We purchased our hot tub in October of 2020. The tub was finally delivered the second weekend of September, 2021…nearly 12 months later.Now, I understand the delays from the manufacturer with everything going on these days. In August of 2021 (10 months after my order and payment) I received another call from Master Spas customer service and was informed that neither the tub nor surround were available in the colors that I had purchased and paid for.Several calls later and now speaking with Keith, Southern WI franchise owner of Master Spas, about the situation. He had mentioned that he had a tub in dry storage that matched our orders’ interior tub color but had a different exterior color. He mentioned that he’d been saving it for a ‘special event’. After about a month of back-n-forth conversations, he decided to go back to the manufacturer to get an exterior surround that matched the color we had ordered and put it on the interior tub color which he had. It was delivered 2 weeks later.I can only imagine the amount of stress and pressure on Keith and the rest of his organization given supply chain issues that are prevalent today. I do appreciate the work he and his team did in helping to get this situation managed.Oh, and the Tub is fantastic…Twilight Series 8.25 in Smoky Mountain and Espresso exterior.

From delivery to customer service, I am very impressed. The delivery crew came out 2 times to set my swim spa and were very professional. After we started using the spa, we needed filters and a few other items. Stephanie helped us and was always professional, timely and understanding. I would recommend this company to anyone really interested in a spa. FYI, I visited many pool/spa places down in Illinois and this place was the most professional.

