Had a weird experience at the self checkout, wherein one employees just swooped in, pushes my friend aside, does some counting and scans the item herself all without saying a single word. We didnt even know she was an employee until she scanned her badge. Would probably never visit this place again.

This store used to be good once upon a time. Nothing is ever in stock here. Bare shelves. All the markets around the area are stocked but never this one. It was convenient because it’s in walking distance but I only come here for last minute things now.

Again rather expensive, just like Star market. Youll save more money at market basket thats for sure. But I dont know if youll find the selection like you will at stop & shop. They have all the major brands, and plenty of it. Also really big isles, which is great. All in all the good supermarket. But you will pay a little extra for the selection and the size of the store. So be prepared to dig a Little deeper if you go here.

This Ikea-style restaurant comes with all the bells and whistles: dairy, produce, dry stock, a whole double-wide aisle devoted to seasonal candy and snow shovels. It also boasts an impressive four international sections: British, Mexican, Asian, and Pasta. The single frozen aisle is remarkable; one side holds a good sampling of breakfast foods, meats, and veggies, and prepared entrees. The other side holds every brand and flavor of ice cream that has ever existed. Theres a secret hidden frozen section with a less impressive selection of frozen pizza across from the candles. The self-checkout is quick. The cashiers are slower than some stores but much friendlier. The store is clean, well-lit, and well-stocked.

Good reliable stop& shop, offers many services.

Packaged stuff is fine.Fruit is often terrible. But I love the aisle cleaner, or whatever it does. Nothing like feeling something hovering over you and looking around to see the tall, dark shoppers companion.

I recently rode my bike here to get some groceries and was appalled at the condition of the bike rack. Many of the bars are so rusted that theyve fallen out of the rack, and the rest arent far behind. Be careful where you lock your bike, because most of its not secure.

Its a great place to go to and get your groceries. They have plenty of food and fresh vegetables. The restock person was really helpful to telling me where the Italian San pellegrino was located. The self checkout woman was really friendly.

Continue to demand mask wearing even though one is vaccinated.

The crowds weren’t too bad when I went grocery shopping today—pandemic controlled crowd. The store was stocked decently for Thanksgiving products.I did ask a meat clerk (could have been the meat manager with glasses) about having fresh turkeys, and he couldn’t give me eye contact when I asked him the question—a turnoff to the paying customer. I had to say hello to him first, I’m the customer.It’s like he didn’t want to be bothered.Also, the dairy department had a few yogurts past the expiration date (November 16th). Dairy clerks need to start checking dates on products, and rotating products as well.The service department was fine—friendly cashier, the bagger was an older guy so didn’t expect much from him with the pandemic.Overall, not a bad experience. I do prefer the Pleasant Street Stop & Shop much better though.The store is laid out better with products.

Atmosphere dim. employees all seem uhappy there. Its very close to home so go there only for convenience.

All is good, except for the black lady at the self-checking area. She’s rude, slow and irresponsible! Every customer hates her! She should be removed for god’s sakes!

I like this location for many reasons. Stop & Shop always has sales and great prducts. I shop at this location for many reasons. The staff are always willing to help you when needed. The lines move pretty quickly and hardly a wait. The staff are professional, making sure they keep the store safe and clean.

Really nice employees here. I needed help finding my favorite kombucha and they were right on it! Stop and shop has really stepped up their organic/natures game recently and it has not gone unnoticed!

A good option for local groceries, sometimes rows and row selections are confusing. Most of the time assortment is good but changes brands a lot which can make it unreliable. Have been a regular there because it is convenient and has ample parking.

Service great, pizza sections needs to include Open Nature regular thin crust cheese.

Very good to see the fresh produce at the entrance!Has most things you need and more.I wish they carried more quality ethnic product options.The inhouse food that they make is quite bad. Eg wings, sandwiches, flat breads.Paper bags need handles! Very hard to carry groceries home. (I usually use my own bags.... But during covid it wasnt allowed and sometimes you just forget to bring them)I did not see covid precautions like sanitizing carts and baskets or checkout counters. No extra enforcement towards people (customers) who dont wear a mask. Or wear it on their chin.

Clean good selection

Everything was in its place, everyone wore mask and maintain social distancing except for workers. Got in, Got out. Couldnt ask for more except make that ALL workers abide by Pandemic GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The selection here is decent but not great, there are usually a handful of items that I am looking for and they don’t have.My biggest complaint about this store is that the produce is not fresh. I have bought so many things (peppers, avocado, zucchini, strawberries, etc) just to find out when I get home that they’re rotten or moldy.I go to another store for produce now and use Stop and Shop for other items like dry goods, frozen food, meat, etc. I recommend the store for most things but if you’re looking for produce, try somewhere else for better quality.

Theres a better stop and shop down the road. This one wasnt as friendly and welcoming. This location also did not have the latest newspaper deals labeled. Quality of goods was nothing to complain about.

