Theo and Tom are beyond wonderful! Needing a storage unit in a hurry, Theo made it easy and convenient for me. The prices are better than other storage facilities, the temperature control is a huge plus, and they keep the place very clean! Its so easy to be able to drive right in, load up a moving cart, and take it to your unit. And you can rest assure your things are safe with the coded gate access and security cameras. I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone whos looking!

I cannot say enough great things about Theo, the manager of this location. I’ve been at this storage facility for a couple of years and my family needed to upgrade to a larger space. Theo worked patiently and efficiently to find us the right space at the best price. He is upbeat and is a pleasure to work with. Overall the facility is clean and well run.

Having to move my mother in law to our home and needed space that would be secure & temp controlled. They where great in figuring out the size we need and the price was reasonable. The best was no contract -because with covid - we have no idea when she will be able to resume her move to Florida. The employees were great in helping me arrange everything. Recommend this company to anyone.

Very clean. Nic facility. My issue is that they keep raising their rates. $50 every year. Outrageous. The new customers are not paying the same for the same units. That is discrimination against loyal customers.

Theodore has gone above and beyond customer satisfaction! Always extremely friendly, helpful, and replies to phone calls promptly. The building is very clean and well organized.

They encourage you to post positive reviews like this and after only 4 months renting, I’ve had 2 price increases for a $130 increase! Almost double the online offer! Looking to get out before next month’s price increase.This is the second unit I’ve rented (needed more space). The units are secure, well maintained, very clean and well lit. I have not had any access issues. Miguel is easy to work with and always available for questions. Easy to come and go as needed and carts have always been available to use.

This is the Most amazing place. It is super clean, every staff member is wonderful to work with, the temperature and moisture controls are fabulous. You couldn’t look for a better place to store your stuff. The code access and the indoor parking makes things so convenient why would anybody want to be anywhere else. They have tons of equipment to help you move your belongings to your unit and the elevators are nice and big. I would give it six stars if I was able.

Horrible service! Signed and confirmed a contract and they have given me the incorrect codes to access my storage space. They have made it a giant pain for me.

Really easy to get to and access my unit during open hours. Never had an issue with access to elevator or parking inside the building while getting/placing items.My only issue with them is they raised the price $26 a month on my unit a few month into my storage. Felt like this was pretty unfair since I budget at my sign up rate for the year. I understand thats what I agreed too, but still shady in my opinion, so plan on the price going up after you move in.

I haven’t quite moved into my storage unit yet but.... the man who took care of me while looking for a unit and signing my contract was very very helpful. He answered my questions on the spot and even made me smile and laugh a few times. He made the transaction very pleasant for me. Moving is stressful and he made this part of it easy. Thank you for your help in making this part of my life manageable.

I am so happy that this place opened up so close to home. I wanted to find a space close to home, so i wouldn’t have a difficult time moving things from my home to a storage unit. I requested a storage space on their website and Libby called me about less than five minutes after I had done so. After stepping inside, I noticed how extremely clean this place was. In the past I’ve rented a storage space, but it was nothing like this. My favorite part of this place is that I am able to drive into this building to park and load up close to my unit. Libby was very helpful in walking me through the process of getting a storage unit. It was very fast and easy and the facility is clean and easy to access. I reserved a unit Friday afternoon and went there Saturday morning, in and out in under an hour and was able to start moving things in. The rates are very reasonable and access is secure. Would recommend.

I was very impressed how clean the whole place was. My husband asked me if he should get a couple of skids to set in the storage room I got and I told him its so clean we could sit on th floor and have a picnic. Very nice facility.

Kelly was totally amazing right from the beginning. Kelly was able to get everything set up and answered all my questions and concerns. She really is the best.

They were helpful, Informative, and fast.

The place is extremely clean and very safe, I have no complaints from that aspect. I did have water leak into my unit, to which they promptly notified me. I am giving a three star review because I was disappointed with their frequent rate increases. I rented a unit for a little over 16 months and was hit with two market increases. My price increased almost 40% in the 16 months. Its very difficult at that point to justify the full expense of moving, so just be aware that they will offer you a low price to get you to move-in and then gradually increase your price when you dont have a lot of other options.

This facility is super clean and accessible. Plenty of usable ceiling height in your unit as well. As good as it gets! Trust me, as the owner of a Moving company in Wauconda, I’ve seen plenty of storage facilities. This one is the best of the best. And if you’re paying for movers, it’s accessibility saves you money due to its convenient set up. Just some thoughts from a professional in the moving industry.

This is seriously the nicest storage unit ever. You drive in and can park your car indoors while loading/unloading your unit and then drive out (no weird 3 point turns). Its very safe and secure and the manager Jeff is wonderful.Highly, highly recommend!

Extra Space Storage is great. The place is immaculate and modern. Drive vehicle right inside. Super clean and well laid out. Jeff, the manager, is awesome. Was very accommodating and patient with all my questions. His recommendations were spot on. Top notch.

We compared pricing online for the area and this was the one that had the convenience and features we needed. Love that the space is indoors and climate controlled. The ability to pull your vehicle into the facility to offload is a huge plus.Jeff and Tony were very friendly and helpful. Jeff showed me around and Tony tested the overhead door with me. Safety is obviously a priority, as Tony made sure to mention the floors can be slick if wet (not to mention the video surveillance everywhere).The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the extras that weren’t mentioned online for insurance and lock. Otherwise, the facility is energy efficient (motion sensor lighting), clean, and safe.

Needed a place to store our things while we listed our house. This place is top tier. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. Temp controlled storage that is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! No hidden fees or costs. The beat part is this used to be a Dominicks so if you are moving and need to load a large truck there are loading docks that come right off the aisle and make it super easy!

In the process of moving we have worked with three separate storage companies and extra space has by far been the best. Jeff was super helpful in helping us choose the right size space for us and was nothing but friendly through the entire experience. He answered all of our questions and helped get us the best deal possible for what we needed. It is a super clean facility, everyone is friendly, they always say hi and ask how you are. Jeff even offered to help my mom carry the shrink wrap she bought out to her car. All in all we absolutely loved our experience here and Jeff was fantastic.

You could trust your mom to the great people hear. I certainly would in a heartbeat. The people managing the location were very friendly and helpful. My questions were answered easily, and the space was clean when I toured the facility. Onsite elevators were of moderate size, but you might struggle to fit a couch or large bed in them. Overall, very pleased with their setup and their services.

Great response time from requesting a unit online, great knowledge from Kelly at the office when we went to talk to them. Moved our stuff in Sunday, drive in space was nice because it rained almost all day! Same rate as the outdoor units but much nicer.

Super clean and affordable. Even a drive-in to load/unload your things if the weather is bad. And it’s easy to get to! I spoke with Jeff when I was there. He was very informative and accommodating. Highly recommend.