Master Spas went above and beyond to get me a new hot tub at my new house. It has been near one year and the quality and reliability have been perfect. My install was difficult; sunken in a deck, half in all the way, other half knee level. Others wanted to get a crane to install it. I talked to Tom and showed pictures. He said no issue at all, his team will do it. Install day; 4 team members and a few hours later I had the old one out and the new one in. 11 months later I am still enjoying the tub with no issues. Stopped by today and bought a lot of restock. They always have filters and media in stock. Great team and great product. Thanks Master Spas!
Terrible customer service, wont stand behind an inferior product that has changed quality significantly over time. A MONTH and no email back, then when I asked for response I get accused of ruining my 2 month old cover. Its made with 1/2 the thickness material, 4 clips less than the previous cover and ripped immediately. The response is that I opened it wrong. Ironic because the previous ones lasted years, same procedure of opening. Cover is sagged down over an inch and pools water at 2 months old. The response is I should pull all the inserts out and flip them. Or I can pay $500 to ship new warranty ones, which would be more than the whole cover costed new. Will not be buying another $26,000 spa from this company!!
We have had a terrific experience with MasterSpas! Our spa was installed in November 2019. Our sales rep, Aaron, was so very helpful and patient with all of my questions. This was a big purchase for us as it was part of a larger backyard landscape project. I had several questions in regards to the kind of spa we should even get for our family of 7, and have had several questions since the installation. Every time I called Aaron or stopped in to ask questions, I received great service and reassurance. They were upfront about the delivery time and it was ready when they said it would be. The installation crew that came out was also awesome. So friendly and helpful. They explained everything so well and gave me some tips on getting started with the filling process. In regards to service, we purchased the one with the brick type surround and because of that, the surface is uneven and the brackets for the cover needed reinforcing. There was someone out right away to take care of this for us. Several times I have been to the retail location for chemicals and supplies and I have received great service there too. The spa has been a great addition to our backyard and has been enjoyed by our whole family. It is a great way to enjoy Wisconsin winters!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Master spas. They were more interested in trying to sell me a hot tub instead of see what I really needed. When I finally mention I needed a part they had no interest in helping me.
Living in WI it should not take a WEEK to get service on your hot tub that is only a year old and somehow had a massive leak ( lost 75 % water ). So much for on point customer service. Oh lets not forget warranty does not cover freeze damage...🤦♀️ Disappointed in MASTER SPA! Could have gone with any manufacturer...thought local would have been better.
UPDATED REVIEW (1 to 4 stars)Our hot tub was delivered last week and has been a life changer for us. The delivery team and the customer service has been great to work with so far. One of their staff lives near us and when something was unavailable during the delivery, she dropped it at our house the next business day after work.The reality (as I begrudgingly realize now) is that the manufacturer is having enormous delays. Just like many other at-home exercise, recreation, etc. equipment they cant keep up with demand. I was frustrated that it took so long and that they (the dealer) had so little insight into the process. But, I recognize now the dealer was doing the best they could do and Id definitely work with them again.--------------------Although my wife and I enjoyed working with Tom, the manager, through the buying experience. Weve been significantly let down since our purchase on May 16, 2020. As of today, we have not received our hot tub, nor can they provide an accurate ETA. Tom blames their manufacturer and a parts shortage. When we were in the store, we were prepared to purchase a floor model, but Tom convinced us to order one exactly the way we want it and it would take 4-6 weeks. We agreed, and paid in full and ordered the tub. Now we have no idea when well receive delivery. Multiple calls to the store have offered nothing but apologies and no firm answers. In the meantime, they have had $10K of ours and we have nothing, not even an accurate ETA. Im hoping theyll have an answer soon as Im looking into our options for getting out of the order as I dont believe they have operated in good faith.
We ordered our tub on June 7th. It is now over 4 months later and no tub. They have not called to update us at all! To buy from someone who provides such poor service is very disappointing. My husband called once but that got us nowhere. Their contract keeps your deposit and does not allow you to cancel. I would be willing to change review if we actually were served. I want to update my review and say that our tub is finally delivered. I will say that is perfect and we like it very much. The installers did a great job. My main complaint is the lack of communication from Master Spas. Even with a terrible review, they did not comment or call.
No problems - got what I needed fast - in & out with no fuss.
Ok. Got the spa. Ordered it on August 1. It was delivered on 12-17-2020. 138 days after we ordered with a down payment. The spa is fantastic. When we ordered the spa we were told 125 days. On the 117th day we got a call from Master Spas telling us our order was completed and that the spa can now be shipped from the warehouse. I asked for first available delivery date. It took exactly one week from the first phone call to get the spa shipped from Indiana to southern Wisconsin. Then it took exactly another week to get the spa delivered on the first available date and time. My feedback is that masterspa should develop an app so you can track the spa order yourself. Master Spas doesnt call you to tell you status until the order is complete. Other advice for buyers is when you purchase, you should believe the time that the salesperson tells you. Looking back, I didnt think I fully believed that the spa would take 125 days to make but it surely did. The spa itself is fantastic. Its a Bar Harbor LE 240v and sits 5 people comfortably. (I am sure the kids will fit more in there). Its 87x87 and fits my space perfect. It took only 12 hours to get the spa up to temperature (outside temperatures got down to 25 degrees on the first night). I was up working from home at 130am and from 6pm to 130am the tub heated up to 83 degrees. The lighting in the tub is awesome. The cover is awesome. The two guys that delivered the spa were friendly and installed the spa cover lifter for me. Bottom line, it was well worth the wait even though I was impatient during this COVID-19 crisis. Happy to be a customer of master spas and this was well worth the money. Everything is high quality on the tub. Despite it being cold outside, the tub seems to be very well insulated. The temp stays at how we set it (about 102F) and I work near the tub (from home due to covid) so I hear when the heat turns on. The heat is off more than its on. Except when we use it (with the cover off in the cold wind). Everything is good. Sitting in a tub in the Winter is just awesome.
Great customer service and knowledgeable staff! I stopped in the store to pick up some chemicals and had a few questions. They were able to answer and educate me on all my questions. The delivery team was professional, personable and also very knowledgeable. We’ve only had our tub for 3 months but love it so far!
I have been waiting since June 10th for a hot tub. Still no call that it’s on it’s way. I can’t speak for how the hot tub works yet, but I can tell you we certainly are not thrilled with how long this is taking and no sales representative reaching out to talk to us about it either.
Shopped around and around, ended up at Master Spas and Aaron was great. He focused in on my needs and really listened. Ended up purchasing my tub and have been happy ever since. The Customer Service I have received from Master Spas has been superb. Would definitely recommend..
Lost $500 deposit after we told rep Aaron we had financial problems this year because my Mom got cancer and needed our help. Told we could NOT use deposit toward a future hot tub either as we explained. How can these people sleep at night? This master Spa Owner should be ASHAMED!!! Everyone should know they did not even order tub because we needed to put more money down before that would happen. TOTALLY disappointed! We only had signed a paper....this business was NOT out anything and kept our $500 screwing us. I will tell this story the rest of our lives. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS HERE EVER!
Purchased our hot tub 2 years ago from them at State Fair. One of the best purchases I have ever made. I keep it running all year. Nothing like 15 degrees outside and I am in the hot tub! I have not needed their service but the store personnel are extremely friendly and helpful when I need to purchase or have questions about the chemicals needed. No complaints from me.
We love our Balance 7 Clarity Spa from Master Spas! Our is outdoors, but we are able to use it year-round. Great for getting relief for sore, tired muscles. A relaxing treat at the end of any days activities. A beautiful, well-designed hot tub. Weve enjoyed working with the staff, especially the manager, Tom. We give Master Spas of Southern WI our highest rating!

Wonderful customer service. We are so pleased with our Twilight spa. We have had it for 8 years and have had no problems and run it year round. Makes winter almost something to look forward to since we enjoy it so much then. In summer we turn it down a bit and the kids love it. We would definitely purchase from them again.

