From the moment i walked in the office is warm and friendly. The front office staff is well organized and helpful. The exam procedure is very well run and designed to get you to see the Dr. quickly I had virtually no wait. Dr. Lanier is very pleasant and is someone who truly loves what he does. He was very thorough and I do believe once all is said and done my vision will be perfect...until next year. From beginning to end I felt like they cared about me as their patient. I highly recommend Family Eye Care Center.

Dr. Lanier and staff are fantastic. My prescription required some adjustments, and everyone was patient and compassionate. I wont go anywhere else for my families eye exams or glasses.

I recently went for the first time to update my prescription for my glasses and contacts. Every person I interacted with was so nice and informative. I always knew what everything did, and was given clear instructions on every part of my exam. I have a decently high prescription, but they actually had my contacts available there! I would highly recommend going!

My last eye exam was during my teen years. I visited Dr. Laniers office several weeks ago and today to pick up my eye glasses. The first visit I had the pleasure of experiencing Marks, technician, wonderful customer service and Dr. Laniers professionalism. They made me feel comfortable and at ease with the entire process. Also, the young lady ( Hannah?) who assisted me in choosing the frame was very helpful and patient . Today, Rosa and Jennifer, front desk, assisted me. They were courteous and professional. Its always a pleasant experience with my appointments, the whole staff is very efficient and kind! I tend to be a very anxious person but they make the whole process super easy and stress free!

I switched eye doctors at the recommendation of my father in law. Excellent visit from start to finish. Each individual employee that helped me was polite, happy and helpful (especially on a Monday an hour before lunch!). This office is ran like a well oiled machine, I was in there for less than 40 minutes!! I cant say enough good things about Dr. Lanier, very professional, friendly and happy! I cant believe how much better I can see now. Ive been wearing contacts for over half my life and this is as close to perfect as it gets. I dont write reviews often but I am blown away by my experience today and wanted to share!

Dr. Lanier is AWESOME. He’s a very nice man. I have been seeing him since I was a kid!However, I gave my insurance info over the phone and offered it at the front counter and nothing was mentioned about not accepting my insurance. So I went through with my appointment, picked out my glasses, and was hit with a $500 bill at the end. They said they didn’t accept my insurance but not one time was that mentioned before I went through with my appointment. They ended up not charging me for the visit, which was nice, but didn’t even give me my prescription to take with me. So now I have to take off another day of work and do this all again somewhere else.Overall, I do recommend this place, BUT this was just very unprofessional on their part. I had to leave it with this review since I will probably not be going back.

My daughter did not pass the vision screen given by her pediatrician for her school wellness check. My daughter was 4, almost 5, at the time of the first failed screen and most eye doctors in Weatherford wouldn’t take her until 7 years old, except a pediatric specialist, who were booked out for almost 2 months. Family Eye Care said they would make an appointment for my daughter for after she turned 5, which was weeks sooner than the pediatric specialist, so that’s what I decided to do. They did try to cancel the appointment once because she wasn’t 5 yet, but I explained she would be 5 at the time of her appointment. I wasn’t thrilled about that, but they did keep the appointment and I’m so glad they did! Dr. Lanier was AMAZING with her— so kind, patient, and matched her energy. She did better on this screen than she did at her pediatrician, but she still does need glasses. He explained everything to me very well and he also commended me for realizing that her failed screen at the pediatrician was likely because she needed glasses due to a family history of it. I didn’t want to purchase glasses there and they were friendly and understanding, and even gave me my daughters PD before leaving, making ordering glasses for her online easier for me. I would also add that it was affordable and they told me the cost over the phone before my appointment, so I knew what to expect. I appreciated their straightforward honesty and no gimmicks approach, as well as receiving remarkable care from Dr. Lanier. Since she will now need eye exams and glasses for life, we will definitely continue to see Dr. Lanier!

Emmy was a great help in selecting frames. It usually takes me several trips, hours and the assistance of a friend. Emmy had me in 2 perfect frames within about 15 minutes. Shes got a great sense of style and confidence. Highly recommend this practice.

This clinic is in my opinion the best in Weatherford. They were very thorough and explained all their tests in detail. I highly recommend.

Friendly fast courteous service. This is the second time I had to come in and have them fix my glasses after stepping on them and popping the lens out. Both times they pop the lens back in for me within 10 minutes. They straightened and cleaned them,and I was out in Jiffy. no charge either time,I’m glad I buy my glasses at a place I can walk into and see a friendly face, it would’ve been terrible to have to mail these off somewhere and wait.

Disgusted with my experience at this place! I’m pretty upset that I couldn’t rate this place a zero. Never have I been disrespected like I was at a place like this one! I won’t be returning even to pick up my glasses. I’ll be sending someone else. TRASH! Do not go!
