Great sister spot to Beer Thirty in Soquel. Good beer, good food, and clean indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy your food, drinks, and friends. Huge umbrellas out front to keep the mid-day sun at bay as well. The NC spicy chicken sandwich is kickin too!

Just visiting during the horse championships at the fairgrounds, but this place is crazy good. Its trendy, its relaxing, the food is insane, the chicken sandwich was top notch, and they even have hard kombucha on tap, which was the *chefs kiss*

Excellent after beach hangout for local draft beers and snacks. One of my favorite spots for beer in Watsonville. Easy to get to from Manresa State beach.

Had a great lunch. Our group had Chicken salad, chicken fingers, pulled pork and the tri tip cheese steak. All were delicious. Ingredients were fresh and high quality. We were on vacation, but will be stopping by whenever we can. The beer selection speaks for itself.

Like Beer-Thirty but bigger! We’ve been fans of the original in Soquel for many years and decided to take the trip south to check out this new location. Great service, great food, great beer!

Grateful to have Beer Mule here in Watsonville! Excellent drink selection and ample seating, plus close to food. They could do a better job with the decor and games, etc, to make it a little nicer like their other location (Beer Thirty in Soquel).

This place is amazing! Great space, both indoor and outdoor areas are awesome. Plenty of room for you to seat and enjoy a good beer.They opened recently and are still finishing up their kitchen. But dont get discouraged by that since they are already offering some delicious hot paninis served with salad. Besides the paninis they have some rotating food trucks that spot by on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Check their website to keep track of food truck schedule.These guys have a lot of beers for you to choose from. And they certainly know their craft. Needed a hand choosing a not too strong dark beer and they promptly gave me options realizing Im far from being an expert.The guys behind Beer Mule are the same from Beer Thirty, so you will quickly recognize the stylish look. Service was really good too. Really friendly staff.And they are kid friendly and pet friendly too. So it is a place for the whole family!

It doesnt help to go on a fog cold night in June, and then my friends didnt come by, but the beer was great and there so many choices I wonder how many people can make so many choices knowledgeably so tasting is an active part of buying a glass of beer Thats great. Everything is open free and easy if I had my friends Id give it a 10 probably. The best thing could possibly be the pie truck I think they spell it p y e they have Cornwall pasties looks good.

Beer was great, plus lots of food from the numerous eateries at the location.Nice outdoor seating, friendly place and patrons. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area. As a note, Capitola is about a 10 minute drive.

There is food here but the star of the show is BEER. Lots on tap and plenty to choose from in the bottle cases. High quality beer, a multitude of different styles and breweries to please your palate. Big open seating areas inside and out and friendly folks working the counter. If you are a beer fan stop in for a flight or a couple of pints and some beer for the road.

Beer Mule has a great, eclectic selection of beers on tap, a spacious bar/dining room and a ton of outdoor seating.You walk in to a very open room that is plain but inviting. The eye is immediately drawn to a tasteful and clear display of all the beers on offer, and secondly to a fridge full of bottles and cans that are arranged in a way that can only be described as beautiful.I was drawn to an almond milk stout that was creamy and dark without the usual full-feel that I get from traditional milk or cream stouts. My wife has more of a sweet tooth and chose a honey lavender cider that was crisp and boozey (which is what she likes!)For food, there is a small but exciting selection of items that you can order as either a pannini or a salad. I opted for a tritip chimi churri pannini while the wife went for a portabella and goat cheese pannini. I dont like mushrooms, but when she offered to trade half of her sandwich for half of mine, I cheerful accepted.The side sad that came with both of our sandwiches was super salty, enough that I will be sure to ask for plain greens next time with whatever dressing they offer on the side.Service was friendly and we were actively encouraged to taste things before locking ourselves into a pint. The prices were good, especially for what felt like a premium experience in a joint filled with craft beer and good food. I will definitely be back, and Im already lobbying my boss to hold work events here.

Great beer selection, ambience and food. We had the fish tacos and garden salad, both I would highly recommend! Good setup for social distance with so much outdoors or open air. Staff was courteous and helpful when asked for assistance. We will definitely be back! Parking can be a challenge on the street even when the place isnt that busy. We went on Saturday afternoon and saw lots of families with young children, dogs, overall a warm laid back vibe.

Lucky Watsonville! This is what we need and so heartened by the big, super diverse crowd, great food and ciders! Cant wait till the tea and crepe place is open next door!!!

Awesome beer, dog friendly, great food. Its airport adjacent so theres some decent plane spotting opportunity here. Sometimes theres dog poo in the non-dog outdoor area.

Had a nice time with girlfriend. Nice IPA #25 and a delicious skirt steak quesadilla. Wasnt too smoky out. The have always had plenty of great outdoor seating. They are picnic tables but they should be covered with plastic table clothes that can be wiped down easily, everyone responsible for cleaning their own area. We sprayed our area with our hand sanitizer. Not a big deal, but perhaps just an extra precaution.

Watsonville is adding bit more of a scene in the brew and food arena and Beer Mule is a prime example.The hardest part of a fun time at Beer Mule is choosing your beer. But the menu calls out styles and stats to help you narrow you selection before you come up the queue to the counter.There is a big selection that makes it fun to try all sorts of craft beer from all kinds of places.I’m always impressed here in how fast one can order, and that’s because they have always been staffed well and use the modern point of sale products. And the staff does a great job of answering questions and/or suggesting a brew for you.The facility is new and spacious, with a grand outdoors as well. And they continue to add new flair and games to the mix.For food, the kitchen has a few staples to order, and often Beer Mule hosts a food truck. Personally I’ve only sampled the food trucks, and I haven’t tried the kitchen to offer any thoughts. Yet.There is room for more tenants in the facility, and the addition of new places helps round the trip to the mule. I’ve tried the crepes from next door at Mr. Z’s, and Zameen (Mediterranean) just opened. A Taco stand is listed as coming soon. All the food from these establishments can be brought over to the Beer Mule tables.During the daytime, since the Beer Mule is adjacent to the Watsonville airport, you can often catch skydivers floating down from high. Always a cool show.Lastly, as I mentioned in the beginning, there is a brew scene. Very close to Beer Mule are the Corralitos Brewery, Elkhorn Slough Brewery, and Fruition Brewery. It makes for a great way to go sampling and leverage a trip to Watsonville.

Great place, just opened. Staff at the counter were friendly and knowledgeable. A little loud a few rugs would probably help with acoustics. The lines can be slow as there are so many choices people want taste everything. Wish we could just purchase snacks too and not have to wait for the food truck line. Beers and atmosphere we perfect though and Id definitely recommend a visit.

Big selection of beers and even root beer. Has a little section where they have outdoor bowling. Saw kids running around having a great time while mom and dad have one too. Nice and clean and an open area in the inside with outside having plenty of tables.

Recently, I moved back to town after so many years, and when I heard about Beer Mule I instantly was excited Watsonville is going to have a brewery in town (close by).The staff are great, the owners are well involved and very nice people. Any questions or concerns I’ve had, they are all attentive and well organized. Beer mule is clean, which surprises me when it gets really busy.I really enjoy the environment. They have an Instagram page that lets you know what’s going on each day. What type of food, any special events, etc. I’d definitely check them out.
