I brought my car in because I had a slow leak in one tire. They brought my car in to look at it and then the manager or franchise owner, whoever it was, told me that they’re not even going to mess with my car and just get it out of there and call the Ford dealer. I found him to be really rude and they had put me in a bad position. He would not even look at the tire. He said it was something to do with the Lugnuts being chewed up and he didn’t want to waste his time taking the Lugnuts off and replacing them. The least he could’ve done is fixed the slow leak. If there was more major stuff that needed to be done then I could’ve brought it to a proper garage. Meanwhile he sent me out of his shop with a tire that was leaking and with safety issues to include a tire starting to show steel belting

Professional and helpful will use them again in the future. Stopped in for some maintenance issues and will seek their help in future tire needs!

On Saturday morning we noticed our tire was going flat and that there had been a nail in the tire. We traveled from Minneapolis the night before and this was not how we wanted our day to start. We went to a competitor first and was told there would be a two hour wait. I explained that I had an infant in the car, and two dogs. They were not able to help us out so we called around and found Tire Plus. They understood the urgency and got the van right into the shop. They patched the tire in less then 20 minutes.They were kind and appreciated our business even though they knew we had to get it done there. This business understands service and compassion. With the climate of the world we live in, every dollar spent somewhere means more and giving your money to a business that deserves and works for it makes the difference.Thank you Tire Plus of Waukegan for keeping us safe!

Purchased my tires here over two years ago— brought my car in today because one was leaking and they patched it up for free because I had purchased the warranty! I was in and out in 15min. Excellent service. I will be purchasing my next set of tires from here as well.

Owner very honest and took the time to explain why I needed four new tires, actually showed me all the holes in the tires, and how the wear bars were starting to wear already. No pressure sales. Also excellent value, very reasonable price. Many other mechanics are not honest or respectful to women. I feel I can come here anytime and get honest service I can trust... Even without my husband!

These guys are desperate for work and it shows. I called to get a price range on brakes and before even inspecting the guy tells me I need rotors too. I can see if you were giving me a heads up, but he was cut and dry on changing the rotors too.My last experience I went for an oil change, the mechanic told me that the previous person who worked on my car put the plug in too tight...Confused I asked him why is he telling me and asked if he needs help getting it out? He proceeded with telling me that he will have to change the oil pan because it will crack if he gets the plug out. I told him that within the 10+ years I have of fixing my own cars, I have never seen that happen. After realizing I have experience in cars and Im not ignorant on the subject, he went back to work. He came back with a poor attitude and told me he only had to replace the plug. Like it was bad news that I didnt have to spend a couple hundred dollars.In summary, they are desperate for work and they are willing to take the chance to see if you lack knowledge so they can take advantage of you. Its no wonder they are desperate for work.

I’ve been going here for years for my oil change, but it seems they got new maintenance staff in the past months. I called about broken glass in my trunk from when they changed my brake light and why they didn’t do the courtesy of cleaning it up. The guy basically said “it’s not our fault”. Didn’t even apologize or try to resolve the issue. Not friendly whatsoever. I won’t be coming back to this place.

I have had several of my cars fixed by this shop over the last 5+ years, the owner and techs do outstanding work. Given that this shop is independent and the owner controls his company, I have always found them to be honest, reliable, and they fix the problem presented to them in a timely manner. They will spend time with you to diagnose the issue, explain what needs done and why, then they get to work doing what they said they would do. I have found everyone at this repair shop to be friendly, helpful and customer service oriented. They make me feel safe to bring my car problems to, you never feel taken advantage of and I would and do recommend this place to anyone in need of a car repair, they will not let you down!

This is our third time going to them and every single time its a breath of fresh air. They are honest, friendly and more than willing to explain and show the issue/issues. I decided to come here after having bad experience with Blains farm and fleet and the way my wife got treated at Waukegan Tire I had done business here before but not for many years I bought a set of tires that got mounted and the mechanic told me in twice to talk to me about why he couldnt align the front end it was very informative and not trying to sell me anything just trying to give me the information so I could talk to my mechanic to get it fixed so he could properly align it this is the kind of place that I like and I will be bringing my business back here and I think the mechanic several times as I was happy to have the talk with him about my front end this is a good place to come to to get tires and not be sold a bill of goods

After a long stressful day of having a flat tire and getting roadside assistance I was pointed in the direction of Tires Plus of Waukegan for a replacement tire. Theres a Walmart down the road and I checked with them 4 hour wait, the other Walmart in Gurnee 2 hour wait. I went to Tires Plus and was out in under an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning if future issues arise, and would highly recommend their service if youre having car trouble too.

I got good, timely service to have a nail removed from my tire when I brought it in at 5:20pm. The owner (?) or employee I worked with was very friendly. Cost just under $30.You do have to enter the parking lot from near McDonalds and cross empty lots, which is a bit strange.

As a return costumer, the manager seemed to not want to work with me as I tried to get my warranty from a corporate Tires Plus to this one in Waukegan (which is privately owned). He suggested I go to Firestone instead. So I did. And I will not be returning to the Waukegan Tires Plus.

Will never go back again. This is my story. I recently moved to the area and took my Lexus is to their shop since they were close to my work. That was during last summer. I asked them to install a set of all-season tires and new front breaks. A week after the brakes were installed they start having problems. I took it back again and they did them again only to have the same problem again so I took the car to the dealer and that’s what they wrote wrong parts were installed and incorrectly I took the paperwork to them and complained so they refunded my money. I thought I was done but then winter came and my all-wheel drive car starts sliding all over the place. I did some investigation and found out that they installed a discontinued summer tires on my car Fire stone Fire hawk indie 500. If you think this is ok then go and use them.Note: When I called to complain the rep denied that they were summer tires so I read him what firestone said about the tires being summer tires not intended for snow driving so he immediately said it has been past 30 days cannot do anything for you.

I got my tires from there plus free lifetime of tire rotation. When I need work done to my truck, it gets done in a timely fashion and they done charge outlandish prices

Did front brakes on daughters Neon and were asked to check rear brakes. On pick-up, they told my daughter that they could not check the rear brakes because of a frozen lug nut. When I looked at it, I discovered that they had cross threaded 3 nuts. One of the studs broke while removing the nut, another nut (not even an original as the cap was totally different) was *barely* on, 3rd one was stripped as were 2 nuts. I have since pulled the hub and am in need of 3 studs and nuts. What they should have said was Sorry, we let an idiot with an air wrench ruin 60% of your left-rear wheel mounting hardware and we had to wait for parts. Instead, they let her drive off with a marginally attached wheel.

This is a very reliable place for any kind of car issues. I would recommend this place to anybody around the area.

I had them remove tires from my rims and they scratched two of my rims. That shouldnt happen.

Worst customer service ive seen in a while. Lazy staff, and even lazier owner. I will never reccomend this place to anyone, which is sad because ive been to other tires plus locations and have had a wonderful experience. If i had to sum this location up in one word TERRIBLE! I would rather trust the guys at wal mart across the street, they are cheaper and friendlier

Tires Plus, are very professional in Customer Service and they have certified servicemen tending to your vehicle(s). They will look at your vehicle and tell you exactly what types of problems may be occurring. They are indeed a tire store, but specialize in a variety of other services such as... Brakes, oil changes, alignments, vehicle inspections etc...
