Wonderful coffee shop and bakery! Always so many delectable baked goods to choose from. My favorite local place hands down!

This is a great coffeeshop and bakery. The staff is friendly and you can see everyone in the back bakery working which is neat. My coffee was delicious, and they even customized it according to a niche request with some supplies from the bakery. My cinnamon roll was also good, even though it had cream cheese icing which isnt my favorite but they make it work. Overall I would definitely recommend this business. Whisk bakery is absolutely charming and beautiful the moment you walk in. I came here for a birthday cake after seeing some neighbors raving about it. I ordered my cake and took a cannoli and cookies to go. THEY WERE AMAZING!!!! A week later, I went back to get the cake which was better than I could have dreamed up. It was decorated perfectly. I also took a cinnamon roll and more cookies, different flavors than the first time. The cinnamon roll was warm and soft, and absolutely melt in your mouth good. The cookies were PERFECTLY baked. The birthday cake was for my moms 75th birthday and everyone could not stop talking about how delicious it was. There are not words to describe how delicious this cake really was. Not only was it perfectly decorated, it tasted amazing. You can tell that Whisk loves what they are doing, and they show it in every baked good that they create. Im a Whisk customer for life. Thank you for an amazing birthday cake and for being such a unique and wonderful local business!

I waited in line for 15 minutes with only 4 people in front of me and two employees at the register. I ordered a large black coffee and a scone that cost $7. The employee put cream and sugar in the coffee after I literally said black coffee. I return to ask for a black coffee less than a minute later, only to be told that they are out of coffee at the moment and would have to wait another 10 minutes at the least. This is a coffee and bakery shop. How are you out of coffee. Not to mention the scone was dry and hard. This was such a waste of money. This was my first and last time there. Absolutely ridiculous.

Whisk is a great little coffee shop/bakery. I got the take and bake cinnamon rolls for my wifes birthday and they were amazing (make sure to give them enough time to defrost if going from frozen). Love thr cake pops too.

It was a very cold December morning, my eyes barely able to crack open as the sun peaked through the windows. I knew I needed coffee or the day was not going to happen.A short hop down main street stood the incredible bakery and coffee palace know locally as Whisk.I stumbled my way through the door, dreary eyed with lackluster enthusiasm to be awake. The staff belted out a wonderful GOOD MORNING but quickly saw for me, that it was notThis man needs coffee, HURRY! The staff frantically scrambled to aid me in my decrepit state. Crackaccino should do it! -- a diagnosis which I thought would be the last thing I ever heard, before falling asleep again.I received my delicious caffeine packed beverage with a smile and kind nod. I knew Id survive. To make sure I was ready for any further issues, I also took an emergency Apple Doodle pastry. Amazingly flavorful cinnamon apple filling in a perfectly baked pastry dough.I knew I would be okay. This place somehow promises, without words, 2021 will be better -- and their coffee is there to help.

Love Whisk!!! Their treats are amazing...we get all our cakes from their and our friends and family rave about them! All the staff is also always so friendly and accommodating!

Cozy little bakery and cafe. Pride themselves that everything is made from scratch. You can watch them bake in the large kitchen. Awesome jumbo cinnamon rolls. Staff is welcoming and helpful.

Their cakes and cupcakes are fantastic, always a great treat.

Absolutely delicious baked goods! We tried the red velvet cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes. Moist and delicious. So many bakeries have dry cupcakes but these were the best Ive had in years. Saved a flourless chocolate mini cake for next day and it was fabulous! My kids tried a couple of different bar cookies and gave rave reviews. Prices are reasonable, too. Im not a big coffee drinker but they seem to have a good selection. Will coffee up next time for sure! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Whisk is what you think of a hometown cafe. With its charming decor and delicious smells coming from the kitchen, it is a great place sit and enjoy a book. I had the mocha and cinnamon roll. Both were delicious, generous portions, and priced right. I packed a box of goodies to take home with me to share with my loved ones.

When they advertise made from scratch, they mean it! The baked goods are excellent! If you are lucky enough to have a home baker in the family, you know what I mean. The eat-in section is smallish but cozy with charming decor. The coffee is worth noting-maybe the best Ive had locally.

Such a lovely local spot! Weve had them make custom cakes for our kids birthdays and they turn out absolutely beautiful each time, not to mention delicious. They also have phenomenal cinnamon rolls and lemon bars! Very friendly staff and cute, cozy store. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stop in for a treat and the coffee is great. Roasted by a local company, it has a very enjoyable different flavor than the big brew places. A huge gorgeous kitchen is on display to see how things are done.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my boyfriends birthday last weekend and they were phenomenal. I was able to order 3 cupcakes of 4 different kinds. When we opened the box to share them at the party, they were so beautifully decorated and disappeared quickly. I would recommend the salted caramel cupcake - it was my favorite.

I went to Whisk for the first time for some Thanksgiving desserts. I ordered gluten free pumpkin and apple pies and a tray of non-gluten free cookies. Everything tasted incredible. Even though the pies were gluten free, the apple pie was probably the best Ive had and the pumpkin was very good, too. It is a bit pricey to order from here but it is SO worth it for special events and things like that. Not to mention the customer service was excellent. Cant wait to go back!

Adorable, beautiful interior, comfy little shop. Very simple with their coffee options: you wont find a lot of fancy overly sugared concoctions here! Wide variety of teas and delicious bakery options - get there as early as you can for their cinnamon rolls!

Overall I do love this bakery...but I ordered a birthday cake for a party and it wasnt quite up to what I thought it would be, decoration wise, thought it would wow me more then it did...especially for as expensive as it was. It was difficult to cut and the pieces fell apart before I could get them onto the plates. Cake tasted pretty good but had very little filling that I had asked for. I hate leaving a bad review because I really do love the bakery and staff...but for what I paid for the cake, I wish I was left feeling happy with my purchase but I wasnt :(

Very chic atmosphere! I loved how I could see them working in the kitchen, which looked very clean. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was good. The lady who helped me was very nice.

Im so glad my friend and I found this coffee shop. Its perfectly in the middle of our two homes and we can meet for a peaceful cup of coffee and a chat. Great environment decent prices and the staff is very nice

We recently bought a house in Wauconda, and got cinnamon rolls and scones from whisk. They were both devine!! I have to say the absolute best cinnamon rolls i have ever eaten.. no joke!! I cant wait to try the rest if their food. Highly recommend!!

Super cute bakery. Tried a few different things: a quiche, pull apart bread, blueberry muffin, chocolate cupcakes, and the crackacinno. All of it was very good. Would definitely go back.

How is this place not reviewed like crazy? Locally roasted (Hansa) coffee, espresso drinks, some of the best cupcakes around, super nice people, and a very warm but upscale place to hang out. Love it here, I have to bring home cupcakes for the kids every time I visit.

Wonderful boutique bakery in Wauconda, making a good variety of cakes, and breads. These include several gluten-free, and even dairy-free options. Their GF bread is made to order and is delicious. Coffee offerings are also very good. Customer service is always exemplary.

The people here are so friendly. It is truly a gem hidden among the little shops of Wauconda. And if the friendly smiles dont convince you the pastries will. Some of the most delicious cheese cake I have ever had.

Great place to chill and relax. Brought the kids with me and they enjoyed cake pops, hot chocolate, and some games they had. Good memories!
