The Houston Bay Area is quickly becoming a Comicbook collecting hot spot. This was my go to spot for well over a decade when I lived down here. Now I just visit and I am never disappointed. I always pick up 60s 70s and 80s books to fill put my collection.

Still my favorite comic store. Ive been shopping there for about 10 years. They have contests, sales, and lots of fun events. Great stuff from past comics, current comics, sketch covers, toys, t-shirts, hats, statues, collectibles. All are at a great price. Staff is very nice and friendly people. The staff here is so amazing. There’s one cashier that i didn’t catch a name of but he’s always been such a polite and professional person. My boyfriend and i go in there about once every week or two and they have a huge variety of pops, comics, figures, and other collectibles. Their prices are reasonable for what they are. Will always be a customer 😎👍🏼

I love this place... Ive havent collected in a while but came across a XMen comic that sparked my interest again... Now Im hooked again. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable of whats new and best reads...

I like the selection. The prices are good. The people, however...I have never been in a place with louder, more obnoxious people tending the store. Laughing like loons (over and above amusement), hollering at each other like a locker room full of drug-addled buffoons.....just unwelcome. It is ludicrous, especially given other locations dont have this issue.

A treat for the eyes for fans of a variety of areas. Plenty of Funko pops to comic books and a large wall of action figures. While the trading card area lacked variety, the amount of high end figures including Gundam were great.This place is worth a look if youre nearby.

They have some cool stuff. Their loose figures are over priced. And the staff is very arrogant didnt feel welcomed at all.

Love this place! Always find fun stuff related to my favorite shows, movies, hobbies, and comics. Good assortment of RPG stuff.

One of my favorite comic book shops due to the variety, but I live in Galveston so I dont get to shop here as much as I would like. They have even had comics shipped to their location for me when I was on the hunt. Our kids love it too, and are always asking when we can go back. Great customer service too. Much love and we will be back soon.

Im like a kid in a candy store in this place. They have collectibles, action figures, board games, shirts, hoodies and accessories. I have my eye on a couple of the collectors statues. Hopefully I can get them soon.

Whatever your into .Comics, role play, action figures, sci fi,horror, Pokémon .they got it . Something here for young and old. Personally I can spend hours in Bedrock.

I will not patronize a business which does not allow open/concealed carry of my state licensed right to carry a personal firearm. Point being, a business that enjoys everything this great country has to offer, picks and chooses which rights and privileges its customers can partake in, regardless of whether your weapon is open FOR EVERYONE TO SEE or not. THAT has already been debated at the state level, hence THE LAW. The criminal element customer does not care what sign you post...only us law-abiding customers do. Thanks for making my original point, I will not patronize a business that DECIDES TO NOT ALLOW LAW ABIDING CITIZENS TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO CARRY A PERSONAL FIREARM OPEN OR CONCEALED. You honor only those who are UNCOMFORTABLE with firearms, and dishonor those who are UNCOMFORTABLE being unarmed. For a business (enjoying the American capitalist system) open to the public, THAT is a shame, and a slap to law abiding OPEN CARRY citizens. There are OTHER comic book shops that SELL COMICS and dont mind my open carry FOR EVERYONE TO SEE, and appreciate my dollar. Hey, IT IS your right though to deny me entry into your business. Do you put little pieces of tape over all the depicted guns in your stores to not make your selected few customers uncomfortable? You even sell make-believe guns at your store. No sir, your stance has holes. I hope your staff and customers never have to deal with a worse case scenario because of your short sighted view. A scenario where you need to call the police and have to wait 5 or more precious minutes before they show up WITH GUNS. Have a nice day. IM OUT.

A very well curated and pleasant comic book store in Webster. It has a good selection of comics, trade paperbacks, collectables, action figures, board games and tabletop games. If you are looking for something in particular, the friendly staff will try to help. However if you have a particular vice or interest, you will probably have to go online or to Nans (board games, role-playing) or 3rd Planet (action figures) in the Kirby area or Dragons Lair out in Tomball.

Meh pricey but cool place

Im giving this place 2 stars because it does not provide customer service. I buy 500 to 600 of collectable for myself and my son a week and I never get help so Ill buy a comic that is only 3.99. they are always just looking around. This business is catered to customer service I wish they did that......

Good comics at a good price. If they dont have it they can probably get it. Great place for kids and kids at heart.

I came by around 3:15 on Friday May 1st and one of the associates told me that they were asking everyone to wear a mask. Pretty rediculous to think a little piece of fabric is going to protect you from a virus. I highly doubt everyone is going to be wearing a mask with the correct porosity to protect from the virus. Never coming back here again, they never have any good singles and their prices are outrageous anyway.

This is one of the finest. If only the prices were a tad better; but they have great customer service and have just about everything! Been going here a very long time, and it consistently proves time worthy. They usually can find something if its not in stock.

I’ve been to this Webster/Houston branch 3 times and will not be going back. The first two times my fiancé and I went here we were immediately profiled at the door for our tattoos and clothes, I’m assuming, because no one greets us until we have merchandise in our hands. Working retail in the past, I understand that theft is a massive industry that feeds off the retail vendors but the way we are followed and pestered in bedrock, so passive-aggressively, was too much to deal with. This was not customer service, this was security by geeks. The third time we went, we thought it was odd that no one greeted us the entire time we were there, even when shopping when suddenly the lights shut off in the store. We (and many other customers) were unaware of holiday closing hours and rather than voicing it, they kill the lights and act tart when I’m asking if we need to leave or what’s happening. They have a massive choice of comics but as a 27 year old collector that’s been doing this his whole life, I refuse to support a business with customer service like this. Toxic city and a couple of the Galveston stores are much better. If you’re the type of collector that appreciates the culture and camaraderie, don’t go here.