Huge place, much to select from. Sometimes you get lost. Even tough its big, at times you cant find the things you are looking for.I couldnt find individual bagels. Lots if self checkout.

Today day one of sale no eggs, chicken or shrimp out. When mentioned at Courtesy booth I was told it’s not my fault I have no control you can get a rain check then she walked away and I never got a rain check not very courteous at the courtesy booth. How do you not have a sale items the first day of the sale? Sad really sad.

More expensive than star market and not a good selection for a lot of things compared to other grocery stores in the area. Parts of freezer section not cooled properly but items are still being sold.

Huge and very well stocked, with a huge parking lot. These large stop and shop locations are what all supermarkets aspire to.The only down-side is that the layout gets very confusing, and you can end up roaming aisles trying to find where they put the thing you want (as I understand, stores are, to some extent, designed to encourage that wandering, so you have more time to make impulse buys). Be on guard for this, and resist the urge to buy stuff you dont really want while searching for other items.

Excellent prices and great quality food! This particular location isn’t the cleanest or most pleasant one I’ve been to, but it’s great to get in and out of quickly.

Stop and Shop is a great place to get your groceries on a budget. It has a lot of the products that a drugstore would have and a very good selection of organic and natural products, often cheaper than the premium stores.Your best bet for saving money is coming here. Be aware of when to show up though, because the lines get long around commuting times!

Typical grocery store. Doesnt seem well maintained. Things well organized though. Sale items are fairly easy to find. Parking is convenient and free.

Amid COVID, some areas are not super well stocked but staff is very gracious in helping where they can.

I found everything I needed. They were also having some very good sales. The place was clean and well-stocked. Its a grocery store, not sure what else to say. As long as they have what I want and I can find it easily enough and the employees are helpful if needed then I give it 5 stars.

The Watertown Stop & Shop always has great service and bargains. My favorite place to shop!

This place is so bad. If you ever go to a stop and shop please go to the one on pleasant street. The staff and people are really disrespectful and not helpful. One time when I came, it was the worst experience I ever had.

Chris in the seafood department is totally unprofessional. I saw this completely first hand. Hes also just totally unpleasant. Hes not breaking down the food correctly either ie not removing the veins from the swordfish.. hes been mean to his staff, while Ive been there, in front of everyone, multiple times.

I Always find everything I need at Stop and Shop. The staff is great too.

While I am only rating this 3 stars, this is where we go weekly. This is a very average Stop & Shop and an average grocery store as well. I am not fond of the layout when they push the aisle in cutting off access to cut in-between aisle from the middle. They sometimes have a $5 off $50 in the mailer. And as of this posting they still dont support Android pay or chip and pin payments. There are 5 or 6 self checkout lanes which are particularly nice when you have 2 people, one to scan, one to bag.

If you can tolerate the creepy townies who shop here, this is a pretty decent supermarket. They have a great selection (amazing produce!) and its way less stressful than hitting up WF on weekend evenings.

Good store has good selections. Try to avoid Sunday evening shopping it’s a madhouse. I wish they would make more self check out lanes since everyone uses those over the cashier lanes.

My son has multiple food allergies and Kelly at the deli counter made me feel very comfortable. When she found out my son had food allergies she took the extra time to clean off the machine really well to make sure that there was nothing that would contaminate the meat that she was gonna cut for my son. I really appreciate the extra attention to my sons allergies that Kelly gave. She was very friendly and very professional.

This place is convenient for my work and thats about the only reason I go here. The deli guys are always friendly, but most other staff I havent had enjoyable encounters with. The prices are high and the quality is average. I usually spend a lot of time in line.

This place is a joke. Not only was the customer service horrible (throwing our food while she scans them). But they have the worse paper bags ever. Also all the signs over the check put said 12 items or less? What the hell are we supposed to do if we have more? Go to 2 different ones?

Good prices, and more organic products. Pretty much everything you need. For seafood Id say stick with Wholefoods for freshness and selection.

If youre in the Newton, Watertown, Brighton areas, this is a great place to get your groceries.

Always well stocked, pleasure to go in the early morning and seeing everything ready for shoppers always smells clean especially the perishable department you will always find fresh and well stocked selection, and price is right!

Love the bakeshop here, has really improved over the last year. Highly recommend for the bakeshop alone. The manager is very knowledgeable and super friendly.

The store is usually dirty. Ive had to walk on sticky floors so many times there. Staff isnt helpful or pleasant, they all look like they hate their lives and cant wait until their shift is over. Produce is always missing a ton of stuff by the afternoon/evening and doesnt get restocked. Everything is pretty expensive. Youre better off going to Trader Joes where its fun to shop and the staff is actually friendly.

An ordinary american food market. Products are various. We found some bread with green mould. Check-out area need more space on weekend. And self-checkout system is a real headache -- you have to call for assistance a couple of times which slowed the process.
