A cute stop with lots of souvenirs and travel stuff for children and quick bite to eat. The usual quick pizza, etc. fare.

This fuel stop reminds me of walking into the common Chinese food restaurant where there are written directives everywhere telling the customer how to act and what to do. It’s awesome getting greeted with cold stares from the local employees as well. A visitor happening to stop by this gas station would automatically feel the sensation that they pulled into the wrong neighborhood and the need to get out of town quickly. I always wondered why producers in Hollywood portray midwesterners as being rough, rugged, impolite, dirty, and dumb but I figured it out. They stopped at P&L fuel stop in Watertown and found all of their inspiration there.

The best part about the pizza I got there at 6PM was that based on its condition once I opened it was that it was placed in the case pre-covid.

Place is okay. But has the most annoying amount of signage for silly things. 4 signs that say restrooms for customers only on the doors to the building and in the store, $3 minimum transaction for cards, signs taped up everywhere for everything. Lord forbid you just need to get gas and use the restroom.

Some of the slowest gas pumps I’ve ever used. If you’re in somewhat of a hurry or have a long drive ahead of you, I suggest stopping somewhere else to get fuel unless you want to spend more time here than you normally would pumping gas.

Hot stuff pizza and a quick stop off the interstate.

This gas station is one of the last places on this planet that carries Blue Bunny Malt Cups in the freezer section - that is enough for me to fuel up here every time I am passing through Watertown. Most of the staff members are also friendly, which is a plus. Would if I could remove a half star because the bathrooms are occasionally a bit messy (this station is often busy, so that is understandable) and there is a minimum limit on credit machine (I also understand businesses have to pay per transaction, but who carries cash these days?). Overall, still a great fuel stop!

Clueless staff. Guy helped with pump that wasnt pumping fast so he pulls out the nozzle while its running and pours gas all over the side of my car and the ground, I grabbed the pump nozzle out of his hand and clicked it off lol.
