The Publix staff here are really friendly!I think the community around is smaller but grocery shop more frequent, due to busy schedules...so staff are friendlier because there are alot of regulars.This is setup nice because you actually hit dairy first instead of last.

Ill drive all the way from lake worth to go here. I like the deli . They got a lot of cookies and sweets l like.all the employees are nice .better than wholefoods.

This location has declined in overall experience...slicing incorrect lunchmeats and cheeses, consistently out of sale items, fried chicken is out at dinner time and not being cooked until requested. Started to shop other locations. Change in management???

One of the better stocked larger locations in Wellington near the city center. They do have a better delli, bakery, produce, seafood and meat counter then most of the other Publix locations in the immediate area. Management is also pretty on the ball too.They just completed the parking lot area in front of the store within the past year. So there are plenty of handicap parking spaces right near the entrance.Next door is a CVS pharmacy and a Wells Fargo. It is a decent strip mall type shopping centers and has a little of everything in the other stores at the shopping center. Its also usually pretty busy so expect some traffic.

I’ve been coming here for years. Today I had the first bad experience at checkout with a cashier named Toni. Basic customer service skills include being friendly.

I’ve never actually rated a grocery store. Don’t get your protein here. Unless it’s case ready or in a can.We got two “fresh” turkeys for Thanksgiving. One was bad. On Thanksgiving morning we ran to Whole Foods (they were thankfully open) and salvaged the day with two of their already brined fresh turkeys. So I might say, well maybe it was the processor’s fault and not Publix. Doubtful. It was from a reputable processor. The bad one had an earlier date stamp so it was likely a problem with temperature control at the store. And it couldn’t have been caused by me. Both were in the same refrigerator.Round 2: Christmas. Bought two lobster tails to make my famous lobster Mac-n-cheese. As we speak it is just famous Mac-n-cheese. One of the tails was bad. They had signs all over that said these were previously frozen tails. I got ones that were not still frozen because I was literally taking them home at that moment and cooking them. Should have got the frozen ones and thawed them. Or should have remembered my Thanksgiving experience and just went to Whole Foods.And to add insult to injury, I should have taken the rancid meat back to the store and got my money back both times. But I didn’t because, well the first time was Thanksgiving day and Publix was closed, and right now it’s a madhouse and I’m not going to fight the covid crowds for a few bucks while wasting an hour of my time and stinking up my car.

Every time it seems like we always find an employee with an attitude.. Today was Wendy at register 11.. She was very rude, its not our fault the item was priced in correctly... She had an attitude about the situation and wasnt helpful at all.. I worked for publix and my Mother worked there for 30yrs we were not trained that way..

Friendly cashiers but needs work re: correct price tags. Had to have a manager verify and correct 2 separate items

Pubilx it self is perfect the pharmacy is the issue. The pharmacist always has an attitude and quick to snap and very rude. My thing is you went to school for your title use your head sometimes.

Their pub subs are so good. My favorite lunch to get from here is always either a pub sub or california rolls. Since I live roght next to this place I always see old classmates working here, so I basically see this store as my third home.

So nice to have a place like this in your neighborhood. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Always going out of their way to go the extra mile. And they are very line conscious . Ive never had to wait in line behind more than 2 or three people. Except of course on holiday. I would have given 5 stars but the deli dept struggles. The number system seems to be out of order constantly, so its a free for all to get helped. I started using the order online for deli meats and that is hardly ever ready and i give them a few extra minutes to be safe as well. To end on a good not the pharmacy dept is exceptional!!!! Makes me feel good when Robin greets me with my name!!!

