Brought my car here after a rookie mechanic butchered my sound system in my car after installing aftermarket radio. The owner, Rad, was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Not only did he fix my car and got all my speakers working again properly, he did it pretty fast as well.

The tunes are certainly radical, but the service is bodacious at Radical Tunes in Wayne! I had a 5-channel amp, a sub-woofer, rear reference speakers, and a component audio system installed recently. Red (the owner) and a young apprentice worked on my car and produced stellar work. It was an exceedingly tidy installation, where all the cabling got hidden. Having had messy work done in the past by other dealers, I know that the guys at Radical Tunes are all about attention-to-detail. The job took approximately two days, which was fine since they got everything right on the first shot. The resulting sound system is perfect, and it seems like they calibrated it a bit themselves to what they thought would sound good. I have no complaints, and the owner assured me that their work comes with a lifetime guarantee should anything ever go wrong. Additionally, the pricing at Radical Tunes is cheaper than all the other shops I called, and they work off a true-quote, as opposed to an hourly rate. This ensures that no extra fees get baked into the final sale, which is refreshing. 5 stars.

Just got a sub and amp installed in my truck and they did a very good job. Very clean install, didnt leave any scratches anywhere on or in the truck, and tuned the sub perfectly. Overall, Im very happy that I made the drive over to them. Worth the money

Just had more work done this past month, on two of my cars, by Red, the owner and man of many talents at Radical Tunes. Red has been fulfilling all of my car electronics needs for a few years now. And I just came to find out that he also helped my in laws as well over the past couple of decades. They were happy, repeat customers as well.Red is the stereotypical example of the quiet expert who under promises and over delivers. This time out, he installed LED fogs, turn signals and headlights in both of our Jeeps. These sorts of installations can be very problematic if the installer is not expert and experienced. Todays cars have sophisticated on board computer systems that annoy you with all kinds of warnings if the electronics arent just so. Red didnt blink.Red said hed take care of everything and at an very fair price. I was sceptical because these LED conversations were new to me and I was in unfamiliar territory.But Red had done considerable traditional aftermarket electronics in my previous cars. Whenever any later discrepancies showed up, he didnt whine or complain, he just fixed everything at no charge, no questions asked. And these discrepancies may or may not have been his fault. Didnt matter, he just took ownership of the issue and solved it. As though it was expected and everyone operates with this high level of ethics and professionalism.Red is one of a kind. Ive heard that dealers send their cars to him when their shop cant figure things out. Red quietly and systematically finds a solution..This is a guy you want to support and trust with a broad variety of aftermarket challenges. Some of his custom solutions may not be in the book... which is why I guess that dealers send their cars there.If and when Red ever retires, well be hard pressed to find a replacement. Hes a find and one of a kind.

I went to Radical Tunes because I wanted a remote start installed on my car and Radical Tunes was recommended from a friend. Originally, I thought it was a bit pricey but after doing some research, it was actually fair. In addition, Brad the owner, guarantees his work for life.I had a more high end remote start installed in my car. In addition to having a traditional remote, you can also download an app on you device and operate the remotes start, door lock and unlock, and trunk functions as well. This is useful as the app operates through satellite which allows the functions to work anywhere within the US - meaning you are never out of range of your car as you would be with traditional remotes. I was a bit cautious in going with this type as some of the app reviews I read said it was unreliable. Brad assured me it would be fine and he in fact had the same type for his car.When I picked up the car, initially I did have some difficulty getting the remote start to work through my phone. Brad helped me to figure out what the problem was and it has been working great for nearly 3 months now. I must say that even if I could have gotten a slightly better deal on the job, I would still go back to Radical Tunes. My wife wants the same remote start for her car and we will definitely be going back.

Ive bought a head unit as well as a set of xenon headlights from Radical Tunes and I couldnt be happier with everything.  They are extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. Rad is a genuinely, nice guy and Id confidently recommend them to anyone.

I stopped by Radical Tunes today at the recommendation of my brother. I needed a new CD player installed in the pickup truck I had just bought. The young guy behind the counter was very helpful and told me he could install what I wanted in 2 hours and could start right away. He put down what he was doing and as promised, two hours later I was done. The whole bill was $321 which I thought very fair for the model, the installation and the quick service. I would definitely return for anything else I needed.

Great experience with Radical tunes, installation took a little while but it was definitely worth it! Rad was awesome, they even fixed up some shoddy wiring issues from the previous owner at no cost. Perfect customer service and well knowledgeable I couldnt be any happier. I will definitely be returning and I would refer anybody to these guys!

Went there today for the first time to have them check out my Amp. Awesome Customer Service. The guys are very knowledgeable and down to earth. They worked on my car for about 30 to 45 minutes and fixed my problem and the best part is they charged me only $20 for parts. I was a happy man I definitely will be back to see these guys when I need something and I highly recommend them to everyone.

This guy is a rip off. I went to him to check if my radio installation was good. Pretty sure it was just the blown out fuse. I pulled out my radio after he fixed it and saw that it had the crimps that I did. Along with that he ripped out my speakers and told me they dont work any more. Do yourself a favor and avoid going to this guy!

This is the place to go, the owner Rad was great he installed my remote starter while I waited. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

My experience here was very negative. I was taken advantage of and ended up not knowing what speakers were installed in my car, how much they had been worth, and they began failing quickly. The first two channels of my amp failed leaving my front two speakers silent. I checked the wiring that had been done and the wiring I paid extra for was the lowest quality I have ever seen. The contacts were thin, flimsy, and do not hold onto their connections well. There is a lot of static and feedback in the connections and that is something that has lasted since installation. Not only was the owner disinterested, dismissive, and not great to be around, the installation in my vehicle was done with the lowest quality components, late, and for $700 I got four $45 speakers a $75 Sub and wiring... I will not be back and have spoken to 5 friends who shared my sentiments.

Having been going to Rad for years, hes a great guy with even greater prices. Will highly recommend.

Went here a year and a half ago for a DVD player to be installed in my traverse. I got great price and they always stand by their work.

Went there to get a second opinion as I was not happy with the way my new navigation system sounded. The original installer tried to fix it but finally they just made the system louder and told me thats that. Out of desperation, Id figure I get a second opinion as I new that the system should and could sound better. Well, Rad looked at my system and put in an amp (which I figured was what I needed) and low and behold my system was better than ever! Did the install in one day and was very receptive to what I wanted...not what he wanted. I have no problem recommending them and am going back for any other add ons I may want. And the finished job was very well done...no hanging wires or loose dashboard parts...very very pleased!

My good friend took his car here to have audio work done... it took months to do, and the guy never even finished putting in everything that was paid for. Stay away.

When ever I srop in ..hes always pleasant.. knowledgable and ready to work with you...rhis time my system came on and off from rime to time...he did a full diagnostic...at no charge!..Salt of the earth kinda guy...

Buyers beware stay away! Tried returning 300$ worth of parts chased him around for 3 days his story kept changeing had to call the police and threaten calling the division of consumer affairs and all of a sudden he had money and accepted returns
