Back Home Bakery was a great, affordable bakery for our Oct. 2021 wedding cake! I loved a hand-painted cake I saw on their site, and they created one with our floral and added additional floral elements. We had a lemon cake with raspberry preservers and buttercream. It was so yummy! Also, Erin was very easy to work with. When we initially had our tasting and meeting, our cake needed to be four tiers. When our guest count went down, they were super nice about us downsizing our cake. I would definitely recommend using Back Home Bakery!

My family and I have ordered from Back Home Bakery throughout the years because their cakes and bakes are delicious! Their cakes have always been a bit pricey but it’s always been worth it because of the quality job they do! I can’t get enough of this place.Recently, I asked about putting in an order for a special cake celebrating my sister in law’s first baby. Naturally our go to was BHB but was a bit disappointed to hear that though I had wanted to place an order for 2 weeks in advance, this cake was simply not doable due to the wedding cakes orders due that week.I am a bit disappointed to hear that our order did not matter to Back Home Bakery. Back Home Bakery absolutely made my Moms 88 birthday wonderful. Living out of state, yet wanting to something different and special for her, the ladies at the bakery put together a lovely box of cookies and cupcakes. On one of the cupcakes they actually put two candles for 88! So very fun. The packaging was beautiful and the cookies and cupcakes were absolutely delicious! She was surprised and has loved sharing these delicious treats. Thank you so much!

Back Home Bakery is absolutely amazing! We booked them for our wedding day 8/15/2020. Our venue was at Dove Ridge Vineyard and back home bakery offers delivery service as well! Which was amazing because I did not have to worry about the transportation. We received so many compliments from our guest saying how tasty and moist the cake was. The team there is so helpful and make sure to make your vision come alive! Highly recommend them for any events! You do not want to miss out on their services!

OUR CAKE WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! Like most brides, we think (or dream) of that perfect Pinterest wedding, and more importantly... THE CAKE! I was told that there are a few things people remember from a wedding, and the cake is on the top of that list! BHB brought my Pinterest dream alive and so much MORE!!They were so accommodating due to COVID, and since we were not able to be there in person, we picked up our tasting “to-go”.Speaking from someone who has no artistic ability, they were able to make the design EXACTLY like the photo I gave them for inspiration! We couldn’t stop gawking at the cake, our guests included!! Erin was super responsive, and so great to work with! The flavors we picked were DELICIOUS! If you are looking for someone to create something AMAZING and beautiful, LOOK NO MORE! My mother-in-law surprised me and even ordered my wedding cake flavors as cupcakes for my bridal shower! It was such a hit and so much fun to be able to get a taste before the big day! I can’t wait to use BHB at my next event!Thank you!

I only rated them a 2 star because they dont make cinnamon rolls anymore. And thats the first pic that shows when I googled them. We drove all the way there and no cinnamon rolls. 😒🤨😭 But they were very friendly!!

We waited on the lady who was on the phone, drove from Granbury. We knew what we were going to get but the lady grabbed all the cookies we wanted for whoever was on the phone instead of serving the people who were right there in front of her.

They were fantastic to work with during the design process and the many follow up conversations that both we and our daughter had them. They made my wedding cake. It was absolutely perfect and tasted even better. We had the butter pecan and red velvet. People commented that it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. They were great to work with. Highly recommend.

I had them make me a cake for the Fourth of July.They did an awesome job!! I suggest you try them. You won’t go anywhere else.

Really disappointed. The custom cake had the wrong frosting and the buttercream is really bad. No flavor, just tastes like powdered sugar and very greasy. The people were nice and decorations looked good, but worst bakery cake I have ever had. I wish I had tried before ordering a birthday cake and cupcakes also.

Their pecan shortbread cookies are delicious. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Their chicken salad sandwich is delicious. So tasty.

I am disappointed I special ordered a key lime pie and it tasted like they use salted butter in the graham cracker crust. It also tasted burnt and it wasnt at all what I expected from a place thats supposed to be as good as they are. It definitely was not worth $20 for the pie. I really hope they do better at their other baked goods. The only reason I am giving three stars is because their customer service skills are absolutely excellent. The employees are friendly, helpful, and fun. I should mention Im going to give them another chance because nobody bats a thousand but I am disappointed in the key lime pie.