Great collections of both comics and collectibles. The workers were very nice, however, they didnt know very much about action figures or many characters. My 14 year old son knew more than they did (even about the older characters).

Bedrock is... suffering from corporateitis. The other day I noticed their storage drawers for comics are seated so close together that the drawers above the bottom drawers BASH the comics and damage the when opened and shut. I mentioned it to the clerk and he remained silent.Forced masks which you may approve of, but your reward is damaged books and clerks who are not permitted to address them.

The place is very spacious with a lot of Collectibles and comic books. They have way more of a selection of the figures than comics. (On the day we visited) my wife bought me a gift card and we visited later on the afternoon and it seemed they were busy earlier, so the selection of everything was kind of disappointing. It was the first time I was able to take my son to a comic book store as well and he was not impressed at all. He tried to joke with the people that worked there, but they acted like we should not even talk to them. We also felt like we were being followed around the whole time we shopped. It seemed they were rotating employees to happen to be right by us organizing things that did not need it. They could have at least asked if we needed some help. When we asked for help, it wasnt pleasant and made us feel we should not ask them questions and they just wanted to follow us. I went ahead and spent the whole gift card and then extra on stuff I did not care to get anytime soon just to get out of there. They are very expensive as well. From what I understand, they rarely have sales and old inventory is never kept there to eventually be on clearance. (According to them, they are so good, they sell everything fast and never have anything left. I find that hard to believe. ) I wanted to start collecting again where I left off, and they have NOTHING I was asking for. I was mainly looking for older TPBs, but Heaven forbid I ask for them! I would have been better off shopping online. Try not to treat new people that can be potential regulars, especially a father and son duo where the father is trying to get the son to collect. That days experience might have made him think even worse about the business. We had over $500.00 on us and not including the gift card. Fix your attitudes. We did not appreciate how we were treated and Im glad I used the gift card up so I wont feel like I have to come back to see what else I can get!

Very informative employees and the shopping selection is wide. They of course of have an excellent selection of toys, rare figures, modern comic issues, rare silver age comics, card game accessories, trade back volumes, books, posters, clothing merchandise and accessories, but their boardgame selection is somewhat lacking although I have noticed it is expanding. Its great to have a local comic shop here in Clear Lake!

Loved it here. I saw a variety of products I like.

My son loves going here because they sell Lego Minifigures of all kinds and get new ones on a regular basis $2.99-3.99 ea. The customer service is mostly great minus one experience. Go get comics, clothing, accessories, games, memorabilia, and toys with all sorts of characters. The prices are very fair. I believe they buy certain items as well.

Wonderful, friendly people!Before I found Bedrock, I had always had an extremely sour impression from comicbook jerks that treated me like garbage for liking certain things & not others, & treating me I was a fake fan. But these guys here have always been so nice & happy to help me find what Im looking for ♡♡Ive got a subscription box there so that I can keep up with new issues for the different series that I follow. I always enjoy going there, you never know what youll find.Youre not going to find a nicer group of people anywhere ♡

I was recently the victim of a theft in which my entire comic book collection was sold to this store. Ive tried to email and communicate with these folks via email, and whoever is answering their emails refuses to even tell me their name, much less assist me in recovering my stolen property, which they are still in possession of. Id still love to be able to arrange the return of my property without having to take them to court, but I cannot even get them to have a conversation with me to return my things.Like Ive stated in my emails to you, please just let me know who Im speaking with, and what you are doing to facilitate the return of my stolen property. If you fail to even communicate with me, then Ill have no choice but to file a lawsuit against you in Texas court. There is ZERO reason it needs to go there, I just want my property back. You know my contact info, anyone can reach out to me at any time.Read the other reviews here.... It turns out my ENTIRE childhood collection was sold for only $90. I will be more than happy to change this review, but for now, I have to caution you from doing business with such crooked individuals.

I really think the people who work here are awesome. They introduced me to DC Bombshells my first trip in and I managed to find a rare comic for a friends Christmas gift. They could have slightly better selection, but theyre always worth the trip for a comic or fun game.

Was walking to the door 3 min before 7 which was closing and then ths chubby chick closing ran to the door to close the door didnt even acknowledge I was walking in...guess she was on a rush to dinner..

Staff was friendly but some items are a bit over priced. They had a few SIDESHOW and Hot Toys figures. The also had Mezco:ONE figures as well. Overall cool place for figures and comics.

I was able to buy my son amd daughter some of their Xmas gifts here and with decent prices. They have a little of everything old school and new school stuff. If they dont have it, you dont need it. Picked up a few things for myself as well.

Its hard to find a comic book store that stays busy and has a good selection. Its a hard business to run. This place luckily has a good staff, great selection, and you can open up a box to guarantee your comics in stock. Its a place we spend a lot of money at.

Very knowledgeable staff and great benefits if you are a comic subscriber. They give you a box which stores your subscriptions and anything else you order through the store. Just make sure you stop by once a month to pick it up.