Great experience. Went in to buy a replacement lift bar a few weeks ago for my hot tub cover that I purchased about 5 years ago from Master Spas. Brought in the broken one and no questions asked or verification needed, they just gave me a replacement...no charge. Two great guys working there that day. Ive had a few other minor questions and repairs over the years and always greeted with professionalism.
Updated: took 6 weeks longer than scheduled and communication could have been better, but finally got our hot tub. I’ll post more when I have a have more to talk about.
Went to the expo show tonight to buy 2 hot tubs, they gave a a special for buying 2,. We were thinking about it for a while, my friend was debating about his, and the manager grew quickly impatient and demanded his pamphlet back and told us no deal and leave.Its a shame the treatment we received on a nearly $20,000 deal in sales. It was after show hours, they were probably tired. they helped me with taking a panel off due to my layout I needed to inspect the plumbing. But still, very very pushy and rude. There was another rep that had angerly kicked the panel of a spa that was sold, to show us howmaster spas are the best they couldnt take a little criticism on the pros and cons of the build. So they became annoyed, leading to a couple of guys that left without hot tubs, shame on you bad salesman, they just wanted a quick sale, well sorry, Im a engineer and wanted to see how it was built compared to others.
We were looking for a replacement of our older spa . Three years ago i purchased the 6 person spa. it was one of the best purchases i have ever made would recommend this to anyone i know. i use my hot tub all the time, it is great for stretching sore muscles and strains. it is great for relaxing right before bed. buy one and you wont be disappointed. thanks to Sean Oconnor for the great tutorial of the tube and my purchase .
I have had my Twilight hot tub for 5 years and just love it. I use it year around. It is by far the best of the bands. The Master Spa store it grate. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always willing to help. The best one two punch anyone could ask for.
Our swim spa has been an amazing Make-A-Wish for our daughter! Her physical therapist was able to come to our home and teach her to swim in her spa. Last summer, she completed the Tri My Best Triathlon, a triathlon for kids with disabilities, and felt very proud of her accomplishments. We are so pleased with the helpfulness of the owner and staff of Master Spas.
Purchased the Twilight 6.2 at a sale at state fair park and couldnt be happier. Great product and the service is impeccable. If you have any questions or are having trouble figuring out the chemicals, stop in the store. They are super helpful!
Purchased my Master Spas tub in 2003 and never had any problems with it. I use it at least once a week and love it. The customer service is excellent and I have always had a good experience when visiting the store for chemicals or just general questions. I will definitely buy another another hot tub from them if my 15-year old tubs ever breaks!

I haven’t had my tub to long, not quite a year but so far awesome! Any issues I have had were taken care of fast with no cost. The sale guy that sold me the tub was also awesome, very nice and helpful. In store people also very nice and helpful, these things are kinda hard to get going and they help ya figure it out.
I cannot say enough great things about Master Spas! We bought our hot tub a few years ago and absolutely love it. Tom Boley is an excellent, knowledgeable, dependable, kind, and extremely customer friendly sales person. When we need chemicals or have general questions, he (and any staff member actually) is always willing to take the time to help. I could go on and on about the great experience we have had with Master Spas, but suffice it to say, when you buy a hot tub from them, you are buying the absolute best quality all the way around!

Unlike the bad reviews I have seen on this, our experience has been nothing but positive. My wife and I ordered our spa at State Fair. It was delivered on time and the crew was great in unloading and placing it exactly where I wanted it. The salesman referred us to a great electrician who put in a dedicated line and assisted with initial set up. This is year two for us and not a single issue. Also purchased supplies on line and that too was a great experience.

Love my Twilight hot tub and appreciate the friendly people at Master Spa in Waukesha. I made a few calls to them when we first got our hot tub and the staff always took the time to help. If you are in doubt when figuring out the how to keep the chemicals balanced, you can take water in and they will test it for you.
We bought a house that had one of their hot tubs already installed. They walked us through each step of taking care of it and helping us find make/model. I stop by anytime I have a question and they have been so helpful and friendly. Also side note: their chemicals are cheaper and better than what you would find on Amazon. I found that out the hard way.
Was very close to committing to a spa at State Fair sale until I met the owner. Was basically told to sign the deal now or do not even bother talking a brochure. Long story short, I didn’t take the brochure. Lost manners equaled lost sale. Thanks for making my decision a easy one.
Excellent experience. I went in for a replacement filter pump for my spa and they made sure that was what I needed before I left instead of just selling me the part I asked for. To me that is the level of customer service that many businesses lack. I appreciated the extra care instead of the usual here is your part, give me your money attitude that most businesses have today.

