Took my trumpet in to get cleaned. The service was absolutely incredible. My trumpet was in rough aesthetic shape. It had sat in a damp cupboard in England for a year and became completely oxidized and gross. Nothing I tried at home helped at all. Brought it to Music & Arts, and they gave it the works. Deep clean inside and out, polished it up, greased the slides, oiled the valves, new spit valve corks, new nuts on the third valve slide. It honestly looks as good as it did when it was brand new 20 years ago. The service was $150 and took about a week. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fresh up. Old man with pony tail was very rude and snobby. Ordered my son school instrument and asked if he could show us how to put together and he literally said NO. If you dont like your job..... Quit!!

Ordered an instrument for my sons first year in band. We ordered the instrument and all the supplies he needed. They were supposed to deliver everything to the school. They delivered the instrument and nothing else. We called and were told that nobody knew when the items would actually be delivered to the school. So now I have to either go out and purchase these items again, or my son will not have his supplies until they finally decide to deliver the items to the school....Ill go back to H&H next time.

They wouldnt even let me walk in the door. Their ignorance and fear mongering wont allow you to enter without a mask. They wont even treat you like a human being if you dont have a mask. They dont care about what youre looking fear. Just fear and ignorance. Such a garbage place. Ill take my money somewhere else.

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff. they have mandolins! no mandolin lessons though.i really like the store. i browse there and they dont give you trouble, but are always willing to give you attenotion if you need it, and leave you to your own devices when you dont

At 8:15 p.m., on 12/18/18, I was able to get off of I45 S, drive over to Music & Arts, park directly in front of the store, go in and locate, discuss, and purchase 2 harmonicas of the right key, right quality, along with gift cards, exit and get back on I45 S and headed on home in less than 15 minutes! While, on the West side of 45, the parking lots were packed and all looked very hectic. I am SO GLAD I didnt have to get in that mess!

Great place to buy instruments and learn of course. To be honest the teachers are not that good at teaching. Its like they are not moved by what they do. They dont take their job seriously(lame); they lack passion. I took some guitar lessons and honestly I got better by myself instead of relying on their spoon feeding. I can tune the guitar myself by just using an app. I got better at guitar by playing my favorite songs first. Anyway its a great place for anyone who loves music despite whatever circumstances. Pursuing something you love means it doesnt matter how you learn it or whatever happens as long you acquire that knowledge and go beyond.

They dont do repairs on this site (and dont send instruments out every day), and were not as knowledgeable about repairs as expected (options available, and costs). Did repairs that were not unauthorized or discussed so cost was more than expected. No sufficient explanation for this was provided. Need better customer service training.

Ariel did an absolute wonderful job! Her knowledge base in absolutely IMPRESSIVE! She deserves a raise! If you don’t give her one, I will personally pay her my money out of pocket!

I have used them to repair a clarinet twice and was happy with the outcome but a certain man that I dealt with at Webster location was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable and irritated. He was a gentleman in his 50’s with light brown hair. He was highly sarcastic and very ill mannered in his dealings with me. When I contacted him on the phone he was very sarcastic about “people dropping their instruments off at the last minute”, before band season starts up again, and also in person he belittled the instrument we brought for repair, condemning its quality and scoffed when we said we couldn’t afford better at the moment. Had he been more polite and non-belittling, I might have looked more into renting from them but his ill mannered ways left a bad taste in my mouth. I will try more to do business with H&H music in the future.

These people make it so difficult to pay. They dont want to take payments other than the only card on the account, and when i loaded money on the card to pay on the 1st called them and told them payment is ready to be taken out, they told me i had to wait until the auto bill pay. By that time with fees and other bills the money for them was not there. Money is money. Tried to pay over the phone and in store with cash more than once and wont accept payment. Ive never had a huge problem with trying to pay a business money owed. The payments are behind because of this. Im definitely dropping the horn off and renting elsewhere.
