I like Nob Hill over Safeway and most of the other grocery stores in my area. The deli is fantastic with a good selection of meats and cheeses. The produce selection is the best in town and very well maintained and managed.

Their prices are in midrange, but its a pretty clean grocery store usually stocked with what you need BUT ya better get In there before the weekend because it can get picked clean pretty fast.The staff is hard working and are ready to answer your questions. The parking lot has 2 slots reserved for up to 4 electric vehicles for charge-up while you shop.Also has a Garden shop and can blow ya up some balloons if ya need em.

Great produce, nice selection if organic produce, snacks & products. Love their sushi & baked goods as well.

Used to shop here every week before moving. Prefer it over Safeway.

Stop locking up the baby formula! I spent an hour wandering around the store thinking, how does this place not have all the major brands of formula? Just to see this BS as I am leaving the store. I dont care if this is a commonly stolen item; you lost my business until this formula is put in the aisle with the rest of the baby items!

Nob Hill is always a good place to go to find hard to find items. Always fresh, nice organic section. A fav for sure!

People are friendly, lots of selections to buy from. Not too crowded (sometimes). The bakery shop has a very good selection.

Like the variety of foods they offer at this location. Although many of the items there may be cheaper at other stores, they make it up to how clean, sorted, and well-maintained the store is. Compared to Safeway, I like the lighting more here. The reason for a 4 star review is due to the experience shopping here. It sometimes annoys me when people get too close to me, especially during this pandemic. I shop for something and then someone has to see from behind what Im shopping for just to get the same item Im getting. People forget social distancing here.

Items are a little more here. You can find same items cheaper at other stores. Service is always quick and kind. Sandwiches are pretty good as well. Store is clean.

I just wish we didnt have to walk all the way up front to get somebody to walk all the way back with us for them to open the door to use the restroom while shopping there.

Had a very bad experience at Nob Hill today. I went to refill my water gallons on one of those Glacier Water machines. I only had cash so I tried using a five dollar bill. Unfortunately, the machine didn’t like my bill. So I figured let me go inside this establishment just so I can change my five dollar bills into one dollar bills. Seems simple right? Well, I waited in line like anyone would with a purchase or question. The gentleman who helped me named... I didn’t know the name at the time, because I was frustrated of how he treated me. He was very rude and stared me up and down like I was a criminal or something. I felt so disgusted by his actions. I simply asked him if he can change my five into ones? He just looked at me and said mhmm. Took my bill and stared at me again and said mhmm. I felted judged like how can someone like that represent a fine grocery store who is known for “great customer experience as services” I honestly am still upset. So much so I went back to make a small purchase get back in line and with the same individual. Only to find while someone ahead of me was being helped. He gave him such great service. Asked him how are you? Making small talk about the the football game. You know common courtesy and customer service. All of which he did not show me. When it was my turn I could tell he recognized me. Stayed quiet like he knew he did something wrong. Then when he rang me up. I said a comment, “It’s nice to know you can give customer service to other people but not to me”. He’s response, “ Whatever man, I gave you your five dollars”. I just wanted an apology or hey I’m sorry having a bad day. Something to justify his actions. But instead that’s all I got. Oh and RAUL is the name of this gentleman. I hope management. Gives him a talk because it’s not right or fair for someone to go through this. He was the face of Nob Hill for me and I won’t ever forget it.

This is a very clean store and the staff is always very friendly. Ive never had to wait long to check out. I knocked down one star because it is more expensive than most other shops in town. It is definitely a better shopping experience if you are willing to pay more.

Its a nice store and has quality products, you definitely pay more than you would at FoodMaxx or Safeway, but in exchange you can expect better service. Most employees are polite, but there was a loser power-tripping cashier named Raul who was quite rude. I can imagine that being a grocery clerk at around age 50 isnt anyones particular dream job, but its unprofessional to let that inner frustration rub off in the way you interact with customers.

This store is the only place Ill shop during the pandemic. Its so clean and organized, and lacks the chaos of the surrounding grocery stores. The best part is that social distancing is never an issue there.

