A great Organic option when least expected driving through Watertown. The cafe has some tasty food and the attached organic grocery is a nice combination. The coolest part is that the cafe is on a honor system, letting you order and eat what you want, add on a tasty cookie later or whatever, and then when your all done pay at the front register. Good to see some trusting peeps in the world still. Hope this concept flourishes for the owners and workers 👍

Great quality, but a bit pricey. The Mustard Seed does many things well. It is a health combination health food, specialty grocery and cafa. They have a good assortment of products that are difficult to find elsewhere. They often have product samples available. The cafe area toward the rear of the store is worth a visit to enjoy lunch or a quick snack. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Great food and nice selection. Staff is overall friendly, would get 5 stars from me if their cafe staff were as friendly as everyone else.

Just had one of the best cakes Ive ever had in my entire life made by The Mustard Seed. I called them Friday morning and placed an order for an egg-free, gluten-free birthday cake for Sunday. We just ate some of this cake about 30 minutes ago and I can NOT wait any longer to post about how good it is!!! The cake is moist, fluffy and the vanilla flavor is deep and delicious. Super creamy butter cream frosting and decorated perfectly. Honestly, I have no dietary restrictions. I ordered this for someone who does. But this cake is so much better than any I have had before I plan to order the same cake any time I need one for anyone, whether they eat gluten free or not!

This used to be a nice place to stop and eat. NOT ANYMORE. 01FEB20 - 2:30 pm. Crafts of coffee empty. One sandwich with hair in it. One wrap with several hairs in it. Rock hard cookie. Best of all, when I asked for a new cookie I was charged again for another cookie. Wife spoke to manager and he did refund cookie and wrap. We did not mention the sandwich as my daughter ate it anyway. I have no doubt the manager would have comped that one too. Store itself is still nice with lots of selections and alternative natural items. However, new staff members especially in the kitchen need improvement.

Has a great hot lunch/soup selection for a meal if desired. Decent but small selection of products. One of the only places you have a great selection of whole bean coffee!

The Mustard seed has excellent top notch variety for all kinds of diets and lifestyles from food to supplements and even bulk spices. I am proud to have a local natural store in the area dedicated to their customers. Yes things are pricey but they are a good price for being quality vegan/gluten free/Organic/ Dairy free options.

Most of the Cafe staff are rude, and unprofessional, and the food has really gone down hill, very disappointed in the way they are training their new staff in the Cafe. The front staff at the cash registers are usually friendly enough thankfully.

I have always loved shopping here. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable. In my 5-10 years of going here regularly I have never had a bad experience, which really speaks volumes! After having such a horrible experience at Green Planet Grocery yesterday, I appreciate even more the always friendly and over the top service I get from the Mustard Seed. Never going to GP again!

Great, fresh products. They are a little pricey but I love the fact they stay open open late on days you don’t expect them to. The store is really organized and neat.

Stopped in for hand sanitizer. Two one oz. Bottles were $10.00! Do not buy this, it is highway robbery. Go to the General Store on bradley st. They have it $6.50 for 8 oz. And a refill bottle of 60 ozs for $25.00.

Deli is amazing & so are all their snacks & food. Love going here.. especially with all my food allergies.

Highly recommend! I have celiacs disease and have eaten here on multiple occasions with no reaction! The kitchen staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! If you have food allergies the staff will take all precautions against cross contamination too!

Great place with a great assortment of health products, natural, organic, veg and vegan stuff. Found some great vegan cheeses better than any others I had tried! Staff was nice, polite and helpful and most items seemed priced in line with national averages. Found gardien brand crab cakes here, which j didnt even know existed! What a treat! I dont live in this area, I was visiting family...but I will definitely be back.

The food there is absolutely delicious, and healthy to boot!! My wife and I went in for lunch, and we both got the portabello Panini. When it got to our table, the sandwiches looked Bea, but the smell...omg the smell was fantastic. I took the first bite...and mind was promptly blown. It was soooo good. The staff in the store are all wonderful, and more than willing to help you. Its become one of my favorite stores in town.

Went in store today, walked all over the store (30min) looking for an item. Employees just walked by and never ask if I need assistance!!! I get asked all the time in Walmart if I need help! Icing on the cake!!! White lady walked in, with in 2sec they jumped to help!!! Yes I could have asked for help, but Im the consumer!!! Never AGAIN, thanks Amazon!!!

One of the best Health Food Stores Ive been to in the US. The Staff is knowledgeable and are quite happy to help. The Manager is top notch also. The atmosphere is upbeat anytime of the day. The cafe has awesome healthy cuisine!

I moved here from Tampa Bay FL where we have many healthy grocery stores!The Mustard Seed was a delightful surprise for Watertown to have this store. It’s right in my great grandmothers neighborhood! What could be better!

Tried to contact via online but will not put thru even with all info in place. Keeps saying I need a phone number. Plus not a lot of selection for what I wanted online. Other than that, I’ve had no bad experiences in store. Have never tried the cafe

The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Willing to go above and beyond for customers. They even offered to mail vitamin supplements to my Grandmother because she lives in Carthage to save her the time and gas- Now thats great service! Their prices are also very fair for high quality, plant based supplements! Of course, You pay more here then you would at Walmart but that is because you pay for the overall quality of the supplement in which are respectably and sustainable harvested and produced and again made from a plant source so your body can actually absorb them rather then excrete it as you would with most main stream vitamin brands!

Cafe food is OK with decent prices. I would however avoid their ready to go food tray... anybody can touch or sneeze on it...the rest of the store is way overpriced, service is slow

I’ve been a couple of times now because they have a pretty good dry bulk and spices section. They staff has always been very friendly and helpful to me.

So happy I decided to stop in! The back area has a bunch of pre-made sandwiches and snacks that were easy to eat on the go. The staff were incredibly helpful, too!

If youre into the nutrition thing, then this is your place to shop. For an all organic store the prices are reasonable, with much of its produce from local farms and a coffee shop in the back. Where else would you want to go?

The prices should be more affordable. I shop here only when I have extra to spend. It shouldnt be, but its a luxury. Pity.

Staff did not greet me, but the place seems to have a lot of products. I was recommended by a friend to buy sovereign silver for a cold.

They have a good selection of vegan items but it would be nice to see a lil more customer service. The girl that checked me out didnt even say anything to me...found that a little strange.
