My husband and I went to SSS to look over their slabs in the yard. About 10 minutes after we arrived, a woman rushed out of the store and came over to us and told us we were in a restricted area. We had no idea we were not allowed to look at the slabs that were right in front of their store-(we had done this at a few fabricators before.) We told her we had an appointment with Erin tomorrow and as we were in the area, we wanted to stop in and preview the slabs. She told us she was Erin and we couldnt be in the yard due to insurance/liability issues. Now, it is not what she said, but the tone and mannerisms that she used. She was abrupt and downright rude. Frankly, we were both taken aback and shocked she would treat prospective clients this way-she made us feel like we were doing something criminal. Needless to say, we did not return and went with another fabricator for our new build counter tops. I told my husband that this must be a family run business and no reputable business would be this unprofessional. When we went to another fabricator we told the rep our story and she said she heard from previous clients who have had similar experiences at SSS, and that this was a family run business and Erin was a family member.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful job on my kitchen, highly recommend.

After much research and time walking around trade shows, we chose Solid Surface Specialists for our kitchen and bath counter tops. Trying to update a kitchen while maintaining the solid honey oak cabinets is not easy. Erin has such a great eye for design and helped us pick out just the right quartz to modernize our spaces. We are planning to use them for our next big project.

Came out and took measurements. Said they would get us a quote the next day. Over a week later and several phone calls to them and an email, still with no quote or call back. Dont waste your time.
