Wanted a doorknob that locks on 1 side & is plain on the other. They exist but Menards didnt have them. Otherwise 5 stars.

We shop this Menards often. They always have a great selection of items, they run 11% quite often which is a huge plus, and the staff is helpful. We were able to get a lot of our doors for our new house in their clearance door section and they looked brand new! They run sales often. This store is always clean and the items are easy to find. I always plan on speding extra time here because there are so many sections my husband wants to look in and then so many I want to look in. This location currently requires masks to be worn. The only downside currently is we arent even through Sept and there is already Christmas stuff out. We love Halloween and looking through all the decorations, but when you turn a corner to Christmas decorations, it kinda bums you out. I hate to rush the holidays!

Its always a nice experience to go to Menards in watertown, SD, they always seem to be very helpful, and they have a large selection. They have a lot of hardware and supplies that helps you when renovating an Older House, that some of the other hardware stores may not have. This is a large hardware store with a HomeTown feel.

Menards is one of the Midwests best kept secrets! Youve got all your home improvement areas that youd expect from a Lowes or Home Depot but in what feels like a more spacious and clean setting (at least in this store). Theres clothing, indoor furniture and a well-stocked automotive section. Menards even sells groceries! Theyre mostly non-perishable items but I found myself stocking up after seeing how reasonably priced everything was. The only downside is having to listen to the youll save big money, jingle on the sound system the whole time youre in there.. thats got to get old if youre an employee.

Hard to get any help and when you do they dont know anything also just basic homeowner stuff you cant get anything quality that lasts...Home Depot is way better

Its quiet and clean. They dont harass you about masks anymore like they used to.

Menards is one of my favorite places to go. For looking around window shopping for things Id like to get for my home or for getting things for any project I have. They usually have atleast a couple different options for whatever it is youre looking for.

There were Menards personnel at desks in the three departments I used as well as the floor. They told me where each of the items were and even out back a fork lift operator helped me find concrete countertop mix. Also all the customers and personnel wore masks. Menards cares about my shopping experience, I must conclude.

Clean store, friendly staff. Someone stopped to help me and were very knowledgeable on what item I should buy. In and out quickly.

The mask mandate at Menards is a bit ridiculous. I cannot believe they worry about masks when the bathrooms are filthy and spreading more germs than breathing normal.

I have never had a bad customer service in this store until today. My grandson, who is 5, handsome change that saved.andwanted today for a toy. Hehadhismask onandwhenhetriedtogivehischange to the cashier, she loudly said No and said move over there(pointing to the end of the check out lane). When he tried to pay for his toy again she repeated loudly No. My grandson was just devastated by the way she treated him.I think the management should be training their employees on how to treat customers especially children who dont understand why she wouldnt take his money and was mean to him. If anyone goes there and is treated like that report it to the manager.

The local Menards is always friendly and generally has just what you need to get the job done.

Went to menards looking for a cabinet to match my existing cabinets. There was a guy with an English accent that knew more about cabinets than anybody I’ve ever met. He was so good at his job, he knew the type of wood, the style, and the finish just by looking at a sample I had. That guy deserves a raise.

I generally like Menards, but this location is definitely above average for the chain. The store was clean, but merchandise was particularly well displayed. I had less trouble finding what I was looking for than a usual Menards trip.

Service was polite and quick.

Will never shop at Menards again. Though face coverings have been proven to do NOTHING in the fight of this covid joke, they are insisting I wear one. I will not bow to this nonsence. I will shop elsewhere.

Drove an hour to buy something that the website said they had one of. Got there and the one that they had was the display model. If you dont have one to sale! Dont say you have one to sell!

Worst experience of my life... I will never buy another thing from menards. And they should notify customers of return policy. When you spend 800 bucks on something and go to use it once, and it doesnt even work, at that point its not returnable.

Friendly staff, great prices

I do like Menards, they have decent prices on a lot of things. You just have to know your prices because some things are very overpriced here. If you can take advantage of the rebates they have you can get some things for cheap or even free here. Just take into account it could take up to half a year to get your rebate back.

This store is always clean and clear isles. Employees are helpful and prompt. You dont have to wait in line like you do in some stores.

Have to pay an entrance fee, called forcing the purchase of a mask, this is messed up, if you want people to wear one, provide one for your customers, dont force them to purchase.

Menards is great store. They are primarily a do it yourself hardware store, but what makes them much better than Lowes, Home Depot, and other large chains is their versatility to the market they are in. They carry other essentials there as well including appliances, food, work clothing, home furnishing, decorations, etc. that make it a one stop store for many needs. Their prices are usually really great, and the Watertown, SD Menards has great customer service.

I love Menards. Sometimes I go there just to walk around and enjoy the glory of tools and material.

The sales representatives at their store know right where everything is and are always happy to show you. When Ive had questions about a project Im working on they do their best to answer my questions if at all possible.

Things were messed up on our garage door. Departments need to talk to each other between ordering and shipping. What a pain lost my patience with all the stupidity and their blank looks that they had no idea what to do. Just sad no one cares anymore and their training program is missing something.

Bought lumber for a deck people where not helpful at all..all they did was point you in the direction of where things where at only person who was nice and helpful was the gentlemen working the gate while their where two guys messing around on the forklifts in the yard did not ask if we needed help went inside to get cement again did not get help just pointed in the direction where to go just standing around and talking each other not happy at all