Victoria was awesome. I was checking out with a 12-pack of Coke, and she suggested I get more, because they were buy two and get one free. So I thanked her for the suggestion and grabbed two more. By the time I got back to the check out lane, she had the bagger grab me a shopping cart which I would now need to carry all my soda. She was friendly, talkative and very knowledgeable about the deals that were going on! This is a keeper, and someone worthy of looking into promotion. I know we are living in challenging times, but it is a shame that in times like these and even under the banner of we care about first responders and health workers, other people are treated rudely, and that s my experience with Donovan one of the managers of this Publix.May 14, 2020 at 8pm I phoned this Publix asking what time the store closed. The person who answered the phone simply told me they were closing at 9pm, she NEVER told me that 8 - 9 was for first responders and health workers only (my wife is a nurse). When I got there DONAVAN was at the door and when I wanted to go in he wouldnt let me. I told him that I had called and was told that they were closing at 9pm.Then he told me that they were, but that they were only open for first responders and health workers. I told him that my wife was a nurse and was at home, but he said no, that she was the one who had to come. I told him, if I explain the reason why I came here, maybe you can be flexible, he said, you can tell me any story you want, but whatever it is, Im not going to let you in”. I told him, you are not going to let me in even if I tell you that my mother-in-law has pancreatic cancer and she is craving for fried bananas and I just came to get a bottle of oil and that my wife, the nurse, cant come because she is taking care of her? This heartless guy, with no compassion at all, told me, “I dont care, you cant come in”. I got upset.. still am.. and said, Ok, Im going to call my wife and ask her to come, she is going to leave her mom who shes taking care of because you cant let me come in and buy the bottle of oil I need... well, I called my wife and she was able to come in and buy the oil to make the bananas for her mom.The reason I consider this man to be rude and lacking in compassion and why Publix needs to review this situation is:1. The person I spoke to on the phone TOLD ME THEY WERE COLSING at 9PM, never that 8 to 9 was for first responders and health workers. If she had told me such, I would have stayed with my mother-in-law and my wife would have come, SHE IS A NURSE. (common sense)2. This rude and inflexible man, Donovan, wouldnt even listen to the reason I was there. And when I told him, he didnt care, he didnt have any compassion at all and of course, no flexibility. (It would have been easy to let me in or find a way to try and help me).Something so simple that it would have been resolved with a little compassion and understanding, this man turned it into an embarrassment for Publix.Of course, I said a few things to this man, I never insulted him, nor did I record a video, because Im not that kind of person.3. Its a shame that people like this man represents a business as historically reputable as Publix.What good is it for Publix to brag that they care about our heroes in this crisis if they lack compassion for others? (still.. my wife is a nurse)For this reason, this Publix will never have me as a customer again. I hope that management will pay attention to this issue and understand that in times of crisis and in real situations, one can use common sense, use discretion and be flexible.

Store is always clean, organized. Bakery is excellent for cakes and various pastries. Meats on the high end price-wise but you get bargains when they have specials. Staff always courteous and professional. Checkout a breeze via under-ten-items line...can be a bit of a wait in regular line .... But never a big deal with me.

This is the best Publix experience. Ive been visiting this Publix for 20 years. I walk in this store almost everyday.I know most of the employees. They are always very helpful and go out if their way to help me.Ive never had a bad experience. I love Publix.

Always has what I need...

Dont order on line ever. I order five luncheon meats every two weeks, every single time (6 times now) they give me a time and guess what? Its never ready. I have to wait another 30 min for them to start the order. I have a credit card on file, I have been going here for years and I have ordered on line for 6 months now. Since 2018 they drop the ball repeatedly. Manager told me that supposedly they called twice and my phone never rang, they didnt leave a voicemail either. This is not and has not been a one time thing, the manager was not helpful at all. Then if they do manage to make the order its never in the pickup area. I have to wait in line to ask them if its been fulfilled, to which the reply is if its not in the pick up area it isnt ready, so they start on the order until another employee realized the order was fulfilled and in the back. After 10 min of looking they found it, all and all the on line ordering of 5 luncheon meats takes an hour and a half for them to full fill in person. Its an absolute joke and a complete waste of time. Other than the CharlieFoxTrot that is the On-Line ordering the store is great.

