I had a great experience having these folks fix my treadmill. Tech was prompt, communicated by text (which I very much prefer when I’m working) and got my old machine up and running for less than I was expecting.

I was scammed by this company. Please do not use. I paid for a motor for my treadmill. It was never delivered and never repaired. First he tried to blame it on covid due to shipping. Finally he stopped returning my messages. On the surface, he appeared to be a nice man, but never came back after the initial diagnosis of supposedly needing a new motor!! I would never recommend this company!!!

No surprise seeing all these 1 star reviews.....I would give lower if there was that option. After several weeks of phone tag and trying to reach someone I was told that I was finally on their schedule for today but no one showed up! Then I get a text 45 minutes after the scheduled time saying the technician will not be there!!! Taking my business elsewhere!

I have been trying for a month to get this guy out to my place to fix my bike. He is incredibly difficult to reach by phone. Furthermore I went to the associated business address & found little more than an empty warehouse.When I finally was able to reach him & make an appointment, he then stood me up (twice). Once was a ‘no call no show’. The other time he gave me a fishy last minute excuse.I don’t know what is going on with this guy. I had money waiting & wanted to pay for his service. I wouldn’t recommend that you waist your time.

Excellent company they took great care of my treadmill and got me up and running (literally) faster than I ever expected. I will recommend a1 fitness repair to everyone. Thanks for everything

So happy i called A1. The the that came out turns out to be extremely handy in a lot of areas. My husband and will definitely be calling him for all our house repair needs.God sent....

I previously wrote a critical review weeks ago and offered to remove it once he completed the work. Suddenly, after months of trying to reach him, he finally responded to me (due to my review). He said he will get the parts and come right away. Weeks (months) later and Im still waiting. Ive been calling him and leaving messages and see today he claims a cease and desist to me with a threat of a lawsuit!? He took apart two of my home machines, left to get parts and never returned and wont answer. Those are the facts. The positive reviews he has must be fake and created by him. Go elsewhere. Tim, my offer still stands, come finish the work and I will remove my critical posts.

If you value your time at all, I would not recommend giving this company your business because they certainly do not. Originally scheduled an appointment for Friday, they never called or showed up. We called and they didnt even remember scheduling a time. We ended up rescheduling for today and they have stood us up again. Every call goes straight to voicemail and weve left 3 voicemails with zero response.

Tim came for the initial call, diagnosed my treadmill as needing a new walking belt. Since, he has said he was coming several times and then not shown up. He will not respond for several days at a time. The new walking belt (that I paid for) is with him. At this point I would just like that belt given to me. He is extremely lacking in the communication department.

Called a1 this morning and couldnt believe they had a technician at my house within 3 hrs. 30 minutes later the treadmill that other companies said couldnt be fixed, was in fact repair and working better than it has in years.Couldnt be happier.....

I contacted this guy to repair my treadmill. He showed for the first appointment and said he would get back to us the following day because he may have the part needed at his home which he claimed was just a mile or so away. Well we did not hear from him so I called and left a message. I still did not hear from him I texted him and he replied via text that he had a family member pass away and would get with me the following week (I have all the texts documented). I still did not hear from him and called a couple times and then texted him explaining my unfavorable experience and that I was submitting a review via Google and the BBB. His service call was $89.00 and a gave him $100.00. The remaining $11.00 was to against any charges for the parts. I will not recommend this company, moreover this person. Just a bad decision on my part to contact this guy.

We purchased a new treadmill and needed help with assembly. A friend suggested A1 FITNESS REPAIR. We gave them a call and could believe even with covid A1 was able to schedule time for us on a Sunday. Thank you A1 for all you help.

Tim took my money and did not provide any services. He diagnosed a problem with my treadmill, had me use my credit card to buy a part from a company he knew and then has refused to come back. His phone is now disconnected, and I have no part and no repair. Do not use this service

Imvery impressed with the professional service. My treadmill had been out of commission for the past few weeks and being told by several other companies it would cost $500+ for a new motor. I posted on craigslist for free. 1hr later i received a call from A1 FITNESS REPAIR. within the first min tech giggled and said i didnt need a new motor all i need was $37 motor brushes. Tech came out same day with parts in hand. Amazingly he had my treadmill running and went step further and cleaned my treadmill top to bottom it now runs and looks like the day i first bought it. A1 seems to be the only service outfit providing Senior discounts. Being on a small budget. A1 with out hesitation adjusted my out of pocket costs. I really need my treadmill and Jerry didnt keave until it was fixed.God bless

Update, its been 3 weeks since I had to go to Tims house to inquire about my belt and do these bad reviews in order to get him to communicate with me. My belt was supposed to be returned for a refund but I still have not received any communication about the return. Totally unprofessional of this company, Im waiting on a refund and will NEVER use their service.Tim was great in the beginning. He talked me over the phone on adjusting my belt since he said he had an accident on his way to my house. It turned out that I needed to order a new belt so we did but since then he has been a no show. Its been one excuse after another, too many orders and he was getting them mixed up but every time he say he is going to do something its nothing on his part no follow up. So I guess I will have to go to his shop and get my belt that I ordered an paid for on the phone. Enough is enough with this guy. He only gets 2 stars because he was great at first but after that very poor service.

I definitelade the tight choice by calling A1. Not only did Tim repair my treadmill. He also saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing my 65HDTV. HANDYMAN doesnt even come close to jow smart this guy really is.

Doesnt Show Up - Missed 3 appointmentsI was so happy when I first talked to Tim Givens and he said he could be out the next day to fix my treadmill. I waited at home all day on Saturday and he never showed up. He came out the following Tuesday, said he fixed the treadmill, took my credit card info and left. Treadmill was not repaired, was actually worse. He made excuses and said he would come back to fix. He has scheduled a total of 3 appointments that he has not shown up for. Horrible experience. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Tim Givens has stood me up 3 times after doing a shoddy repair job on a bike at my business. It failed after one use when he fixed it. He said he would come by 3 times over the next couple months and when he failed to show the third time I asked for my money back. They have no responded to facebook messages, they have not answered or returned phone calls, or emails. Their address is incorrect (the construction company there says the routinely get bills still after 2 years) This company is not to be trusted. We employ and train plenty of veterans at my gym and the level of deceit and overall shady business practices is less than indicative of someone who says they have Tims level of military service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Paid repair personon Timothy Givens to fix treadmil on November 7th, 2017. He was paid for part and to complete repairs. Three weeks went by and no service. After posting experience on FB and BBB, Mr givens said he would give us a refund and the part to treadmill by Monday, 12/4. He said he was on the way and never showed up. Its now been 1 month since he recieved payment and still has not provided the service or returned payment. Worse experience ever.