I like Nob Hill foods. I would prefer a health food store, but Nob Hill officers some organic produce, fruit and vegetables and some other items also. So, For Watsonville it is good.

Where are your watermelon Outshine bars? You havent carried them for at least a month now and Ive asked for them specifically. Nob Hills sale prices are usually good but I try not to buy a lot of other things at the same time because I can usually get it for Less at Safeway.

Well... its a pretty low bar, but a better experience than Safeway.Decent deli and bakery. Peets coffee served as opposed to Starbucks. Produce section is standard, mostly conventional, some organic. Seafood is on ice, all the other meat and poultry are pre-packaged (Im spoiled. Ive gotten used to the butcher counter experience). All the standard cleaning products, packaged foods, etc. A limited selection of Muir Glen products.People are friendly and helpful, and for whatever reason, I see a lot fewer sketchy people shopping (to borrow an overused line being in Safeway reminds me of the bar scene in Star Wars).Glad there is an alternative to Safeway. also glad that the shopping center Knob Hill is in has a few other businesses that make the trip worthwhile. Most notably Kellys Books.

Very clean. I had to do an exchange for a defective product packaging and the employees were very friend and great. I also asked where several things were from different employees and they were all friend and nice.The place a been there for years. I used to shop there 15 years ago. It has been remodeled since then but great place to shop.

Raul was our checker, and James our bagger. Very professional and a delight. Kudos to you Nob Hill for having such awesome people. The seem like they really enjoy their job and workplace. It reflects in their attitudes.

Best store in the area. I dropped my wallet in the parking lot, and not only did it get turned in, but the manager Deborah, drove to my house to notify me that the had it locked up. Incredible customer service and upscale store. My favorite place to shop

Spent 90 bucks for grocery items, but had a feeling I was overpaying. I came home and did price match online and turned out I paid about $34 more. Had I bought online (Amazon), I would have saved that. Some of the noticeable difference was on nature made vitamin (price online was $9, at Nob Hill I paid approx $15 for same item), hand wash item, condiments (paid almost $6 for tiny black pepper plastic bottle, online was $1.5 for the same) and few other items. Isle and setup was nicely laid out, but I wouldnt be shopping here as often as I would like to because of exorbitant price tags.

The best deli for a grocery store. If you want good produce, with lots of variety, Nob Hill is it. Prices are a bit high, but quality costs. Love their seafood salad from the deli. Breads are fresh and good. Most are still warm when I buy them. Meats are good when they are on sale, otherwise too expensive for my budget.

This is a wonderful grocery store with a variety of items. The deli has some delicious choices and the prices are great. My family and I picked up groceries there while on vacation, we found everything we needed.

Weve been shopping at the Watsonville Nob Hill for 20 years, other Santa Cruz County and Santa Clara County locations, too. Always stellar. Shoppers are treated as family and friends. Staff members know people by name and always go the extra mile. Long before any Other larger super(theyre not really)markets started carrying poor quality organic produce, Nob Hill had an extensive, high-quality selection. Meat, dairy, bakery, frozen, you name it - Nob Hill is outstanding. The rewards program sends free and discount coupons for things you actually buy, rather than cross-marketing.

Beautifully organized clean store! The employees are so very helpful as well. The $5 Mondays are my favorite time to shop as they have fantastic deals on name brand items. I highly recommend Nob Hill Foods!

This is my favorite Nob Hill store where everything is laid out well and easy to find, even though the store is a large one. Most of the staff are happy, helpful and pleasant, and have a good knowledge of where items can be found. I say most staff as all my experiences there have been good until just before Christmas when the guy on checkout, whose name I didnt get, was surly and irritated with me! I understand we all have bad days, but dont take it out on the customers!

Nob Hill is always good with better quality product than other stores. But its also always a bit pricier too (although not so much as Whole Foods).

A bit spendy for most items, perhaps a bit more than the typical Whole Foods, even. Good selection of local and regional beer and wine. The produce quality is good, but for the price, youre probably better off to buy fresh produce along the roadside, which is plentiful in this area.

I appreciate how clean and easy everything is to find. They also carry some had to find stuff that other local stores dont have. The staff working there is always so friendly as well!
