Knowledgeable staff an made u feel important. Helped found what i needed an explained the engredients an experiences from other customers based on if if they felt better or soso. And not pushy either, i like that. Be back again an lots to chose from for better health.

This is a fantastic store. With a large selection of foods and snacks as well as pretty much any natural remedy supplement you could want. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and seems to care when she asks questions and offers advice.

Went in this morning to purchase some liquid biotin, wasnt greeted by the woman behind the counter when I was coming in and walked around trying to locate what I needed, came across the same lady on one aisle who was at the counter when I entered I asked her where I would find it and she took me to it (the only thing she did correct while I was in there). I took the product and walked over to the register to pay, she comes over and starts to ring me up (keep in mind she never asked if I would be using cash or a card) my mom walks over to the counter after she rings it in and my mom starts to pull cash out of her wallet the woman sighs and says oh ok are you really using cash? and makes a big deal like its going to mess up her register and the way she rang it up. At this point Im ready to walk out because of how rude this women is, but I just tell her no its fine I have a card I can use. Im sorry but if it made a difference she needed to ask me first if I would be paying in cash or using a card, I would not have been mad or offended because I have worked in retail and small businesses before all cash systems are different and I understand cards are not ran the same everywhere without there being different buttons for the cashier to push but this lady was straight up rude and in all honesty a real b*tch. After I paid my mom found something she wanted to try and while the same old lady was ringing her up my mom tried to engage in some small talk like normal people do and the lady interrupts her mid sentence to ask if she is done or needs anything else. This was my first and absolute last time in this store and I will never recommend it to anyone. If you work in customer service and retail you have to have a certain tolerance for engaging with the customers especially considering we were literally the only two customers in the store at the time. I understand if its busy and your trying to move the line along but that wasnt the case here and even when you work in a high volume store or business you still have to provide customer service even if you dont want to, you cant be rude and run a business unless you want to run it into the ground.

This is a great place. You can but fresh herbs. There is essential oils, and all kinds of natural products to buy.

The BEST customer service of any health food store in WNC! The prices are higher than the grocery store, but if you need recommendations for yourself, this is the place to go! Dale is especially awesome!

We always support Natural Food Shops. We support any effort to bring wholesome foods. We were visiting Waynesville, (my first time). I had found about this store before hand to check it out.The Clerk had an uneasy behavior and I was not sure what it was. Could it have been due to my dark skin? Here is South after all. Or she could have other things on her mind.We didnt buy much because the prices were too high, and we were there for the first time to check the place out.We bought a few items, and was charged triple the cost. The person charged us for whole pound of coffee when it was 1/3 pound. And that was not the only mistake…. well, our total she said $74. Both my husband and I are pretty savvy at calculation, and said What? She did it again, and came up with $27.So does possible prejudice make people loose their intelligence? Or the store is operates with unskilled cashiers. I hope to hear from others to see if I am being paranoid or this is why the store did not have many customers. Sad and Disappointing.

The prices are higher than Ive seen at most other stores of its kind, but They have an amazing selection. Anything I cant find at mother earth (And dont feel like waiting for in the mail) is usually at Zoolies.
