My 18yr old daughter who is a US soldier went to this gas station while she was at drill one weekend. She went to fuel up her car for her 3 hour drive home. She experienced some issues with her debit card and it would not work to pay her fuel. She called me upset, crying, and completely embarrassed of the situation. I tried to pay for the fuel over the phone and the clerk refused. We even transferred more money into her account and the card still wouldn’t work!! My daughter asked again if I could pay other phone and the clerk still refuses, all the while my soldier is standing there in uniform crying and embarrassed. I ask to speak with the clerk. I explain to the clerk that her card is not working and what would she like for us to do. I explained to her that my soldier needed to report for duty in 10 minutes or she would get into trouble....the clerk didn’t care. I asked her is it normal practice for her to humiliate US soldiers the way she was humiliating mine. They clerk set the phone down and once again refused to help my soldier. My daughter had them run her card multiple times and it still wouldn’t work...the clerk still wouldn’t help. My daughter continues to cry while on the phone with me. The clerk finally decided that she was going to pay for my daughter’s gas. She folds the receipt up looks at my daughter and says you owe me money. My will pay her back but for her to go through all this and for some cold hearted person to do this to her is unacceptable. You have some disgusting staff working there Prairie Stop!!
