Staff is nice, but they failed to communicate all of the options. They sent me several incorrect engineering plans and didnt supply photos throughout the building process which would have helped me identify errors along the way. In the end I got a house without the pocket door between the bath & bedroom, with the incorrect tiles on the bath backsplash, and no can lights in the living room. Had the appropriate design schematics been sent to me early on that would have been caught and corrected. In the end I never got an apology, just a bunch of excuses. Additionally, the factory put the bedroom light switch and one of the exterior GFCIs in places that werent on the final plan that was supposedly for my build and I never got an explanation as to why. Overall the home is fine, though its clear that they factory is more concerned with slapping them together and getting them out the door, than in sending out a quality finished product. Luckily I just bought it as a rental unit, so Im not living with the shoddy finishes. Id strongly recommend if you want to go this route of just buying it roughed in and selecting and adding your own finishes on site after deliver. Youll get better quality and probably at equal or lesser cost.
Great folks, very experienced and knowledgeable, great tour of factory to see how they build your home. John is great to work with. Very helpful. Thanks John
Richard and Shannon are great to work with. It was a very positive experience.
My experience with John Gillespies service was great! He was courteous on the phone, prompt in responding to e-mails and providing all the relevant information, in short, providing a great customer experience. This is something that a customer takes away, whether or not they purchase something.
As a building contractor myself, I was surprised and I must say impressed when I read the spec. sheet with the details of what the Champion Homes are built with. I was just as pleased when I took delivery of the house. And I was more than satisfied with all the help along the way from Heavenly who a year later still responds the same or next day to my requests for data sheets or other info. It was really a pleasure to work with her as she is always prompt and knowledgeable about everything along the way. So thanks a bunch Heavenly and Factory Expo!
First home buying experience like this... Heavenly was awesome!! She walked us through the whole process over the phone before we made the trek to ID. When we arrived there we had a hotel set up by her and a convent next day meeting. She went through every detail of our new home, let us make all the changes we wanted to the design (even several we thought of on the drive home).Overall 5 stars
We have been reviewing homes at numerous agencies but I keep coming back here. As we narrow down our choices, one of the things I look at is excellent customer service. In the last few months Ive had the pleasure of working with a gentleman named Richard Winslow. He is so kind and patient. He has answered every question Ive asked and actually seems eager to sell us a home.Richard doesnt pressure me but does follow up to see if theres anything else I need. Since were still in the loan approval process, I can only hope that we are approved quickly. We are using a local bank who is recommended by friends.I hope we can do business with this branch because customer service is very important to me and Richard has gone above and beyond. Most places Ive emailed either dont respond, or they only respond after me saying its my 3rd attempt. That doesnt impress me but these guys do!
Out of the 5 manufacturers I had reached out to, Heavenly Jones and her outfit in Weiser, ID was the most helpful and the best to work with. The information she provided in response to all my requests and the level of communication she maintained was top notch and so very much appreciated. Heavenly - know that if/when my wife and I decide to once again pursue purchase of a manufactured home, yours is the outfit we’ll be coming to. I will also highly recommend your services to anyone I meet who has a similar need. Thanks again for such great customer service.
John Gillispie & Shannon Nagasaka we’re so helpful. They are the best! Anyone interested in a Park Model, John is your go to man.
Shannon Nagasaka helped me through the process of creating my beautiful park model home. She went out of her way to accommodate a special wardrobe I had hoped to be in my bedroom, as well as making sure I had all my extra special requests. I absolutely love my home. I enjoyed every visit with her, a lovely person and good listener.
I really enjoyed talking with John, he has a lot of knowledge and does a great job. If you are looking for a home this is the fellow you want to talk to.

BUYER BEWAREFactory Expo Homes (FEH) in Weiser, Idaho took over $8,000 hard earned cash from my little family. We were reassured that if anything happens within the 30 day window, we could get our money back, minus their $395 paperwork fee. We requested a refund and were quickly denied. We are now in the process of working with a Real Estate Attorney to help us get our money back, so we can move on with our lives.FEH like the, self serve “Potato Bar” of Manufactured home dealers. You will you get a small raw potato for a cheap price, but YOU have to bake it. If you want any toppings, you will pay for every drop of butter, every single chive, and every drop of sour cream. I should mention, bacon is not on the menu, so don’t get your hopes up. They just take your money, they take their sweet time, and leave you to take care of the rest.In other words, you get a small cheap manufactured house, you have to do the heavy lifting of finding contractors for excavation, foundation, water, sewer, power, transporting your home, setting your home, and finish work. The base model does not come with any features we enjoy as modern society, and if you want to add them, it all ends up costing just as much as any other mobile home dealer. If you value your sanity, I would recommend doing business with a reputable manufactured home dealer in your home town. In the end, prices will be the same if not better than Factory Expo Home’s pricing, you will get better quality, more features standard, they will throw in a few upgrades for free, and they will take care of everything along the way saving you countless hours of stress. They will bake your potato, put it all together just the way your like it, and bring to you ready to eat, for the same price as FEH.Before we agreed to start signing anything, our sales associate assured us that if anything happens, we will be refunded, minus the $395 “Home preparation fee.” We would not have signed anything if she had not made this verbal promise to us. We trusted that we could be refunded if things did not work out; we were mislead. We were rushed through the paperwork, my wife and I were not given the necessary time to thoroughly read through the confusing, contradictory, and unethical contracts being pushed in front of us faster than we could sign.Nowhere in the sales agreement does it state that 10% of the purchase price is due, but they still took 10% from us.After multiple verbal promises made by our sales associate, the contract states any “verbal promises are invalid.”They give 30 days to secure the long term funding, yet they didn’t provide the crucial foundation plans to us until day 27. We failed to get construction loan approved due to the foundation plans they sent us had a door in the wrong place, plans were not to code, and would need to pay an architect to draw up real foundation plans in order to give us accurate bids for the site work. Without the site work bids, we could not obtain a construction loan. After 29 days of contractors telling us that they cannot give us quotes for the site work without the foundation plans,We requested a refund on day 30, and we were denied so fast that we feel that they definitely did not take time to review any important details regarding our situation. One vital detail they do not tell you, nor is it in the contract: They only care about the long term loan, NOT the construction loan, and if you don’t have your construction loan before the 30 day deadline, they will keep your deposit. At this point Factory Expo Homes has not begun building anything for us, they have not provided any services in return, and they are keeping our money. We are currently working with an attorney, and we will take every necessary measure to recoup as much of it as we can.
Shannon Nagasaka at Champion Homes in Weiser, Idaho helped me design my perfect Park Model cabin getaway.
Called to see if we could stop by, of course! Get there and too busy with an appointment but we could look, answer questions after. Still too busy, took name and number, never called. Look elsewhere I guess
