Service front desk and always provide quality customer satisfaction regardless of the issue.
Very pleased. I have not even purchased the car yet and Im thrilled with the experience thus far. What a breath of fresh air to have a friendly, non manipulated hour at the dealership without pressure. Im going back this weekend to finish up and Im absolutely comfortable with it. Imagine, if you will, the perfect car buying experience. Now go to Premier, there will be no pushy salesmen with bad comb-overs and cheap polyester suits. The contracts are easy to read and not filled with fifteen million fees. Their showroom is not glossed over to give you a sense of how rich they are, it is low key and down to earth. My wife would like me to add that our salesperson, Sarah, was helpful and honest. We will go back here for our next Subaru and recommend to friends and family.One disclaimer; I was asked to write this review by the sales manager. Even so, the review is factual and true.
Simple and straight forward.I searched a vehicle on line, requested info, Michael called me and set me up with a salesman (John Risk).John was great, showed me a vehicle right away, gave me three pricing options. All very reasonable. Made a deal and picked up the car a few days later.Eric then showed me the tech features of the car.All were great associates but I dealt mostly with John and he was professional, personable, relatable, knowledgeable, and efficient.Great all around experience.
Hector Salazar just sold me my new Subaru Crosstrek. Hector and all Subaru employees are amazing ! The customer service is the best I will never go anywhere else!
AVOID AT ALL COST. My wife and 2 year old daughter came in to get a noise in the car checked out. They were told she needed about 4 thousand dollars worth of work including front control arms and told her it was UNSAFE to drive. We took it to my Brother in Laws mech just to find out the car didnt need the arms at all! It needed bearings which they quoted her $1100 for!!! He did them for 400 They saw her coming, lady with a baby and tried to charge her for a bunch of misc parts she doesnt need. Thanks Premier Subaru Watertown of taking advantage of my wife, if you were a person, Id punch you in the mouth
Sarah was excellent, personable and knowledgeable about leasing opportunities. I recommend working with her if youre looking to lease or buy. There was no pressure and she was happy to share her own experience about leasing the impreza and cross trek. Overall good experience!
I leave my 5 star review based on my experience getting a 2019 lease with their sales consultant Robert. He was a pleasure to work with, got me the numbers I wanted to see and made sure we were on the same page. Carmine and Sherry were knowledgeable and easy to work with as well. The initial paperwork/test drive etc took us over the closing time about an hour. When we went to pickup the car it look us over the closing time as well but neither one of those times did we feel rushed or made uncomfortable. I will leave another review after I’ve had interaction with their service department as this one was solely based on my interaction with sales/finance.

This organization is run by the most professional people I have seen, from the general manager, Ms. Kerri Pacheco, service manager, Ms. Stephanie Martinelli, and service advisor, Mr. Jason Contois.Their service is excellent, and the pricing on service and parts is fair and competitive.Their customer service and care is above excellent -one of the best I have seen, and I recommend them without any reservation.

First let me say I live 3 miles away from one Subaru dealership and 6 miles away from a second. My wife and I drove 30 miles to buy a car from Premier. Why? Because although the other dealerships told us they wanted to earn our business, the staff at Premier actually did that. They were friendly upon meeting us and professional throughout the process even after the sale when I had additional questions. The drive was worth it and I would not hesitate to send anyone there. My wife and I just bought a Forester from Premier, and we had a great experience with Chris. He was extremely helpful, not too pushy, got us a great deal, and made the buying experience easier than we expected. We arrived in the morning looking to buy and drove our new car off the lot the same day! Our experience with Premier was much more positive than the last Subaru dealership we had been to, where the sales associate didnt seem to care one way or the other whether or not we bought a car from him. We love our new Forester, and wed definitely come back to Premier if we decide to get another Subaru in the future.