Sub standard customer service. No apparent SOPs in place to follow up, confirm or to correctly deliver order. I called to confirm ETA on order 3 weeks ago, then I had to call back a week later to see if delivery could be scheduled and was question if I had in fact ordered from Master Spas.Was finally able to set a delivery date which Master Spas canceled on the day it was to be delivered and changed to the next week because of Mater Spas inability to follow any Standard Operating Processes!Good news, delivery was made, delivery staff very professional & apologized for the problems I had with order. Waiting for additional delivery of support product that was back ordered. Long story short, order was delivered within 6 weeks, minus some support chemicals Nodc product appears superior.

We’ve been looking at spas for about a year on line it was very confusing, I ran across an ad on line for a spa sale at the State Fair grounds. When we arrived we meet Tom from Master Spas he was very helpful and we liked what we saw so we bought a Clarity Balance 7, he gave us a good deal.It’s what happened after that surprised me, he told us it would be delivered on that Sunday or Monday and on Monday I received a call giving me the time they would be there to deliver the spa, they showed up on time was very careful not to ruin my lawn as I needed to go down a hill around back.They set it right where we wanted it and made sure we were happy with it.Now the problem they didn’t have the startup kit so I got on the phone and called Tom on the cell phone number he gave us, he answered right away I told him what happened he said not to worry he would send it UPS he called later and gave me the tracking number, they delivered it I filled the spa that night and we enjoyed it the next night.Thanks Tom!
Ive purchased filters, chemicals, scents from the store before. This time I needed a top-side control panel and new pillows for my Healthy Living HL7. Chris, in the customer service/ the parts department, and Rich, the technician helped me get the right parts for my hot-tub. Chris went beyond and made sure the pillows were in so I wouldnt make another trip there.Excellent, knowledgeable staff at the Bluemound Rd. store.
I ordered my spa last April. I had it delivered in July. My stereo hasnt worked right since Ive had it. Tony did come out and replace the stereo unit. One of my speakers didnt work right since Ive had it either. Ive been trying to get that replaced for a year. I keep getting the run around. Say theyll be here and then not come because the speaker wasnt ordered. This was 3 weeks ago and I still dont have my speaker. It is still under warranty and they are trying to tell me Im going to have to pay labor. I will not pay for labor for something that should have been fixed right after I got it. Customer service is horrible at Waukesha. After all the money I spent on this spa, I expect EVERYTHING to be working. Now Im wishing I would have bought my spa in Madison at one of those spa places. What a joke! I will be contacting the BBB and the main headquarters with my complaint. Zero stars for them.
We had an issue with our swim spa with a big graduation party coming up and mid 90 temperatures in the forecast. Tom and Richard came out were very helpful in resolving our issue in a very timely matter, so that our graduation party was not ruined! Would recommend them! Thank you Tom and Richard!!

Jeremiah and Chris from the Waukesha location delivered our hot tub and I have nothing but the highest regard to their level of professionalism and friendliness. Not only did they do a great job answering my questions and training me on the set up, they made suggestions about placement (because of controls and power sources) and interacted with my family and pets. Jeremiah also went as far as making suggestions for future purchases to compliment our new tub and informed me of services I didnt know were offered. What great guys! What are you waiting for, buy one!I highly recommend the Good Health Sauna. Take care of yourself..Detox and rejuvenate. I have the GSE-2 and love it. My only regret, I should have went bigger as the whole family now wants to join in on the benefits. Purchased a Twilight Series 8.2 from Tom in 2017, and we absolutely love our spa! We love all the features, and it’s very easy to maintain. I like the eco-pur system keeps chlorine levels low, so it feels great on my skin. We use our spa frequently, haven’t had any problems, and highly recommend Masterspa.
My family and I just started looking for a hot tub and stumbled across master spa at state fair. Within seconds we were greeted by one of the representatives..he was able to answer all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure we knew everything we needed to when the time came to make the purchase.. on the way home we discussed it and decided to move forward with the purchase.. upon delivery the guys were great! They set up the tub exactly where we wanted (after quite a bit of moving it to get it just right) and went through everything we needed to know. A week in now and couldnt be happier... all n all masterspa was amazing.. start to finish a great experience and I highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks from the daams family
We purchased our Master Spa during the WI State Fair a year ago and love it! Friendly customer service and very helpful. There is an ongoing issue with the ECO Filter (orange center filter). The filter housing is glued together (not the best design since it sits in water all the time). Ive been told Master Spas is changing the design. Until then, Ive been told to bring in the filter and they will replace it F.O.C. Im on my 2nd replacement in one year. Hoping they find a new fix soon. Everything else on the spa is great!

Dont know what we would have done without the helpful staff at Master Spas in Waukesha. They went above and beyond helping us with our spa cover - wouldnt fit in our truck, we were on their way to an event and they dropped it off on their way. Dont hear about this kind of service very often - but, they sure came through!!