We came here a couple weeks ago, looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. So we came to this quaint corner off the square and got a few different things. Cake pops, cookies, pumpkin cheesecake braided pastry... it was all very good! And the folks there were super helpful, as were sort of new to the area. They recommended some local haunts, and the owner if the neighboring antique store chatted with us a bit. Well definitely be back, the Bakerys Facebook page had some awesome looking cakes and other seasonal offerings that we will have to try!

We used Back Home Bakery for our wedding cake and grooms cake (which was actually a brownie tower). From the tasting to the ordering process to delivery to the final product, Back Home was phenomenal to work with. We only visited one bakery when planning our wedding, and we do not regret it, because Back Home was absolutely perfect.

I attended a baby shower today and the cake was exquisite! I asked where it came from and the answer was Back Home Bakery. Not only was the cake decorated really cute with little boots and big sunflowers--it was moist, and delightful--a buttery almond flavor. I live in Arlington, but I would be willing to drive the hour from home to get something this delicious for a special occasion.

My daughter ordered my birthday cake, they did a fantastic job on it. It was so close to the picture she show them. I would definitely order from them again. The cake tasted great too.

Back Home Bakery made us our wedding cake and it was beautiful! Exactly what I asked for and it tasted just as great! All of our guests loved it and we barely had some left. We had a 4 tier naked cake (white/chocolate almond) and a full sheet cake (grooms cake) just in case for 250 guests.

They made our wedding cake (marble sponge with buttercream icing) and it was MARVELOUS. My wife and I ate leftover cake for dinner 7 nights in a row after we got back from our honeymoon. And she doesnt even like cake. Best wedding cake weve ever had and our guests still talk about it a year later. Shout out to decorator Laura B.!

Back Home Bakery is by far the BEST at EVERYTHING they do from customer service to the amazing eats they create! I ordered a cake for my sons police academy graduation and asked for a badge on the cake. They did a wonderful job on the badge and a wonderful job on the cake as usual!! We ordered a cake for my sons 4th birthday party...a racing theme. We sent a picture of what we were kind of looking for and they called to get details of what we were wanting OUR cake to look like. The cake looked FANTASTIC and we got a lot of compliments on it....even better than the appearance was the taste!!! There wasnt a single slice left! Thank yall for doing a top notch job!

Just leaving Back Home Bakery..... I bet the baked goods are great..... Not really inclined to even eat what I have purchased....as the counter lady was very snooty. She acted as if she did not want to be there and was put out to even assist us. She looked down her nose the whole time. I get it, 3:15 on a Friday afternoon.... No one wants to be at work.... But at least wipe that rude, judgement look off your face.... I bought $21 of stuff.... But I will not be back!

I went to Jeris for my sons first birthday party & the cake was delicious & they also made sugar cookies in the shape of the number 1. Jeris is a great bakery with friendly staffs. Thank u ladies u surely made my sons 1st special.

Pulliam Pools just had a 100 year celebration and hired Jeris Back Home Bakery to create a three-tier cake, forty individual cakes for the tables, and 360 individually wrapped cookies shaped like beach balls, bathing suits, sunglasses, and swimming trunks. Everything was delivered on time, decorated beautifully, and tasted wonderful. They even prepared individual pool tiles out of sugar. I highly recommend them. They are professional and truly care about the product they deliver. I also recommend their vast selection of cookies, cake balls and petit fours. You will go back for more.

They did my wedding cake and it was sooooo good! Their icing is the best. Most places have a chemical taste to there icing but Jerrys doesnt. Everything always taste fresh and homemade and looks professional. Also the cream horns taste like clouds!

Best Bakery Ever.I have been coming here for 10 years. They have made every birthday cake for my son since he was born. As for the simple person that said everything tastes the same, you must have lost your mind or something. Also you spelled waste as waist. You know, you put a belt around your waist. Not bright. Dont listen to Tarryn whats her name.

I came in on a Tuesday while on my lunch break, to pick up sweets for my coworkers & I. I purchased several items for us to try out because none of us had visited this bakery before. I bought 3 types of cookies: Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Raisan, & a Chocolate Crinkle cookie. I also purchased a round cookie with chocolate icing in the center, & a Banana Nut Bread Sandwhich with white icing in the center, as well.I was highly highly dissatisfied with each of the pricy items- each sweet item, though appearing different, tasted the EXACT same- bland & altogether tasteless.The one good part of the trip was that one of the employees was friendly & nice towards me(the others did not acknowledge the precense of a new customer).I do not not recommend waisting your hard earned money on tastless & overpriced sweets.
