Their donuts could be top-notched, but their attitude is way bottom. I went in today to have donuts since I saw the review is highly ranked. When I walked in, there is a speaker playing loud music. The service person cant hear me well when I ordered and asked me to speak loud. I told her that music is too loud, and she retorted No. Its not loud. Well, I search for the speaker and its behind me and its pointing at me and at her directly. No wonder she cant hear well, and asking customer to speak loudly. I cancelled the order and informed her that she has attitude issue, and she retorted and insulted me with Sorry you feel that way. I went down the street to Donut King shop, and the server person was much courteous and professional and without loud music playing!

My favorite donut shop in Santa Cruz County. If you go between 6:55 to 7:05am any day the glazed with chocolate top will be freshly made.What I like about Top Donuts is the consistency and quality of the dough and chocolate. Most of the other donuts from other shops are either too dry or too greasy. Theyve done a fantastic job in that regard. The chocolate is also the bomb. Its not overly powerful sweet, but just perfect.

Im so glad to have Top so close, this is the donut I grew up with on the other side of the country! You can always test a donut shop by their plain old glazed... These will melt in your mouth. Not too sweet like so many do, and so light and airy, they are perfection. You have to grab a couple of those. Then get an apple fritter. Uhhh, dang! The thing is huge yet light. Its the perfect fritter. There is soft, there is gooey, there is crunchy. Nice bits of apple too. These are a fave. I always want a chocolate bar, as they are called out here, and ask to have it filled with icing. There isnt anything in their case I dont like. I dont know the owners personally, but they will treat you like theyve know you your whole life. We love you Top! Its the choice when you need donuts for work, an event, or gathering. Call a few days ahead for those big orders. The cost is right too!

Lady was very rude to my father. My father picked up Chinese food from next door and went to get me a doughnut. Well, the lady was talking to another customer for awhile he didnt mind. But when it was his turn she accuses him of taking the Chinese food from the other lady that left?! Then as he was trying to tell her how many doughnuts he wanted a d what kind she kept interrupting him and being rude. Never had any issues with the guy that works there, but if you are going to have someone like that treat your customers like that... WONT BE GOING BACK AND WILL BE SUGGESTING A FRIENDLIER PLACE THAT WILL BE RESPECTFUL TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I rarely eat donuts but I love this place. Always fresh and a big selection every time Ive gone. Coffee is good and the lady who usually works is really sweet. I would recommend this donut shop!

Everything tastes fresh. You must try the bagels!!! So good. Prize goes to the raised doughnuts, especially within an hour of coming out of the oven. Also try an apple fritter. Kind of like funnel cake with apples and cinnamon.

Bar none, these are the best donuts in Watsonville. They are heavy, dense and wonderful donuts. The old fashioned are crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. My favorites are the maple bars, cinnamon crumb and the very addictive “Apple Fritters!”Top Donuts make the best Apple Fritters that I have ever ate.So, if you want the best donuts that Watsonville has to offer, Top Donuts is the top of the heap. To the reviewer who complained about their customer service, everyone has bad days. Go back and you will probably have a different experience. The thing is, we are all human and none of us are perfect. We all have our good days and bad days.

The owner that was working, the woman, was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was visiting from out of town, came to pick up donuts for the family, not a pleasant experience at all. I just don’t understand why a business owner would treat clients so bad. I won’t go back.

Best apple fritters by far! Also the best Cinnamon rolls and doughnut holes.... however this is overshadowed by the poor customer service. Every morning I go in to get these same items and she yells, this is all I have! I explained to her I only eat apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, and my kiddos doughnut holes. The other morning she only had 2 fritters of the selection I choose from. I said I wanted the fritters and looked for something else. I politely asked if she had more doughnut holes coming up, she snapped, no thats it! Its all I have! And went to help the next customer....and gave that customers the fritters I had just asked for. She is really rude. Especially for a customer that just drove 3 hours before reaching her establishment. Ive been back several times, just in case she was having a bad day. No...just rude!