This Publix has issues with restocking. Popular items that sell out are frequently out of stock for long periods of time because employees purposefully ignore the item until a customer asks for it, sometimes months at a time. There is no consistency here. Also, I have a pet who eats a raw diet. As part of the diet, he gets beef heart, which is extremely inexpensive. But no matter how many times I have asked for it to be kept in stock, the meat manager refuses. I have to special order it, wait for a week to get it, and if I dont get to the store the exact day it comes in, he sells it from underneath me. I often contend with employees talking on their cell phones while working, so it can feel like you are being bothersome when trying to ask a simple question. Its not rare to see employees collecting carts but really just hanging out in the parking lot surfing the Internet or texting. Publix used to be the best store, hands down, bar none...and Ive lived from California to the Northeast and all over the South. Youd think the management would have some idea how to manage the demand for precooked food like the rotisserie chickens to make sure they were available for the dinner crowd but they just cant seem to grasp the concept of supply and demand. If you sell a bunch of a product, its a sign you should be ordering more and more often. Am I crazy? Because I find myself highly irritated in this store having to leave to get one ingredient across town because this happens so frequently! I rarely comment but this happened to me one time too many. If I ran my business they way they do Id be unemployed.

Ive been going to this Publix since 2011. Within the past year, there has been one issue that has come to both mine and my fiancés attention. Within the past year, theyve hired a few baggers who were creepy and made us feel uncomfortable. They made inappropriate remarks and sometimes asked inappropriate questions. We commented about this to management and I feel fairly certain that other people probably commented about them as well, since the ones who made us feel uncomfortable were no longer working there. However, within the past couple of weeks, two of the latest hires are just as creepy, if not more creepy than the ones theyve replaced. If this trend doesnt stop, we might start going to the Publix on Forest Hill instead, which has much better reviews.

This store has an old school feel. The layout reminds me of the store I use to go as a kid. Very nice and professional staff.

It would be nice if the deli staff could be trained on food allergies and product allergens. Asked the staff if their sub rolls are dairy free as I am nursing a baby with a dairy allergy. Not one person knew the answer. Very frustrating.

Went there to get money orders for $4,000. Was told that over $3,000 required 2 forms of ID. So I asked for money order for $3,000 and then the manager said because I had already asked for over $3,000, he would still require 2 forms ID. So I showed him. Then he asked for my social security card, which I believe is illegal. I generally go to that publix a few times per week and they know me. But I will not be returning there.When I asked why I couldnt simply get $3,000 and go to another Publix one of the employees lied and said because I would be in the system. But how could I be in the system if I dont give ID? Duh!End of story: I simply went to 2 other Publix stores and got money orders for $2,000 each. Really terrible customer service and hints of racial discrimination as well.

A proper grocery store that has everything.

This is the worst publix in Wellington. I had picked out a cake from their limited selection and had happy birthday written on it when I go to check out the kid bagging my cake was so rough with everything he threw the cake through the cart and all over the floor. The best part was they never apologized a manager never came over and it was the last cake they had. Also the cashier snatched back the gift card I bought out of my hand because I didnt sign the screen yet. This publix really needs to get it together.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT!!!...I am taking the time to write this complaint so the other customers shopping here will know this Publix has terrible employees working here, and I will never be shopping at Publix again!The cashier (Heather) (at the so-called Customer Service counter) decided to discriminate against me and take another customer out of the line to get in front of me. I decided to ask the Assistant Manager (Neil) for assistance to find out why I was discriminated against, but he refused to help me.Finally, assistant manager (Ed) did assist me, he tried to call Heather to the front to find out what happened, but Heather went outside of the store to sit down on the bench because she knew I was complaining.I used to work for Publix, and the manager at my store would have fired her on the spot for such actions.I WILL NOT stop complaining until Publix decides to do what the management preaches and take care of the customerI WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY PUBLIX EVER AGAIN!!!!
