My installer, Danny Bacon was professional and detail in every way. His suggestion for using diagonal cut for transition strip between kitchen and living room gave my kitchen a fresh new look. All trim was cut and installed perfectly. I highly recommend The Carpet Barn for your flooring. They offer quality material at a fair price.

When I was choosing my flooring I was shown only what I was looking for, my questions were answered, information was provided, and the sales person was easy going, nice to talk to, seemed to enjoy his work.I show up to pick my flooring up, they have to move pallets to get to it, they pull the order, wrap it tightly and load it on the truck in just a few minutes.When they realize I dont have straps, they LOAN me straps. They CARED about my safety. People, this is the place for flooring. Excellent selection, excellent service, excellent prices, good people.

They have the best selection of In stock LVT around. Make sure you ask for the Kraus LVT, it has a diamond finish. It is super durable and very easy to install! The customer service is great too! They are very nice and easy to work with!

We just had carpet installed in our new home. I will start off by saying the carpet quality and the workmanship are both great. We are overall happy with the finished product, however, we had a little mishap during the day of installation.We had just moved in and were going to be out of town for a few days. Thankfully, not much of our stuff was here yet. We gave a code for them to enter our home and do the install two days before we were scheduled to arrive back in town. Upon our arrival, we found several disturbing things. There was a spill on the carpet (an area that was very wet). I tried to be fair and look for an air vent nearby, or anything that may have caused a leak - there were none. I got down on my hands and knees and smelled the area, which turned out to be beer.We had all of our water in the home turned off and on both toilets in the house left a taped sign that said please do not use - water in home is turned off. DO NOT USE. There was pee left in the toilet and a womans tampon wrapper laying on our bathroom floor....Our outdoor patio furniture was rearranged, the door was left unlocked, our outdoor light was knocked over, and they damaged a wall corner while carrying in the carpet.I had our neighbor keeping an eye on the place while we were gone and she came down to talk to them. They were here from 10:00 am and left well after 8:30 pm. I got a text from the installer at 6:44 pm saying well be out of here in just a few minutes, well I guess a few minutes turned into over an hour and a half.I feel really taken advantage of due to the fact that we werent home and they knew it. Probably our fault for trusting a company in our home without us being there, but we felt confident after they said they have done it plenty of times before.I called to talk to the owner, who could barely give me the time of day, and he did offer me $150 off to fix my wall. When I went in to pay the balance, he wouldnt even look at me and had someone else take care of me. Really disappointing. Youd think a business owner would care a little bit more about what their employees are doing. I would not recommend this company unless you plan to be there watching them during an install.

We just recently had our basement floor done and we are so pleased with how it all turned out. The floors look amazing. Installers were very professional and fast. Everyone at showroom especially Cary was very helpful. Highly recommend using them.

Bought flooring from them for new construction. Flooring is less than a year old and defective. They wont help at all. Love selling it to you youre on your own after that.

Drove 40+ miles to Waynesville’s Carpet Barn in the hunt for a great living room area rug. Got there at 3:11. Owner said they had closed at 3:00 Saturday ever since pandemic started. Wouldn’t let us in. Unfortunately, their website said they close at 5:00 on Saturday. Didn’t matter to him. Mattered to me. 👎

HONESTY, INTEGRITY And PROFESSIONALISM. This is what I can best say about Carpet Barn of Waynesville NC. I recently used Carpet Barn to have several rooms in my home re-floored. To complicate things, the work needed to be done while I was out-of-state. Everyone at Carpet Barn was fantastic to work with to get the job planned and completed while I was away. I returned after the job was completed and found the workmanship of the installation to be exceptional. Unfortunately, there was one issue. One of the products installed was different from what I remembered ordering. When I brought this to their attention, they immediately researched it and told me they had made a mistake. Just as quickly, they had a resolution to make things right. Based on Carpet Barns reaction, I believe this was a very rare mistake but I was overwhelmed by how well they handled it! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARPET BARN AND I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!

Went with my husband on Saturday early afternoon. No acknowledgement from the staff upon walking in. We wandered around looking at floor sample when an extremely rude man came up to us what we were doing. I felt like I was not supposed to be looking around. I told him what I was interested in (blank tile) and he commenced in disparaging my choice. I cannot stress how rude this man was. I finally walked away leaving my poor husband to converse with him. We left without ordering nor did we get any better idea of what would fit our needs. I have no idea how it got as many high ratings as it has. I was so excited about starting to make a change in my house and that I was finally at a place that we could do so and instead walked away. Will not be going back here.

I have never had a company go so far out of their way to please my wife and I. Joe the owner is a great person who enjoys giving back to the community. Thanks Joe you run a great company!!!

I’m so happy with my carpet from this store! It is perfect soft on our feet and just the right color. We originally went to Lowes and after shock over the price because of the “lifetime installation warranty” and much frustration. We called Carpet Barn we got lucky and spoke to Kerry who understood our frustration we made arrangements for the two rooms to be measured and for a visit to the store to select our carpet. We received the estimate and surprise it was almost half of what Lowes estimate was. We needed a Saturday installation and they made it happen. From start to finish Carpet Barn has been the best experience with no frustration. Go to Carpet Barn first don’t waste your time with the big box stores.
