We bought a new Stearns & Foster Mattress today at the Wausau store. Mike is the store manager and was the person who took care of us! He is extremely knowledgeable about mattresses and did a fantastic job helping us find our perfect mattress. We can’t wait to get it! We asked lots of questions and he was so friendly and gave us his expert advice. We were there for over three hours! He also assisted us with our bed frame purchase and also helped us with accessories.We highly recommend Mike! He really cares about his customers.

One name…Wayne Radlinger..Anyone can sell you a mattress but Wayne is someone that you can connect with. He is passionate and enjoys his job. He showed me all the choices I had and helped me to find the right mattress for me. I was there for two hours bed hopping. Wayne asked questions about my likes and dislikes and what I was looking for. I have a chronic pain condition and because he has first-hand personal experience with that he was able to share what has worked for him.He is honest and upfront and does not pressure. It’s really refreshing. He worked within my budget. There was no pressure to get anything out of my price range. I can’t thank him enough for his help and when I am in need of another mattress, I know who I will be going to.

Being the last day to scoop in on Presidents Day sales (shopping for an adjustable bed), we decided to check out one more place before heading back to another store we were probably going to purchase at. That place: Mattress Firm in Wausau, and Im glad we did! The salesman was so nice, very helpful and not pushy. In the end we made a deal for a mattress and adjustable base i only had dreams of owning! And the experience was so much better than another place we shopped at (not mentioning names but in close vicinity to Mattress Firm - hint hunt!)

Got a great deal on mattress set from salesman, from warehouse in another city. Was impressed by Wassau salesman. Experience at pickup location was acceptable but far from impressive, we had 200 miles plus to get mattress to house, was assisted in getting mattress on top of vehicle. Thrown some twine and assistant went inside. We stopped at nearest hardware store to get mattress properly tied down with good rope for long drive ahead.

We got there around 7:00 pm and they closed at 8:00. Lance was our salesman and answered all our questions and was willing to stay late to take care of our needs. He also got us the best deal he could. There selection was also very wide with a lot of good options to choose from, would highly recommend.Addendum; The delivery guys dropped the mattress off and after my wife and I put it in we discovered defective stitching on the top of the mattress. I put in a request for a replacement and I’m a bit irritated that the management only agreed to swap it once and count this is our one swap for the 120 day warranty which means we lose our chance to change it later if needed. I appreciate that they are doing the one swap however am not happy that they didn’t take care of a factory defect without penalizing us our 120 change warranty. We do love the way the bed feels however so not likely we would’ve needed to swap anyway.Addendum 2. The mattress was swapped yesterday for no-charge and although the stitching is still off on the Serta mattress it is acceptable. We love the way the Hybrid 2000 feels.

I continue to be impressed by Mattress Firm. This is my second purchase from a Mattress Firm store, and I couldnt be more pleased. Lance was absolutely amazing. Hes probably the most personable sales associate I have worked with! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make it a great experience. Had a great in store service, however the service that sets up your bed for you far outweighs the in store experience. Red Carpet was late, they complained that we paid them to set up a headboard addition because they “wanted to get to the next place”, were disruptive and loud, claimed that I didn’t make any money and my boyfriend paid for the bed in front of my face, left a KING SIZE cardboard box in our yard without telling us so when we left we saw it blowing around in the wind, AND they set up our headboard addition wrong so we had to redo the work anyway. In all, go for buying the mattress from mattress firm, but ONLY if you plan on setting it up yourself.. don’t pay extra for the Red Carpet in home delivery service. Not worth the money.

So me and my husband decided to upgrade kind of knew what we wanted...Mike was awesome not only did he not push us into something we didnt want but got an awesome deal....very friendly and helped us make the right choice.

I dealt with Michael Hatala and he was very pleasant. He also really knows alot about the product that he is selling! It was very easy to make this purchase after getting an education about what I was buying. I did not feel belittled or disrespected in any way for my lack of knowledge. Got a $900.00 mattress eight months ago and was waiting till the virus is over to return it because it is horrible. It is like I have permanent dip in it! Like I am sleeping in a hole. They said they will not do anything about it so I will not get anything from them again. Not happy!Mike was fantastic for helping me resolve this problem. Worst experience ever paid on the spot had the run around to get my mattress delivered!!! Was promised free delivery had to pick up myself never again !!!! The delay was for both bed and i had free delivery on both beds not just the queen one Mike!!! I went to Matress firm in Wausau to look for a new bed on Friday September 25th and I am so glad that I did. Mike Hatala was very helpful, nice and didnt try to push me into buying just anything. I had purchased a bed from this company back in 2012 and had a good experience and I received the same treatment this time as well. I received an amazing deal on 2 beds and was able to finance them with no problem and delivery was only a week out. We were able to find and purchase a mattress that fit our needs at a great price with the help of salesman Mike. He was very knowledgeable about merchandise and went above and beyond to get us the best deal! Cant wait to try it out!

I worked with Mike at the Wausau store. I told him what I was looking for and he pointed me in the right direction. I had to wait 2 days for my items to be shipped to the store which was more than reasonable. Once my items came in, he called and let me know so I could come and pick it up. Once I got home, I started putting my new bed together and realized that I got a defective part for my frame. The steel bars were welded together crooked so the ends were not flush. Mike was willing to have me bring everything back and he offered to help me try and set up the frame there at the store with the parts I had and if it didnt work, we would work together to exchange the frame. I ended up fixing the part for the frame myself so I did not need to bring everything back to the store but I appreciated his offer.Mike =5 starsDefective frame parts =3 stars
